Unofficial Badge List.

<laughs> well that helps things so positron what is the deal with the history badges...we've found plaques but don't get any badges unless its multiple ones for a single badge. I don't want a hand out but a clue to end some speculation would be nice.

Something for the super-sleuth's out there:
C O C N B Q M R O J E J I S T X B C N O J M X C I Q N C I A G T K G Q L P T

Oh sweet! I lost my office XP key... now I can use Word again!
Vertical alignment does not work. Pity though, some interesting words came up.
Again this pair: COCN BCNO is the problem. I can't find two words that work for that.

I think Positron may have made a tiny error when he posted it.
It should be
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre> COCN BQMR OJEJ ISTX BCNO JMXC IQNC IAGT KGQE T </pre><hr />
Thats assuming it says what I think it does, and yes it does make sense.

care the elaborate? i assume that T is the key starter...trying to remember how this goes
EDIT: GAHm I've been working with this using spacing.
It's in the correct order, Don't get confused by the spacing (I edited that out) They are not all four letter words.
It has no punctuation, but if it did it would read as a normal sentance from right to left.
Tough is gained by taking 100K damage
Indestructable is gained by taking 500K damage

It's in the correct order, it's just that Positron seemed to have made a typo on the last 3 letters, maybe on purpose, whose knows. But the one i posted will give you the answer, when you figure it out.

so what's the answer so I can go back to badge hunting
[ QUOTE ]
Of course, it probably says something like ... "History Badges are not in yet"
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't even know what the code says, but I have to nominate this as the best answer yet

I can't tell you that. I'd just spoil it, besides Cryptography is so much fun! (That and Positron would probably send off on another suicidal "Task Force"...I learnt my lesson the first time....)
But OK, heres a clue. Think about the topic of the code, one of those words is bound to be in there right? Try working through from that.
Well, I give. Without any reasonable clues, I don't even know where to start.
ah well then that would help in not searching though making a list of the plaques in case it is related...not to mention it is actually interesting info
Fools!! None of you have figured it out? It says:
"Drink more Ovaltine".
I'd like to think my secret decoder ring for helping me.
I looked on the internet trying to find the exact decoded message. That would have been funny as hell.
working on this myself, working under the assumption that "B C N O J M X" is "history'. So far it makes the first 2 words "it is" it's working... but I am not so great at this

All right so far. You're almost there.
could you post the last 3 letters how you think they need to be? small help, but helpful none the less

Ok,
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre> C O C N B Q M RO J E J I S T X B C N O J M X C I Q N C I A G T K G Q Q L P T

got it thanks! more help than I expected hehe, just wanted the *fixed* original code
. But yeah, the answer makes perfect sense, even if IT is a little cryptic too heh. Wait... Cryptic? *ponder*
i'm still not getting it and the letters from history and other things aren't lining up for a perfect match of two alphabets moved on each other

That's not the only way to work codes - does your paper carry the cryptoquote thing? Work it like that.
eh, too lazy to make spoiler text here, in another, aptly named thread, the solution is conveyed, if you're that curious about history

Actually he did not make a mistake. You need to expand your vocabulary.
Got it finally... The c*-word is quite difficult if english isn't your native language
Bah, it was right but i made a stupid mistake when trying to work it out, that left me with Q incorrectly crossed off. Oops.
<font class="small">Code:<hr /><pre> C O C N B Q M R O J E J I S T X B C N O J M X C I Q N C I A G T K G Q L P T
