Where is the big event?

well, its patching now...so hopefully...son...
Right.
I'm patched, logged into my villain, and ....
...
...
...
nothing.
Checked CAD ... nothing new.
Checked Mercy ... nothing new.
Checked PP ... nothign new.
...
...
...
So, um ... I heard rumors that there'd be, like, an event, today ...? If there is ... WHERE ...?
There's an extensive patch notes for todays' patch but it doesn't mention a holiday event. I ran around the various pvp helicopters and pvp zones, and saw no signs of a Santa NPC giving out missions (or whatever it is). I asked lots of other players, nobody knew anything. 
Patched and in-game... still clueless as to where to go and what to do...
The contact for the special missions seems to be located in the back of Atlas City Hall, almost directly behind Sunburst (from a leaked screenshot). See if he's there (I'm at work so cant check myself)
Any word on where the villain contact is? (since this is the CoV board...)

The ferry is broken on Virtue in Cap Au Diable.
What does this mean? Probably that you'll use the Ferry to get to the event.
What does this also mean? Anyone not in a villaingroup with base teleporters can't get past Cap until it's fixed.

My ferries are broken in every zone.
I am also using ferries without any problems on protector
darn. it starts today? i blew through all my brownie points with my wife last night (was on the computer when she walked in the door, i was just gonna lvl and log really quick, i promise).
looks like i will just have to go in debt.
I had the forethought to seek out the helicopters on Test last night. This morning I parked my toons near those locations in preparation. Now if I can just get my toddler to go to bed early tonight...

Now the real question is - exactly where do the Helicoptors take you 
No, it's 'where are the hellecopters'- we can figure the rest out then.
As opposed to playing "Wheres the holliday content". ;p
Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but if the content -is- on now, I can't see it winning any points with casual gamers. And if it's -not- on yet... isn't it getting a little late on the 15th? ^^;

well its super lame of you to post something like that and not say where the freaking helicopters are...
hope your toddler starts cutting a tooth!
As soon as I get the patch downloaded, I'll go on my Flying Blaster and search all around. After all, it can be hard to miss a big giant helicopter.
The choppers don't seem to be working, at least on the CoH side. I've hit the ones in Atlas (near City Hall), Steel (Near Yellow Line) and Talos (near PI). I haven't tried CoV side yet.
That's the problem.. noone can FIND them in CoV side, probably because the 'Black Helicopters' are littered all over the place so there aren't any new ones to find. The CoH locations were leaked, but not the CoV side. And those who may know, are holding on to the info probabaly out of some childish need for dominance.
Frustrating in the least.
In CoH, there are helicopters in:
Atlas Park - near Ms. Liberty
Steel Canyon - dunno
Talos - Near the two ferries.
My arcs are constantly shifting, just search for GadgetDon for the latest.
