Na he forgot to have Synapse "Scout" ahead. If he did then Synapse would have got stuck and had the crap beat out of him and thus be tired enough for States to just wipe them all out 
God I pity the dev who takes over the Synapse character especially after that CoV trailer.
With the launch of I7, I want to see the following things in the game:
-trenchcoats
-gun+sword combo power
-water-based powers (IMO what the girl uses)
-shoulder kittens for male heroes 
I don't like that the Asian heroes do not fit the CoH world at all. They look like they fled from a Final Fantasy game. I'm not saying their design (as in their look) is bad, the opposite. But they do not have the same flair as the rest of the game and that makes it a bad design.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw it, but hey, that's what they're into. Besides, look at the smash hit the Marvel vs. Capcom series was. Western heroes (comics), Eastern heroes (manga) clashing and joining up to kick [censored]! And hey, if you're still not sold; Asian chicks, 'nuff said. I don't expect Cryptic to go entirely in this direction, but I'd like to see atleast a tiny bit of influence (no pun intended).
If the weird liquify teleport that Mirror Spirit was doing is implemented, I foresee a huge wave of Alex Mack characters.

At the end of the movie...
Foreshadow -> Naruto
Spark Blade -> Sasuke
Statesman -> Kakashi
I think only a handful will actually notice the similarities. *snickers* Now, if only it were atop a hospital...

What origin would they be? You can count out Tech and Sci for obvious reasons. Magic would be blasphemy. Mutation would be out of the question for lack of cell phones and microwaves... that would leave natural.

Yeah, which means that States was in the asian part of the world before Lord recluse attacked with his followers. But notice that he's not in the first CoV trailer which means that States left after that maybe looking for more help.....aww poor States knew the nerf was coming!!
Maybe that location from the video will be a new zone, ala Striga and Croatoa, and the asian heroes will be some of the contacts and/or show up in missions to aid you. Perhaps in I7 or I8 we'll see the long dreamt of airport zone, from which we can travel to this new area, along with several more exotic locales to be added later.

The important thing to remember here, is that NCSoft has a marketing division. Who may be responsible for all the videos we see. Meaning that all the powers you think you saw in there, may be nothing more than fluff the movie makers put in, cuz it looked cool. it could very well be that the people who actualy made hte movie have never even played CoH.

I don't know, personally I think it's GOOD design to let people play whatever kind of heroes they want to play in the game world. You wanna be a gritty scrapper with a jacket and T-Shirt? Go for it. You wanna play a guy running around in a leotard? You can do that too. Why not let people play Dragonball GTH-style heroes if that's their thing?

I noticed the martial artist, Foreshadow, seemed to not only use kicks, but chi-enhanced hand strikes as well. Does this mean MA will be getting some energy melee animated attacks to choose from, or are we getting a different,more "street fighting" MA set to choose from? Also seriously looking forward to a gunkata scrapper, if thats one of the archtypes that's coming

Thats what I thought too, plus street fighting is going to be more "boxing like" in appearance from what I've been reading about it .
That Lightning sword attack is probably one of the most kick - azz attacks ive seen this side of Onimusha or Devil May Cry
