Interesting since this code does not seem to be working correctly. I know of at least two mini arcs (not the ones you get suviners for) I have repeated on my scrapper (one in the low 20s and one in the low 30s). I recognized both of these arcs when I started them, yet the computer made me repeat the same set of missions (one of them involves the intelligent AI).
Since my scrapper rarely groups I know both of these mission sets came from my own contacts. In fact at one point I seemed to have two instances of the same mini arc open at the same time.
Hmm, I'll bet this bug is why I am missing two of the mission badges, despite doing every mission I was offered (I have never outleveled a contact, before running out of missions). I bet the computer gave me the same set of missions to rerun, instead of the badge missions it should have given me.

Just killed him last night. Got my SO reward, and a badge for killing him, but NO Badge for finishing the Numina TF. None of us in the group got it.
Possible notes:
1. one of us leveled to 39 during the TF (but was 38 when TF was started)
2. Several of us dropped and came back in due to crashes and disconnects.

Yeah, I just did Numina TF last night too. We all got the Jurassik badge as well as the SO, but no TF badge. I also don't think I got an xp reward other than the mission complete.

Here are a few things I noticed that were unusual:
1. The badge was awarded upon returning to the contact after mission complete. I exemplared one other mission with the same guy and we both our badges upon objective completion (he didn't have to return to his contact). Maybe there is some issue with a badge that is awarded by the contact.

I petitioned but have still got no real human response other than email that says "we are working on your issue", which is frustrating because I am becoming a real badge fiend and I have no more friends left in that level range. This helped me find a bug in Alexander's mission where only the Mission Owner gets the reward. I have fixed this... it will be a while before the fix makes it to Live however.

It appears that the Field Marshal Ruladak Task Force in the Shadow Shard is similarly bugged. A week or so ago I was on a team that did the whole thing, I was there thru the whole TF, and was close to Ruladak when he finally dropped, took us 8 hours, and only the fellow (the great tanker named Impact) who started the TF got the badge.
The entire team got a lvl 53 SO, I did too, it's on my character. But no badge for completing the TF. Is there any hope that I won't have to repeat this long TF someday to get the badge?

Actually, GB, it's a souvenir, not a badge. And over the last few days, a couple other players on the Ruladak TF have gotten theirs too. Check your souvenirs page for "The Legend of Ruladak". Yours might have shown up.

My char on the Protector server has completed the Envoy of Shadows story arc (and has the souvenir to prove it), and yet was not awarded the badge for killing the archvillian in that arc (I believe its called "Demonslayer" or something similar). I am sure other instances of my char not receiving badges have occured since I was pretty thorough when it came to completeing missions (it was all I did until I ran out of missions) but I haven't been keeping track of all the badges yet, I only noticed the Envoy badge bec. a friend of mine had it and told me it was for this arc I had already completed. I haven't also received the #3 TF badge (for the Freakshow TF in IP), but I am assuming its just a delay in datamining...

That's because Envoy isnt the mob that you have to kill to get the badge. The actual mob that needs to be killed to get the Envoy of shadows badge is actually named Baphomet NOT the envoy.
Positron, yesterday I did the Portal mission to attack Oranbegans and received the Frontline badge. However, it was not my mission, it was Shazan on Freedom server's. Shazan did not get the badge, but I did (as Sodoshi).
So things are still a little screwy.
Shazan accused me of stealing her badge! :>

I'm wondering the same thing. I bugged it yesterday since no one in the team I did Synapse with, before Issue 2, has as of yet recieved a badge for it.
We would all really like to have an answer to this.
Okay then something with that is bugged.. what determines who got credit for killing the monster? A teammate of mine found adamastor and sent out a call for heros to help bring him down. I dash across 4 zones to get to him from Perez Park (where i was terrorizing poor lowlevel villains to get those kill badges) and get there right as the action is starting (Ada was almost at full health.) I wait for a group invite.. none is coming.. people start shooting... seems like no blasters in their group MUAHAHAH so i start unloading with my level 32 6 damage slotted Zapp and Lightning bolt.. taking HUGE chunks out of his hide with each blast. All told i think there were around 12 heros in this fight. When Ada went down.. i got 400ish xp and infl.. and no badge. Neither did an ungrouped teammate of mine. But the guy who actually received the "kill credit" for him reported that his whole team got credit. Now i know i dealt at least 1/4 of the damage to kill this beast.. and it SHOULDNT be based on amount of damage done (else tanks/controllers are flat out). However i got no badge.
So if multiple groups are supposed to be able to get credit. Its not working.
Out of curiosity Pos, have you guys finished datamining for TaskForces yet? I am missing some of the early ones (including yours) but have my later ones like talos and FF. If the datamining is not done thats cool, I can wait. Otherwise I'm gonna submit a bug report.

I did the Numina TF the Sunday after Issue 2 went live. I did get the Jurassic badge and the single origin enhancement reward, but did not get the Numina TF badge. I posted it in a message but wanted to mention it here too to consolidate it with all you others. I did bug it and petition it.

Keep CoH unique and fresh....please don't use this horrible, terrible design method

I was killing the kraken and a blaster ks'd me. I got the first blow, and dealt a sizable chunk of damage. He got the badge, I didnt. We were both about 15 levels over the monster (I'm 27, he was 29ish). Perhaps the badge is only awarded to multiple groups if they get exp from the kill, and awarded to the person who deals the majority if no exp is gained?

Badges aren't based on exp. I saw 3 or 4 groups killing the Kraken plus 2 L24s that were there for the badge specifically. They'd all gotten it down to 20% exp when I inadvertently wacked it and killed it.... Everyone there got badges including the L24 defender that was shocked becasue they hadn't done a tremendous amount of damage...
Not sure exactly what the mechanics are, but Kracken gives out badges to just about anyone that participates in the combat... and on top of that it was popping up every 5 - 10 minutes that day, so I saw it 3 or 4 more times in the hour I was hanging out there.
On a side note from mission badges are certain badges even possible atm?
My thoughts drift to Babbage who i've never seen in Boomtown, Jurassik who I've never seen in Crey's Folly, Sky Raider sky skiffs who I didn't even know existed. I've also heard there is a badge for rikti monkies which doesn't seem to appear.
Now for exploration badges last time I went to the hydra the badge for being next to the head didn't seem to be there and I've been told by guild mates that the hydra dimension and black shroud dimension badges don't work.

Pos, what if you're a defender healing/buffing everyone, do you have to make a hit to get badge credit?
The Head of the Hydra appears broken (no dev confirmation though).
The Black Shroud and Hydra Dimenion badges were supposedly fixed just before Issue #2 went live but nobody's located them yet.
Zookeeper is supposedly for the Rikti but nobody has been able to trigger the badge with ANY type of Rikti.
Babbage was removed from Boomtown before Issue #1 due to conflicts with teh Synapse TF spawning.
I suspect this fate may have befallen Jurassik as well since he's a required spawn on the Numina TF.
Sky SKiffs so far have only been spotted on the 24-33 range TV respec trial. Someone mentioned seeing one once in a door mission but nowhere else.
As far as I know the only other badges with problems are the Numina TF badge being awarded properly and Redeemer has a fix in the works for teammates not getting it when the mission is done.
I did my positron TF days after release, right before you guys issued a warning about how TF's where bugged, and I have yet to get that TF badge.
Also not sure if this is a bug or this is what you guys intended, but exemplar does not work on TF's. I thought that was why you put it in, so we could go back and redo TF's we missed cause it was bugged at the time we where leveling.
Also another concern, shouldn't all the peeps that earned the Task force badge with Jurrasic as the last boss, also get the Jurrasic badge? Only makes sense to me, since you would have to defeat him to complete the TF.

Just to add, my TF had the identical problem last night. We all got excited when we received "The Solution" badge for defeating Jurassik, then realized the missions wasn't done. We completed and exited the mission, our TF leader called Numina from Eden, and Task Force Ruby disintegrated as usual without any fanfare. I was kind of expecting a reward selection dialog box similar to when I completed the Path of the Dark storyarc yesterday, but nothing. No badge. No SO (I had a slot open, to be sure). Do not pass Go. Do not collect 200 influence. 
There were several curses of "No badge" in local, and of course, I /bugged and /petitioned it. Definitely a fun TF, but I'm 38 and hope I don't want to have to immediately do it again (before 39) and hope I get a badge this time.

So you can confirm that frontline is an outdoor mission? Can you also confirm that it is in the level 35-40 range? Before issue 2 there were no outdoor missions before the level 40-45 missions. Is it possible that that either,
A: This is a new mission, that was not in the game before issue 2?
B: The mission has been updated, and the update is somehow interefering with the datamine detecting that some of us have completed the old version of it?

I was still getting this one last night. Zoning (or making progress on a badge) caused them to re-appear however.

Hey Pos, can you get rid of the badge in the tutorial zone? I logged in the other night and they actually had badge groups forming. People were complaining about not being able to find any mobs (the defeat 2 and then 4 bad guys);

We are talking about villains that pop every 5 seconds vs one that pops once in a blue moon. No one will get credit besides the lvl 50 blaster that nuked it to neverwhere the minute he tabed into it.
I propose you make all monsters a random rare spawn across outdoor missions. If i go into a Pantheon outdoor mission, give me a chance that Adamastor (or however you type that) will pop in there. Would give outdoor missions an extra spark, since i find them sort of dull right now.
