and actually, that mission you are thinking of is "Crazed". If you want to consider them Contaminated you are welcome. They look somewhat alike, but they use more severe attacks, and do way more damage, and attack a lot faster. There's a big difference.

If I am not mistaken, there is a portal mission that has contaminated in it. But that is 40+

There is absolutely no way of knowing if this is needed for accolades now or in possible future accolades as only like 4 accolades have been discovered thus far.

it doesn't exist. It's merely a rumor by someone who has obviously never played the end-game anything.

Contaminated only exist in one place and at one level, Outbreak, and 1. They do not exist at lvl 2, or lvl 3, or in anything but minion form.


The reason is because they suck so hardcore, that if there were lvl 50 contaminated, they would be the easiest XP in the game by far. A controller with 1 slot brawl could **** a mob of them.

Could you imagine if there was? It would be the most farmed mission in the game. Mass pulls of people that shoot one pistol (minor dmg) every 15 seconds? and maybe a blunt object (minor dmg)every 15 seconds?

what a joke that is to even propose.

All I do are story arch missions... you should keep them the way they are. People don't have to complete the story archs just like they don't have to complete the trials or task forces. But if they want the full game experience they should.

I've been thinking the same thing, not so much about the monsters as about the majority of the hazard zone spawn in PP, Faultline, and the Hollows for the first week or two.

One thing I'd like to suggest to hardcore badge collectors is to group up as much as possible--whether that means RSKing and getting the arrests the old fashioned way, or making full groups to decimate the grays you need and get as many badge-hunters out of there as fast as possible.

I've been monster hunting on my home server and on Test, and I'd be glad to invite as many other people as my group could hold when I have the chance to take down one of the prized beasts. I hope others will do the same. Because if we can't be decent to each other, what are we doing playing heroes?

the problem with that is that you need to be in a close proximity to receive team badge XP. It only takes one person to mow through perez or any zone he is 10 or more levels over, so it mitigates the need / reason to have a team when doing so. You don't receive badge XP if you are too far away, but you do if you are close, even if you don't do anything.

For lower level hunting this is great to do in teams, but with the high levels, just stick it out....

IF ANYTHING ITS DOING YOU A FAVOR. I love taking groups on with my lowbies in perez, but [censored] i hate bone daddies and damned.... so it should make things easier

I suppose we'll hear it at first about Babbage since he's so hard to find in Boomtown. However, as people do the Synapse TF and actually fight Babbage there, the demand will lessen. Adamastor and Kraken, on the other hand, are spawn only finds and may result in some shouting matches. People will just have to accept the fact that sometimes they got there too late and someone else is taking care of the monster.

I found adamastor in NE of DA. Me and Black Horse killed him and got the Keeper of Secrets badge.

We looked in Boomtown for Babbage for about 15 minutes in Grenadier Village and then called it quits.

I have never seen him spawn in BT...

just killed some praetorians, no badge xp. Killed a praetorian boss also, and nothing.

that badge must be mislabeled.

Can anyone confirm this? I've run through that thing many many times (died everytime); I've also tried approaching from different sides. I don't see a badge icon under the main Nucleus. I've died about 8 times trying to get this damn badge.

My guess is, when you defeat Hami, you can get it. Much like the Hydra Head badge- need to be on the trial to have a shot at it.

It's not monkeys. Vicious and Wild monkeys do not give the badge. I believe zookeper is for Kraken, which is broken.

Babbage is Babbage is Babbage..... whether he is telepathic or not.

Gearsmasher is for gears, but Clockstopped is supposed to be from a clockwork monster (i.e. - babbage).

Kronos gave a badge both times wekilled him (someone else got it the 2nd time), and it was a different type kronos. But it was still a malta monster, which yields the Master of Olympus badge.

Babbage Badge is broken.

We just killed lvl 50 Monster Babbage (Psychic Clockwork) and didn't receive the Clockstopper badge.

the Slayer badge for Vampyr appears to be about 200 or 300 Vampyr. Minions, LTs, and Bosses count for this.

The Banished Pantheon Spirit Badge is awarded for killing 200 Banished Pantheon Spirit Boses.

Not 100, but 200.

This is only conjecture, but there is a lvl 50 story arch that is a bunch of Supervillains from Praetorian Earth. I presume that with the completion of this arch, one would receive the Vanguard (15th SA) badge.

I don't know if this is bugged or not, but I presumed that any SA that was open to all characters would give a badge of some sort. I did the 30+ mission Crimson Story Arch, and while I did get a badge for killing Kronos, I didn't get one for completing th arch.

What i did get was a lvl 53 SO which is nice... but a badge would have been nicer.

Is this a bug? or does that incredibly long SA just not give a badge?
