I was thinking a morphing melee set would be fun. For instance hammer thrust (hand morphs into a hammer), axe slice (hand morphs into an axe), blade spin (you get the picture), etc.

For defense a materials powerset. For instance diamond skin (final power temperarily impervious) stone skin (lethal, smashing protection), silicon (psi portection), etc

You can alter what the brush does in ps by the brush settings. For instance some settings will make it get bigger as you press harder, some will effect how much ink you put down etc. so the pressure can effect many chosen atributes.

I love my intous 6 x 8. It is a great size and this series is the serious artist line. It runs in the 260 to 290 range. They make a 4 x 5 for about 170.

Get an eraser shield. It is a small aluminum pice of metal with various sized cutouts in it to erease only what you need too. You should be able to get them at any art store or a drafting supply store.

Ok, making some slow progress. I have finally done the hair for Hex, and started on the basic color blocking for the char. Just wanted people to know I am alive an working (although very very slowly).

More specifically having trouble with black hair looking more than just well all black.

Yeah I have used that tutorial also, and do like it> I also skip the grey steps and strat with the clumped areas in color. But ty for reposting it.

What is the best way to do hair in ps. I have done it by doing a base layer color than applying various other colors overtop by basically drawing strands, followed finally by highlights etc. Is there a more efficient way? This time I am thinking of doing it all by drawing various width and length strands, then effects etc. I know dj has posted this stuff before, but wanted to know how others approached this.
