However... the Devs have continued their shortsighted obsession with LIMITING who gets what. Why do male characters get the one shoulder and females do not? Shouldn't it be the other way around?? Why can't both males and females choose the one shoulder or full front? Why can't you have tails with a toga?

That's irrelevant, since only a freakjob like Cato would run around in a toga and nothing else. Anyone who wasn't a lunatic wore a tunica under the toga. Of course, it doesn't matter, since the garment in question IS NOT A TOGA AT ALL. It's a tunica, maybe a chiton.

Yes, you've made that abundantly clear. And even more amazingly, you weren't the first one to point that out.
They need to reverse the toga so that it goes over the other shoulder, so that it at least matches the asymmetrical cape mantle. I don't care if togas were traditionally worn over the left shoulder or whatever, we have left-handed katana users running around. I think we can fudge a little.

One, they won't let us cut a hole in it, just like the robes.
Two, it's not easy to just tape our tail to one of our legs, it gets rather uncomfortable.

All other special event badges (1 year anni., winter event, etc.) have been accolades, not because there were special items or powers or anything attached to them, but because it is the only category they fit into. A Valentine badge is hardly an exploration, Accomplishment, History or Achievement badge, or whatever they're called.
The main reason, is simply because as they don't fit in any other category, they are put in the Accolades category.
On a personal note, I would like to thank the devs for this special little treat, I am looking forward to playing some more with the possibilities. Now get back to work on I7
