We started this group about one day into release. It started off as a group of tabletop roleplayers who knew each other in real life and were all starting to play City of Heroes.
Our small group is a set of dabblers - we enjoy PvE, badging, PvP, and light RP. Some of us participate happily in more complicated RP plots as well. We have a fabulous base, and for the number of actual real people, we're rising toward the top 100 at a fairly good pace.
We have a corresponding Villain group called The Path - we use the same boards.
We have teamspeak. (And we use it!)
It's a very small set of actual players though, we're just horrible altaholics.
Previously, this group was mostly just this small set of Real Life People - but we're fun, we're experienced, and we enjoy teaming, meeting people, and we have a lot to offer in terms of experience, as well as a very well-stocked base. (All beacons, Autodoc, very close to Combat Logs, SO storage by origin, both third-tier empowerment stations, IO invention table and Invention Salvage vault, etc.)
I'm also interested in entering Coalition with other similar Supergroups, largely for team/TF forming purposes.

Guild Description: Formed in May 2007, Frontline is a relatively new coalition of veteran superheroes, many of whom have been playing City of Heroes since release. The advent of Issue 9: Breakthrough inspired many of these heroes to return to Paragon City, where they discovered that the Supergroups to which they once belonged were not the same. In an effort to establish a new "home," the returning heroes created a new organization, Frontline.

It was during a time of heroic revival that a chance reunion of old friends brought about a new paranormal organization. These four principles are the basis of the Silver Guard. Less an organized super-force and more a cooperative team of equals, the Guard is dedicated to fighting for right and justice in Paragon City. Each member fights that battle in their own way - the Guard's function is to provide support, knowledge and camaraderie rather than to give orders.
The Silver Guard is an RP-based supergroup, oriented towards heroes (not anti-heroes) who are looking for a group that's more family than super powered army. We're justifiably proud of what we've build - a team with 50+ members who support each other both on and off the battlefield. Our primary focus is the role-playing aspect, as we are in character most of the time, though when the Guard Steamroller gets going we plow plenty of missions under as well. While we never have a problem with helping new players learn the game's ropes, a point of pride is that our membership is fairly intelligent, so you can trust the people who are fighting at your side. We believe in fair play, having fun, being social, trust and friendship.
We're an older group, fast approaching our second anniversary and have the usual fully stocked base, a global channel and one of the largest and most active coalitions on Virtue - the Shield of Paragon. We run frequent events - weekly meetup nights, plus our current Task Force Blitz marathon and the usual host of less consistent outings.
In action, our approach is simple: we have few requirements save that you're an active member, that you're intelligent and that you're there to have fun. There are no prestige requirements, nor is there a great amount of bureaucracy - promotions are based solely on being a good leader and activity, and our team relies on the idea that we are all intelligent, capable heroes who work alongside each other rather than an army to be ordered and led. We even have foregone a group uniform, preferring to let each member express themselves with the silver and blue in their own way, when they feel.

Where once N.P.I. stood to gain equal ground and secure a future for just Mutants, the Templars now seek to maintain that same goal for all Metahumans everywhere , while maintining law and order protecting the City and society that has become their home!

Greetings all. I am Azi'Kia EiLova here to explain the History of our School. As mentioned previous our school is almost 600 years of age, and this is how:
The Midnight Magic Academy was put together in 1411 by our founding Wizard and Witches in the now called, United States. They created it not just to teach the knowledge of the Witchcraft and Wizardry, but as a place for Safe Haven. They thought of this land as "The Land in which no man has touched." No white, black, Spanish, nor any other of the countires had discovered this land. They built a school in the middle, which was as long as 110 School buses and as tall as the Rocky Mountains. They did not have to hide there magic from anyone for another 81 years. Once Columbus sailed and found the United States, they were forced to use all of there magic to hide the School. No man could see nor touch this school, only witches and wizards could. They created it like a portal from the earth to their school. The School has stayed the same since that day. THe condition is still very well, considering nothing can destroy such a huge building that cant be seen nor touched. We are the new generation of magic and we look over this school with our lives...*Bowing her head Down*...considering the others who hid it sacrificed theres.

OOC Group Description: A RP/RP friendly supergroup for national icons/national personifications, sort of like a heroes version of The United Nations or The League of Nations. Background:
The Prelude to Justice began as part of Halorins stipulation to work as a hero in Paragon City rather than face time in prison for his exploits as a cat burglar. The group would be a government funded entity and would conduct itself as a task force against crime throughout Paragon City. The group also, however, acted as a collective of covert agents that would carry out assignments for the benefit of the governments interests. These assignments are strictly confidential and all knowledge of the Preludes actions would become disavowed should they become public. With Halorins recent return to Paragon City, the government has expressed interest in reforming the group.
Out of Character Information:
The idea behind the Prelude is to create a group of heroes that lead a triple life. They have their personal lives. They have their life as a hero, and they also have the life of a government agent. Think the Avengers meets Mission Impossible, and you have an idea of the groups intent.
We are a medium to heavy roleplaying group who intends to conduct storylines on our website.
What We Are Looking For:
Were looking for active players who can play at a consistent time. Were looking to grow through quality over quantity, so we fully intend to be a small group at the start and slowly expand from there. We look to recruit players who agree with that philosophy. Were looking for team players, and people who want to contribute to the group through roleplay and advancement in the game.
The Prelude is a modern era group, and in that regard were looking for modern era heroes. A good word to describe the nature of the Prelude is realistic. In that, a medieval knight who time travelled to the present may not be a good fit for the Prelude, as were looking for each character in the group to relate to each other on some level. Not to say that we dont want any stand out characters, but if you were looking for a specific theme to match your own thats not in the modern category, the Prelude may not be the group for you.
Were looking for players to commit to the character they have in the Prelude. There will be an Affiliate bracket for alternate characters that are seldom played, but look to have players use characters that they will play on a fairly consistent basis. We want you to tell a story about your character, and we want the Prelude to be part of that story.
Applying to Join the Prelude:
Applicants will go through a one week application process before they officially become agents in the Prelude. We have a Recruit bracket that you will be invited to join, in which you will be in the Supergroup and will be able to chat with the members of the Prelude and interact with them. We do this to ensure that the Prelude is a good fit for you and that you are a good fit for the Prelude.

At the moment we have no rules, regulations, meetings, SG colors, etc. I would like those things to be developed by the membership. We have a very small base with a Rez Ring, 1 Telepad (currently set to Kings Row for easy access to Yellow Line and Pocket D), and an invention table.
As the SG grows, we can decide if we want to have meetings, plan TFs, set rules, etc. This is starting off as a free form SG, you can do as you please, when you like. Even if you are the type that mostly solos you would still have access to the Telepad for zone hopping, you could rez in the base for quick access back to your mish, or even the often used sg calling, gotta go excuse to get out of a bad PuG.
But rest assured, you will *never* be required to do anything. No demands that you join a certain group, or drop everything and go to a meeting, or play in SG mode for the prestige. Decisions will be made by the group, and anything involving base expansion and/or prestige means that the more prestige that you generate, the more of a say so you have in how its used. From level 1-24 playing in SG mode has no impact so it only makes sense to generate it through those levels, after that its an individual decision.
So if youd like to join an SG with all of the benefits, but none of the restrictions, send a tell to @SkyRocker and come grow with us and make War and Peace the SG that you WANT it to be.

(IC) The Justice Guard is the re-emergance and reorganization of one of Paragon's earliest premier SuperGroups. Sole remaining original member, Liberty Guard, and his close associate, Cap'tain Amazing have breathed life anew into the organization after a solid defeating of Lord Recluse's latest attempt at world domination. It's purpose, to provide a direct secondary option in threat response should the Freedom Phalanx be unable to attend to a given crisis. Founded by three RL friends of long standing, TJG is a Medium RP centered supergroup focused on characters and mutual character development, fun (paramount), and a feeling of family.
We're a returning name to the skies of Paragon, but membership has grown at a fair pace and now with a medium but still growing membership we're settling down to not only focus on each other's enjoyment and experience both IC and OOCly, but on the development of our SG resources and activities. A new web page is currently under construction with open forums and the like at The Justice Guard's website and we encourage any to come and say hello! Just two really...don't be a tool, and treat your SG-mates with respect.
Having said that, if you stay in SuperGroup mode untill level 25, it would be greatly appreciated.
It costs you nothing, and helps the SG out a lot.
Once you hit 25, however, I would advise moving out of SG mode as it begins to make your wallet suffer from that point on.

The International Superheroes League is a group consisting of heroes treasured by their respective country from different parts of the world. The group's main purpose is to destroy villain armies and organizations which threatens the whole world by invasion or destruction, such as the Rikti, Arachnos and Nemesis. The secondary purpose is to learn from each other's culture, history and tradition for betterment of understanding and communication. The group and it's base are possible through a combined fund from each of the representative's participating government. Thus far, the I.S.L. has representatives from America, Philippines, Ireland, Great Britain, China, and more.

OOC, What is MGFU: Magical Girls Friendship Union is a casual roleplay group themed around Magical Girls, as in the kind one might see in Japanese comics and animation. Membership is tiny at the time of writing, but if you have an alt or want to make a toon that is Sailor Moon themed, think about us. Activity is of course encouraged, but we're trying to keep a casual, pressure-free attitude, so don't be afraid to join if you're just making a silly weekend alt.
The only sticking point is that we require your character to be something that could pass as a Magical Girl. That means your character needs to be female, be fairly young, have a somewhat appropriate costume, and have a magic origin. Some exceptions can be made.

(IC) The Justice Guard is the re-emergance and reorganization of one of Paragon's earliest premier SuperGroups. Sole remaining original member, Liberty Guard, and his close associate, Cap'tain Amazing have breathed life anew into the organization after a solid defeating of Lord Recluse's latest attempt at world domination. It's purpose, to provide a direct secondary option in threat response should the Freedom Phalanx be unable to attend to a given crisis. With both being members, and having a direct connection with local law enforcement via a third founding member, ArchStrike, The Justice Guard serves to bulwark the defense of the innocent....in Paragon and the rest of the world.

Founded by three RL friends of long standing, TJG is a Medium RP centered, Bronze and Iron Age supergroup focused on characters and mutual character development, fun (paramount), and a feeling of family.
We're a returning name to the skies of Paragon, but membership has grown at a fair pace and now with a medium but still growing membership we're settling down to not only focus on each other's enjoyment and experience both IC and OOCly, but on the development of our SG resources and activities. A new web page is currently under construction with open forums and the like at The Justice Guard's Website and we encourage any to come and say hello! We've a functional and expanding base with Medical, storage, Teleport and Invention capabilities that, while still in a transitional state, hopefully will become not only an expression of the SG, but the input of it's members.
We're an inclusive group. Rper?....great. PvPer?...great. Just like to grind missions?....great. Our overriding goal is to supply a invested, interesting, involved and integral membership with the tools and opprotunities to not only enjoy and express their characters to the fullest, but to explore them, evolve them, and come away feeling like more than just a name on a roster. Quality and [u]active[u] members are our goal, not just large numbers, for the better interactiveness of all of us.
At present there is no costume requirement, nor are members "required" to remain in SG mode at all times but it is requested that one does to help assist us in upkeeping a base that's both functional and complete for the enjoyment and convenience of everyone. As our experience together evolves, so might our needs but with communication and the investment of energy of our members, we're sure to come to terms with any changes, post haste.
With a focus on fun, character development, and the unity that is fundamental to a sense of family, the Justice Guard opens it's doors to any who would answer the call!
