People complain far less about getting killed than complaining about people who don't make clean kills. Which is why I always make sure I get my kill in a hotspot - unless I'm severely screwed re: odds against me.

i SOOOO CAN'T WAIT FOR ALL STALKERS TO HAVE THEIR AS NERFED!

I even tried creating one, a nin/nin stalker, Its definetly not fair nor fun a for a COH vet to one shot people. Learn to play well with coordinated attacks and not by RPGing someone with a sniper rifle with your sword.

I have no problem getting my ars handed to me by a stalker or any other AT, but the whole purpose of PvP or PvE is to fight, exchange blows, see what an intermix of COH and COV powers will turn into, not getting 1 shotted, not fun, like i said, being killed after a worth battle? cool. Honorable, getting 1 shotted? dishonorable, cowardly, no skills. as statesman said:
1. We're looking into the tweak to Endurance for mobs that's affected Endurance Drain abilities. Sorry about that!

2. We'll be putting in a check that prevents "one shotting"; if anything occurs within a fraction of second that brings a player from 100% Hit Points down to 0, we instead give the player 1% Hit Points.

Uh, you realize most stalkers don't rely on one-shots because there're only two hero classes they can actually score one-shots on, right? So this doesn't really change much.

i play PvP alot, allomost all of the stalkers in sirens call, uses AS as their primary attack!

And the nerf isn't even going to affect me because I rely on multiple attacks to kill most of the time, anyway.

Your insults are amusing because a lot of the people who play stalkers also play many other ATs. Your generalizing of all stalkers to be "cowardly noobs" makes you look like an idiot.

hmmm.... I don't PvP a whole lot but I have dabbled in it and unless I'm doing something wrong, certainly possible, it's not always easy to quickly tell what just took 99% of your hp's when your already in an engagement with many targets swirling around. When surrounded by enemies and suddenly near death it makes much more sense to take self preservation actions and flee than attempt to locate and engage. In fact, this poster makes a comment that his / her victim is killed by NPC's some large percentage - makes one wonder if those people were staying in danger to locate their assailant and paid the price.

Well, this does seem a little odd, but given one one could easily put it together that a stalker is lurking around and they are not exactly easy to spot, not re-engaging is probably a little cowardly but also not foolish or anything. Call it discretionary... lol. Perhaps there were some searching around to re-engage, but in trying to sneak up on you to get the drop they couldn't find you and you never saw them.
Not trying to stir up trouble or anything - I like the danger factor presented by stalkers. Not afraid to honestly say either that when I'm looking around for PvP w/ my AR/dev blaster I can't beat them by myself. I'm just not built for it I guess. My solution is not to nerf them though but just to realize that and hunt them down with a team and exterminate with prejudice - you know, good clean fun! I just wanted to present some possible explanations for what you saw from the victim's (er, opponent's) side.

I agree, but then- what's the point- of the no one shotting? To give them a chance to run away? I can see that- but then say it, say "I want to be able to run"... don't say "I want a fighting chance".. because there is no fighting going on in these situations.

Granted, it only affects 2 AT's.. BUT - for all the people that were crying "Down with one shots", obviously it's a large chunk of people.

I think they said that the point of removing one-shots was to give people a chance to actually do SOMETHING - run, hide, activate an oh crap power, whatever. Which is why they put it in PvE, too.

With all this talk about 1 shots, and the dmg output with hide=extreme, why not make this a lvl 32 power like nova or inferno, extreme dmg, and makeing all your end go buh bye for a few seconds. Otherwise lets make blasters novas or infernos, recharge after 5 seconds to do it again

It seems liek peopel want to have a 'fighting chance.' I don't really understand what a fighting chance is I guess.

A blaster imobilizes me, then hits me twice to kill me. I coul dhave used a break through if I'd have had one, but since I didn't I died. This was annoying, but I'm not gonna gripe at them. Only problem was I was super jumping around.

A stalker comes at me to AS. I'm super jumping around. He's 1: not gonna even have a chance to hit me because I'm moving and 2: probly not going to kill me in one shot. If he does kill me guess what, oh well. I died to people hitting me once from a sniper liek shot. I've died to peopel that incapacitated me and I wasn't able to move till I died.

What is the differance? Why is it OK for some to get kills and others not to. Also, name another AT that villians have that can even stand up to the Heroes. in strait 1 on 1 fights, tankers and scrapper kill all the villians, trollers have better holds than doms, defenders have better buffs and debuffs than controllers. MM's pets are so slow and don't stop their master from dieing quickly to a scrapper.

I think the Heroes are just complaining about their onyl competition.

If the villains are so strong, why is it SC and Warburg are almost allways taken over by Heroes.

Sure, if you remove all nukes' AoE components, remove all extreme damage attacks at other levels (Moonbeam? Knockout Blow?), and get the holy hell out of this forum and stop trolling already.

Pheonixxic was trying to tell us that being wooped by a blaster is the same as being ASd. he said if he had a break free he could have escaped, u cant use a break free with a stalker. You guys are missing the point why AS should be nerfed, nothing should be that powerful of an attack should have been created at such a low level and so frequantly used as well. It should have been your last primary power, and used every 10 minutes or more.

Brutes, at lvl 40, a dark/dark brute allmost killed my lvl 50 invun/stone tank in the arena, add 10 lvls and the brute will be uber compared to a tank.
