I totally agree..upon 50, no one wants to do anything (or for that matter the mid-40s you are the brdidge)..can't tell you how often after I accept a team invite I am told not to fight but the tank will go and get xp for us, even when I was 1 level below the tank. At one point, I dropped off a team and the lead was incredulous like why wouldnt I want the xp?..weird... so to me, I look forward to almost anything that would enable play at 50

So many ppl are wondering when I5 comes, what will they do? So many ppl that have lvl 50 toons are wondering the same thing. When the answer is simple. Keep playing different toons from all the different AT's; get involved in each ones story arc and ride the lighting until your lvl 50 with em. Get involved with an SG that has events to add another lvl to your gaming experience if you maxed out all your toons.
It isn't hard to keep this game interesting people. Get creative. I have said this before in other topics, who knows what I6, or I7 may bring. I5 doesn't mean this game will stay that way forever. If your truly a fan of super heroes and truly a fan of this game, you'll find a way to make it enjoyable no matter what changes come. Personally, I play a blaster, and getting 500% damage boost when im almost dead is not that great a change. If I5 requires me to team more to keep my defense up, then so be it.
I keep hearin these issues about I5, an no where are these changes that are being bashed upon posted anywhere on this site; nor is there any admin claiming these changes are taking place. People say, well go on the test server and see for yourself. But just because something is being tested on the test server, that doesnt mean it will make it to the final release. People need to relax about I5. Wait to see what it's really like before you make your complaints. Or how about this, just enjoying the game for what it is...a game.
Yes, I've hear I5 was coming out "soon" but when exactly is "soon", my blaster could really use the extra hp...let me know plz...thanks

Aptly named, many players dread seeing all the nerfage and reduction in fun that this Issue is going to bring.

LOL, I left WizKids MechWarrior after 3 years for the same things this game is experiencing with i5, constant nerf-age and a disregard for player sentiment... sigh.
But the funny thing was the name of the expansion that broke the camels back for me seems remarkably close to "Forest of Dread", it was called "Age of Destruction". So I'm calling this i5 mess "Age of Dread".
Travel Suppression is this game's worst feature, well that and MetaHumans riding mass transit like tourists at DisneyLand.

I have to agree here. I myself don't get a lot of time to check out what's being put on these forums to read about the changes being made... But I hear all kinds of complaints in game. I myself, am not sure how to handle the changes that were mentioned about my toons. On one hand, it sounds good, on another it sounds like I'll have to make a few changes to my game style or enhancements.
Personally, I'll give it a good go before I start complaining... After it's official release.

Probably not for some time yet. They still need to test a lot of things (the new TF being one), and there are plenty of bugs to work out.
While they've released buggy issues before, I think this can be safely said to be "game-breaking".

That is what I find annoying is the fact that they talk about Issue #5 all over the website as of 3 weeks ago, than about a week ago they add advertisement for it to the Launcher with "Coming Soon"... That to me was just sort of a slapin the face cause it's still not 'Live". I have played many an MMO and found that this is usually a "ploy" to just keep people around and keep peoples hopes up that something cool is coming and is in the works to be out soon. It's pretty frustrating and rather dishonest in my opinion when it'd be just as easy for them to say. "Well, looks like we should have things pretty well ironed out around the 1st week of September" or heck why not just leave the *Bleep!* ads for Issue #5 on the website rather than on the launcher until it's actually going to be "coming soon" rather than WEEKS away?
I am on my first character with CoV pretty much. Lvl 16 so it's not like i've been waiting for months as a lvl 50 a couple times over waiting for something new to just keep logging on to see that it's not patching yet. I just know that it's got to be frustrating for those that are wanting this new issue and having to keep waiting until who knows when. Oh yeah, I know who knows, or has SOME idea. The devs but they aren't sayinhg Eh? 
Seems to be rather cruel to move ads to the launcher and still just put coming soon...people say that ALOT and the word soon can mean different things depending on your point of view. Gamer vs Developer.
Anyway, I am really enjoying the game and all the differences there are to all the other MMO's i've played. I just hope the way they "advertise" the new content and drag it out for long periods of time isn't "normal" I don't know how it worked when they came out with the previous issues. I like the names they give the patches/updates. hehe Issues is just cool
I'm not complaining about I5 at all, the tank nerf doesn't really bother me that much
The only thing I don't like is the Nova nerf... I love my Nova =P

Nyah! It's the 30th! Tomorrow is the 31st! Is this coming out in August or not?
Im no exceptional character and are still waiting to get a prime at 50... but i would imagine that it would be hard to let go of this game that easy after that achievement. Iwould continue- in my opinion.... but as u said early.... the choice is ur owns...
