oooooo.... sweet work there! I love what he did with Poison Ivy in that pice, great pose for her. And the glowy grass disk is quite unique... I would have never thought of that one XD

The position and stress of the vines on Poison's costume caused it to rip and fly off. The resulting thousands of gallons of gamer-guy's drool on the paper of the comic book caused the match to be a draw.

Hey gang - I'm glad everyone likes this piece! It was a very cool concept that Sabres had, especially putting them in Eden. Very appropriate for the characters.
And Graver - It's cool that you like the glowing plant! It doesn't make much sense except to give the piece some extra lighting

Really cool piece ... I like how you made sure we could see the features of both toons very clearly. And yeah, as mentionned above, that grass disk is a nice touch especially if she flies.

Well, like I said, I only really started lurking lately. I had seen some works of his in the past, but never knew that he would take open commissions until I saw some of the postings here. I had always thought it was something done for friends, etc. I just never realized/thought a published artist would be open to something like that.

Here's a piece I thought I'd share, as I was really happy with how it came out. I had commissioned Brandon McKinney to do this one of Countess Ivy versus Poison Ivy. The battle to see who gets to be the one, true 'Ivy'.
It was the first piece I had done by Brandon, and was extremely happy with how it came out. I had always liked Brandon's style from the original CoH comic, but never knew he actually did commission work until recently.
