WonderCon

No chance you guys will be driving through Kansas and will want to stop by my place for a pizza, huh? Or if you don't like pizza, we can get Chinese...or BBQ? I've got a grill!
Also nice to see you adopted the winning entry of the Statesman avatar contest as your avatar. Looks great.
LESS CONVENTIONS AND MORE CONTENT!!!!! You can go have fun after we get more fun!! MORE WORK less TRAVEL!
In todays lesson, the little child moist learns the concepts of "promotion" and "marketing."

Any chance we can get ya to come out to Memphis, TN for the MidSouthCon April 1-3?
No one ever comes to Memphis...

I'm in Utah. We don't even have a good Anime convention here!
Still here, even after all this time!
Go back into your hole lapdog. The marketing of this game is best with word of mouth. Many people rather see in game content then know that the Lead designer is running around to conventons. After many months now the "fun" and "COOL" factor is wanning.
What amazing info will Jack say at a comic book convention except "i can't go into that" and "skuls"

Check out his only other post (at this time). An admitted power leveller complaining about a lack of content at level 50. Whaaaaaaaa.

I bet Jack is doing all the number crunching and programming on a day-to-day basis too...oh noes...this'll delay Issue 4 even more!
Any chance you will be at Origins over the Holiday weekend (30th June-3rd JULY).

Boy, I tell ya. I read the first post, expect to see a few "why can't it be my town" comments, and then not even four posts down there's some lunatic raving about how the devs making con appearances somehow detracts from the game. Eesh. Like the people involved aren't spending enough time developing CoH already.
Anyway, wish I could make it. Haven't been to San Fran in awhile, and I miss Northern California in general. That and, as someone already mentioned, the Midwest is a pretty bad place to look for big comic conventions.

Yup. And the Polar Interweb, too.
I can download my icefishing photos to my friends!
Hmm.. Seeing as how this date is so close to this convention Megacon
I'm guessing the east coast gets no love

I have a few canucks in my SG. I was wondering how they were logging on. I assumed it had something to do with penguins, backpacks, and a transmitter. Thanks for the update!
I'm still waiting to find out if States will be at E3 this year

After reading the other post, there is nothing I can add as an opinion of him that doesn't include screaming, bashing my head against my desk and frothing at the mouth.

Well there is Wizard World in Chcago first weekend in August this year. Pretty good con, and I met States there last year. So the Midwest is not a total wash for conventions.

Actually most of the IT for the states is done in Canada, 'cause the peguins work for next to nothing.

that's right, especially since all we have to do is let the Penguins out for lunch and they catch their own food. No overhead!
The Huskies for the Dog Sleds are a different story....
