Leaders: the i5 Alts of VoodooCompany, BoneBaby, Me and a guy that goes by the name "Z."
What gets you in: If you created a new alt around the time i5 came out, been around the block before, don't have an sg, and like to run missions, look us up.
What kicks you out: Being a selfish, arrogant, piggish, wacko nut-job. Basically if you are here to enjoy the game, don't worry about it. If you are a dumb jerk...fahgeddabodit.
What not to expect from us: A website, sg 1337ism, PLing...basically anything that takes time and too much work for our lazy selves to find worth doing.
So, why do we exist: A lot of online friends of ours have recently created new alts, and I'm sure a lot of you that haven't met us yet who are reading this have to. Most of our lowbies don't have an sg yet and like to run missions. We're hoping this sg makes it easier for those who join to find other experienced players of similar level to team up with and enjoy the game.

The Skinny on the Group...
1. Here for you to find people to team and mish with.
2. A place that also welcomes you to do your thing and SOLO to your hearts content without fear of pressure to run for the SG.
3. A place for those who feel lost without a group to belong to or just a place to come and hide in.
4. Lastly I want the SG to be a place where members can ask questions and get help from fellow players to help them enjoy the game.

It's important to me to have harmony in the group and to handle any issues as quickly as I can.

The key thing I want everyone to understand about this group is yes its fun to watch people Level but we are not going to be here to Power Level everyone. We are here most of all to Have Fun and to do your thing.
I don't mind that members help others to Power Level just don't except it as a norm of the SG.
For no particular reason, our i5 alts sg "Mental Misfits" has been newly renamed to "Supa Dupa Crew." I guess people weren't mental enough...we're hopin with this slick new label we'll finally be able to take over the world.

Bio/Back-story of Duo :
Amber Thessalault (Circus Amber) and Jacques Petit(Midway Barker) were two highly trained circus performers who were taken in and brainwashed by the Carnies for their criminal activites. Defeated during a hero raid on their Carnie compound, they were set free from the mental shackles which enslaved them and immeditely registered as heroes to try to make up for the crimes they had been duped into. Fighting crime as the duo 'Legal Circus', the two also seek to educate the populace about the Carnie threat while seeking to reverse the PR damage done to their beloved circus industry.
The above is our entry into the duo contest thread today. But while we're at it, Legal Circus seeks to recruit other former circus folks turned superheroes. We are a laid back group who take crimefighting seriously, but just about nothing else. Hey everyone - The League of Angry Dudes (L.O.A.D.) is once again recruiting on the Victory server. We are looking for mature players who are interested in getting together to help each other level up, nab badges, and share in some good natured comradery.

We are a group of RPG vets who are fans of TSR's Gamma World paper and pencil RPG. Most of our toons are CoH versions of GW characters from a long-running GW campaign that dates back to 1982. (Like I said, we're RPG vets)
Zeb Cook, one of the CoH/CoV devs, did a number of GW-related projects for TSR, and the quality of his work shows here. Gamma World is a post-apocalyptic RPG populated by mutants with amazing powers. The first time I fought a troll in Boomtown, I knew that CoH was as close as we'd ever get to GW online.
Our membership requirements? Well, that's a tough one. Pretty much, we have to like you, trust you, and not think you're a tool. If we get to know you, and we like you, we'll invite you.

Is your Villain group shrinking by the day? Are you having a hard time finding villains you feel you can *trust* to team up with? Do you get really excited when you finally see some light blue text fly across your chat channel only to realize that you accidentally typed it yourself? If you answered yes to any of these questions then contact us.
Our group, the Demented Minds, has been around before CoV ever exsisted and we are a steadfast Villain Group. We have established a tiny sized group at this point, but still have lots of room for growth. What we are looking for are a few evil members that have fun attitudes. We are more concerned with how you are as a person as opposed to how you are in levels. We want quality people with a good sense of humor (this is a must, we have way too many people who like to joke around playfully in our group and hardcore "serious" players will be turned off by this).
If you have a strong aversion to debt, this is not the group for you. Although we're competent players, we frequently like to get a little crazy and do things that usually end up in multiple face-plants. We try to maintain a nice balance between competent play and total silliness. We'll finish the mission, but we don't mind dying a few times along the way.
We use TeamSpeak quite a bit. It's certainly not required, but you will miss out on a lot of our conversations if you don't use it. However, we do have some people that don't use it at all, and some that use it just to listen.
We range in all levels. We are on the Victory Server. We do not restrict by age, but most of our players are in their early 20's to mid 30's so understand that a lot of our conversations include adult content and situations. We do not restrict by nationality. Some of our members play during the afternoon U.S. CST and a good chunk of the others play in the evenings to midnightish U.S. CST. A lot of us play on weekends at all hours of the day & night. We also have organized Villain Group Contests, Missions and Strike Forces.
Here's a rundown of what we really are....
* We DON'T power level. We are not totally against it, but don't bother asking for it either.
* We are NOT in a race to level 50. This is a marathon, not a sprint, we'll get there some day.
* We are NOT in any direct competition with any other Villain group, yet. Though we are starting to compile a list of possiblities.
* We are looking for people who can become friends, hangout, sit back and enjoy the game.
* We talk, we drink, we smoke, we talk, we swear, we curse, we talk, we dance, we joke, we talk, we play, we sing, we talk, we tell stories, we listen, we socialize, we talk a lot.

We all realize that finding a good Villain Group can be the difference between liking the game and loving the game. We also realize that one size does not fit all. We may or may not be the right group for you. If we sound like the type of group you might like to join, we'd love to hear from you. Generally, we will invite you to a team so we can get to know each other. As long as there are no glaring problems, we're usually happy to offer an invitation. However, we consider this to be a trial period for both sides. If, after a while, you decide we're not the right group for you, there will be no bad feelings if you decide to look elsewhere. The Clan of the Black Lotus- a 2 year old PVP gaming guild- is forming a new Supergroup of villains, scum and carebear hero bashers on the Victory server.
Want to learn how to PVP with the pros? Want to learn how to level a toon to 20+ in less than a week without exploiting? Are you SERIOUS about being a gamer and an adult in your behavior? This is the guild for you then.
Be part of an old time gaming guild, with more than 25 active players moving to Victory once COV goes live. We are SERIOUS pvp'rs and plan to pillage and pound do gooding heroes to the dust with an RP flavor to it.
Requirements: MUST have teamspeak, be team oriented and a willingness to work with others. If you are serious about being a PVP villain then beleive me this is the guild for you. We have a full guild charter and stick by those rules. We are organized with regular PVP and PVE Strike Force guild events. We also welcome both male and female players as we have both in guild.

The Jedi Knights Templar will be opening up our CoV equivalent soon after launch under the name The Sith Lords Templar.
Please note that we're NOT a themed SG. Our name is a legacy from our origins in Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy. The new villain name is simply the mirror image of the hero group, so it's a fitting name.
We're recruiting across all ATs: hero and villain. Our only criteria is that one be over the age of 18, a genuine and friendly player that's eager to get along with others (i.e. no immature, whiny players, please), pro-active, and a talented gamer (or at least moderately skilled... the rest we can beat into ya 
).
We have a Ventrilo server that's open for use, as well as SG forums and a website.
