See I told you the game would shut down without a decent PVP game.
No one listens. -

We are bigger than ever. I'm just hanging out here until another game which I decline to mention launches.
Besides the F2P stuff is pretty limited. No forums posting etc etc. -
It gives people that played this game another opportunity to start up some drama.

Nurse Ratched. Oh yah shes a bad one.

The Alien gets my vote for Halloween, what's yours?

So I"ve been doing tips and missions and whatnot, levelling up toons, and I have to say you guys must really hate Overdrive.
I mean, rob a bank, you kill Overdrive. Run a mission tip or TOT mission, you kill Overdrive. Need a new flunky? Hey, no problem, go tee off on Overdrive.
Maybe it's the luck of the draw, but it seems to me, Overdrive sure takes it in the collective shorts a lot. -
So I decided to have some fun- and rolled my Widow as an Alien. It's still a work in progress to get the look right, and still can't get the head right:
But I'm also looking for other cloaker/stalker classes to do a costume like an Alien and join me in the BLC over here in COH. Only must have is a cloak or some sort and an Alien costume, redside.
Very casual, some PVP and group stuff. Want to build a semi RP Alien guild here. If interested contact me preferably by email first @Baron55.
I have the basics in a base up and running, and can supply a Ventrilo when needed.
Let me know. -
What I'm saying is that Ham is right, its annoying as hell during a run to have to deal with people messing up the spawn or jumping in without asking for an invite.
But its kind of expected in an MMO, and no need to e-rage about it on the forums. It's going to happen every time some sort of badge or loot is involved. -
The amount of misinformation in this thread is thicker than the spew from Congress these days.
And get it right- its BLC. -
Quote:As a newly returning player I'm loving Praetoria so far but I gotta say that in the teens my impression is that the Praetorian bad guys seem harder than the normal blue side or red side bad guys.
Of course it could just be the ATs and powersets I have been using in Praetoria to this point (mostly corruptors), but some of those villain groups are just plain nasty. Their damage types are quite varied, and they have a lot more special abilities than most of the old school groups.
In particular I have a very hard time with any orange clockwork lieutenants (menders and dismantlers) and some of the syndicate boss types. I find myself having to down rows of pills to beat a single orange lieutenant.
Still, I love the Praetorian story arcs so far and I have a lot of difficulty going back to the old school blueside missions that make you run all over the place before you get a travel power (kill 20 CoT in Perez Park, etc). I think I'll likely start most of my characters either in Praetoria or Mercy.
Try adding in a lot of accuracy to your build. Does wonders against orange's and above- particularly with ranged. -
Well yes, Stalkers are a class really designed with PVP in mind- problem is that the game has only limited PVP so what do you do with a Stalker?
It's a conundrum.
Personally, I've found Stalkers to be excellent cleanup killers in group and missions. The stalker either can systematically eliminate lower mobs that spawn in or act as burst DPS to finish off the boss. They have to be careful though not to draw boss aggro off the tank. A good ranged AOE works fine for cleanup, but too much aggro can kill them too quickly.
As for missions, stalkers REALLY can do them fast. Load up a bunch of red inspirations, fly to the end and one hit the boss. I used set the difficulty really high and do that and level super fast. You can one or two hit purple bosses or elites (not STF elites) this way.
A good stalker tactic in missions, and one I use, is actually keeping a boss controlled through states. For instance, if you rotate your Flying dragon, Butterfly and then add in Air Superiority (and stack for knockback/down/up) you can keep a boss flying up in the air and off their feet for some time before they can hit you.
It really works pretty well in PVP too against multiple targets that maybe aren't properly specced for defense- take out your first target with the two shot shuffle, then keep your second target flying around on their ar-se as you erode their HP.
Anyway, you're right about stalkers not being a first choice on many group efforts, but as far as most missions go, stalkers are the best as it.
Except kidnap missions. Ugh. -
Alvery had definitely one of the most themed character/content toons of the females.
But I still hate the French.
Gratz to Alvery. -
Tweeter and Squeaker
Tweedledum and Tweedledumber
Bubble and Squeak
Hammy and Sammy
PVP and PVE (PeeVeePee and PeeVeeEee) -
Anyone have a villain Redside that I can invite to my Supergroup so they can invite my remaining toons and new rolls into it?
No one left in my old Supergroup, but the base is there and I'd like to keep working on it, while I level up new toons.
Contact me @Baron55.
Really appreciate it....thanks. -

I always used the name Baroness Hotbox in every MMO played, named after the old GI JOE Baroness character. I've always had a thing for chicks in black cat suits, like Emma Peel from the old Avengers, the Baroness etc.
In SWG, I got another player REALLY mad at me so they reported the name, and a GM came on, who was friends with the offended player, and made me change it. I came up with a new one on the spot- Inveigle or Inviegle, which means to tempt or lie with words, which I thought was appropriate.
It's stuck with me since 2004.
