New Year's Resolution or Pod People Invasion?

Why the sudden turnaround in Dev behaviour?

Keep it up, pods!

They started their resolutions? The last I heard, Statesman said he was going to start hitting the gym again "soon"...

It's a jedi mind trick.

They're just messing with us. Keep us off balance, never know what to expect kinda thing...

To be honest, almost all of these things have been in development WAY before New Year's. We started working on the Defense change back in October. But we really needed to test things and make sure our solution actually worked. That's pretty much the way of things.

This is not the dev you are looking for...

Sheesh, poor guy.

Rolls out some great news and keeps getting backhanded compliments.

No kidding. I don't think she was being rude though, that was said in fun. I do think, however, that the devs have some kind of office game where they all get together and see which comments they post get the most flames. They probably score them by (the nicer the dev comment) x (the meaner the flame response) = the most points.

Tell me States, well, PM me if you don't want to post it, do you chuckle reading the forums, or do the flames kill you inside?

Ok, that's enough from me.

They do. A lot of the posts crack them up. Scroll down to the games section, quite a few 'game' threads were started by devs. They have a very healthy sense of humor. Heck, States was asked who his favorite posters were once, he named PuffyShirt.

Personally, I would like to welcome our new pod person overlords.

I'm not normally standing up for the developers. Mostly due to the fact that I see some stuff needs to be changed/fixed, and it seems to have gotten ignored due to 'balance'.

This post isn't about that though. As stated elsewhere, I really have to applaud their work at making things a bit better, particularly AVs, and a few other things. I may stop being quite so bitter because of it.

Good start to the year, lots to be done still. ^-^ For example, I'm still waiting for my personal apartment. I know issue 7 is coming, and due to the things that have been added recently I'm more than willing to see how things develop, without being too mean.

As stated, keep up the good work developers.

I don't know about that.

UniqueDragon reached his level with one post just for sheer insanity and off the wall lunacy of it all.

Ripperjack was heading near there before he figured out he got more attention by doing a character and thus ruined it by laying it on too thick.

Is Puffy the one who came back under a different name and started a thread so stupid I had to post a link to it in another thread about "dumbest trolls ever?" and comparing it to his original trolls without realizing it was the same guy?

And then he spent a week flaming me?

Gosh, those were the days.
