Yes, totally correct here. And it could have been put in the test notes better worded, I think. :P
They basically removed some " " quotes from around the word smashed. It used to read "smashed" in combat text, which is wrong.
No change in functionality, I've tested it.
yes, it was text change only...course it was funny reading all the DOOOOOMMMM posts from our local emporium of nervous bot mm's.
And it was basically a change to the PvP combat text since in PvE the combat logs don't report pet actions. You would have to be on the recieving end of the Assault Bot smashing you to see it. That fact only added to a lot of the confusion.
BTW, how many of you people have been smashed by an Assault Bot?

Actually the question had been asked back when this change was put up on test on 2/16. This is the first red name confirmation of what most people assumed the patch note meant.

The patch note was incomprehensible to anyone who doesn't pay attention to combat spam (me). Castle admitted it. It's all over now and I can continue my life happily.
Although the question remains, why has my assault bot stopped meleeing sometimes? It's weird--and I attribute it to the text change. (satire)
