To all you humbuggers out there, Free Stuff = Good. They didn't have to do anything at all.

I guess I am wondering what happens after the holidays...

DO WE KEEP THE HAT FOREVER?

WILL IT COST US THOUSANDS of PRESTIGE TO CHANGE IT BACK?

I think the issue stems from this:

"At his bidding, villains will soon begin to creep towards the peaceful streets of Paragon City, ..."

Which is part of the mailing. When the mission finally goes live, we are sent to a cargo ship to click on presents.

There's a pitiful story lead-in, and no story follow up.

This isn't a [censored], this is feed back:

A better story aurrounding it would be better. Something to get us caught up in it. More than one mission would have been a good idea. An entire arc wouldn't have been too much more trouble. And at the end of everything, there should be a hook to let us know more is comming, or a conclusion.

I guess waht also compounds the disappointment is their past successes. There are some great arcs in the game that make you feel involved and that yo uaccomplished something. Also, I took part in the first Halloween event, and that was great! I missed the holiday event last year, so I can't comment on that. But so far, this one's a little disappointing in comparison. We *KNOW* they can do so much better. We've *SEEN* it. That's why we're disappointed. It's like trying to new dish at your favorite restaurant, only to find it bland.

We know you can do better Cryptic! Please don't disappoint us, the 19th!

This would be really awesome to do... IF THE SERVERS EVER COME UP!!!

Its not over. Maybe whatever is supposed to happen on the 19th actually involves more about "Creeping towards Paragon City".

And I would love it if we got to actually smack around the "Gamester"... with a name like that, you know he needs it.

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.

I would not call todays thing an event by any stretch...

It was simply a short, simple mission that takes a few minutes

Well heck. Not quite what I was hoping for considering the way it sounded in the e-mail.

But I guess in the end, it is free stuff. And everyone loves free stuff!

Woot Cuppa posted on my post also lol

Hurry, someone rate this thing for me

Has anyone found the Helicopters?

So... what happened to "sneaking onto the peaceful streets of paragon" exactly? That actually sounded fun...

Still love the hat though

It'd also be fun if they changed the corruptor SCOURGE popup text to SCROOGE for the duration of the event.

Anyone know how long we get to keep the hat?

Ok, I did the mission in Mercy, and I'm a lvl 12. Where do I find the nearest tailor? Will he give me my hat? Thanks.

I'm actually really glad it wasn't free for all PvP in all the zones...I'm just not into PvP, I think it sucks.

However, the buildup was NOT equal to the event thus far.

BUT! Free stuff is always cool, and the jetpacks just rock out loud. Even if you're a lvl50. They're just sweet.

I wait with heady anticipation for the Gamester's arrival, and the hope that he gives us more than one mission. Or, that the contact gives up a new mission for each day until the 19th.

And that they make my mudpots autohit again.

Basically too many 50's to count, but I'm generally a brute/scrapper/tank kind of guy.

Dear Santa,
Please add the new holiday content to test server.

It's not too bad for free stuff, IMO. The mission was interesting enough without being too difficult and I'm such a badge hog that I like that part. The only thing I didn't like is the Santa hat makes my female toons look bald underneath.
