Be sure to read the original post. Devs are pretty good about reading alot of posts here, but doing /bug in the game is a better way to report a bug.

Bust Gang Leaders, thier Crews Contact: Andrew Fiore
Ive done the first building for this little Arc, he's telling me to goto the 2nd Building yet he has not given me a location....This mission has been bugged for prolly 2months now and no contact from ingame GM's, I've been sending countless bugg reports about this mission.. First time posting here about it since I am sick of wasting my time waiting on help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking about annoying..............

First off I did a Crey mission from a contact in Bricks...it was go check the buliding of Hicks and something out. It was loacted in DA.

I was a couple levels lower then I am now which would make me 36 at the time. I went half way through this mission and was good xp. Then I started seeing 33 level Crey! I am like what the hell!???! The boss was blue color to me and there was greys next to him.

I took more missions from this guy and it was the same. The last mission from him was Defeat all the Crey in the Lab. Organes, Yellows and Reds til the end of the mission. The boss again was blue and the rest grey!

I did not take these mission prior to me leveling. If I am getting close to level I wait to get in door missions. So it's defintly not me that is causing 33's to be in a level 36 mission or a level 38 mission.

I am seriously thinking this contact missions are bugged. WHY??? Because of this and because of the fact being I had to be level 35 to even get a singal mission from this crey contact in Bricks! I'll log on and find his name and post it here.

Not so much a bug as a request. The sounds that some of the poewers make can be irratating, and while I know Im being very picky here since this is the most awesome game I ever played, I would realy love it if things like targetting drone made noise for about 30 sec when activated then faded. thanks for listening.

I've noticed that I don't get a sound to go along with the animations when popping Dmg or Acc Inspirations, only. I used to, but not anymore.

While hunting last night, both myself and my SG partner noticed that our Hasten icon would refresh to it's full blown color status, as if it's timer had been refreshed.
...yet when we went to click it, the red border would appear around it, and we'd get the message that it still needed to recharge.

Seems the Icon was refreshing faster than the timer was.

Wonder if anyone else had that problem other than us. We were hunting starting in Skyway, then moving onto Perez on the Guardian Server. Character names Lagdeath and Shutdown if that helps.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this bug reported but I just experienced it the first time last night. Not hearing my SLUG shot only the burst.

And the WG's now appear on my target as soon as I toggle it instead of after I throw it.

Regardless...I'm still addicted.

Be sure to read the original post in this thread. I don't think you get a reply when you use /bug. For a problem like the one you were having. you should use /petition. That will alert a GM to come and assist you.

Found some bugs related to the find team members window, mostly once you selected someone to interact with, you could not select anyone else to invite. Also, the filter drop-down list for map location was too long for the window, and hence, you could not access the bottom of the list. Just seemed very buggy each time we tried to use it.

is anyone getting corrupted cohupdate.exe or failed checksum errors at game startup? the game's remedy is to 'fix' the files, which take hours on a dsl connection.

how can the files be corrupted, i uninstalled and re-installed with a fresh copy of the game? eventually i can get back into the game, but an unexpected disconnect (going through a portal or just flying around) will again kick me to the desktop. upon game restart i can guarantee i will see 'cohupdate.exe corrupted' and experience the whole 'checksum error' and 'fixing file piggs/sound1.pigg' sequence all over again. is anyone else experiencing this nightmare?

directX 9.0c
extigy, latest drivers
dsl connection

the game worked fine up to level 6, then i started getting kicked out of the game to my desktop. with a fresh install, why is the updater becoming corrupted?

I was in faultline and attacking a villain spawn. A COT mage said hero followed by a number (maybe a specific message number?). Obviously code didn't reference correctly.

I was expecting the mage to say something about the heroes should interfere or something like that.

Bug: Teleport self destination/reticle inappropriately turns red at locations (mid air!) that it should not. Teleport lag is worse.
Bug: Dark Melee attack icons are incorrect.


CoH exists because there's a little hero in all of us.

Manticore TF is bugged. You are able to play Manticore TF until Ms. liberty SHOULD give you mission, but she wont. I heard people whining about this ...then it happened to me.

Last mission in the "bonefire" story arc the last room the mobs pop away into the walls or floor and are still alive so mission cannot be completed. Also "Defeat all clockwork in office" Everett Daniels all enemies defeated but mission is still not ending. Get a "clockwork sound coming from a wall, so that might be where it is. Kind of frustrating i have tried each of these twice and cant complete either due to bugs
Have done a buig report on each of these, hopefully they will be fixed soon

couple things:

Dunno if this was a bug, but when fighting some outcasts with lightning powers, i occasionally can't move for a few seconds, like when i'm held in a clock tesla cage... whenever i try to attack it says "sleeping". However, no effects around me, the sleeping animation is no playing, i have no Z's above my head, i just can't move. It goes away aftera few seconds. Is this intentional?

Yes! I did have an issue previously with a bad stick of RAM that caused this though. Now it seems to be something with Issue 2. If I were you I'd go to www.memtest86.com and download and run the memtest86 app just for gigles. Also, the manufacturer of your hard drive (HDD) will have a utility on their web site that will let you look for errors. Get it and run it. You may also want to check your motherboard drivers and update to the lastest to be sure there is no issue with tour HDD controller. Just suggestions.


Also, I have had issues with Teleportation being so laggy now that I'm dropping out of the sky a heck of a lot and since I'mm a lvl 22 in Talos I'm dropping into lvl 26-27 mobs that are doing tons of Dmg through my personnal force field.



I am getting the logon error as well were you log on and it errors and boots you out.

Many friends and now freezing mid game and need a reboot (I have not seen this).

I am getting the mapserver issue now and again (dsl connection with ping to the internet never drops a packet).

A note that has nothing to do with the update - in Talos the red zone often has lvl 21-22 mobs while the surrounding "orange" zones have lvl 24-27 mobs in them. I find this kind of an oversight. I move off the train and into the orange and boom, nasty mobs. Get with some higher level people and head to the red zones and find low level mobs, what gives?

This is the result of a Havoc Punch to the best of my research. Is it intentional? Probably. Just another status effect to annoy the player and drop toggles. There really should be a graphical representation on the player character for the resulting sleep. It is also like every other sleep, unless something physically damages you the sleep doesn't break. Note: The mobs whiffing while swinging at you doesn't break the sleep. Only Damage.

Are you trying to put in Accuracy discs, or To hit Buff Discs? Fortitude accepts to hit Buff, NOT accuracy discs.

Since the new download, my account is really messed up. When I click on ID card, talk to a contact, or click on any of my game tabs, part of my toons dissappers and the upper body starts looking like cars or what ever is close to me. In order to fix this I have to restart the game. I have sent bug reports, as of yet no reply. Does anyone have any idea of what is wrong? Needing some help here, getting fustrated and have no idea of how to fix it.

These few bugs with my character should be looked into for a fix. I play an electric/energy blaster level 45.

1.) Power boost is not affecting any of my secondary powers. Tested and used with Tesla cage and Short Circuit. Tesla holds exactly the same amount of time when used in combination with Power Boost as not using it. It is the same for Short Circuit the same amount of endurance is removed from enemies with or with out the use of Power burst.

2.) Buildup and Aim. When using these two powers now with Zapp on 2-3 level higher enemy it misses everytime. Rather then improving accuracy on a power that has a good chance to hit it seems to to guarantee a miss. Zapp used without either tends to hit not always but within the hit miss ratio that it probally should on higher level mobs.

3. When combining enhancements from enhancement tray the 3rd slot will not combine. I must always click out of combination and remove the enhancement from that slot in order to combine.

4. Not positive on these because I had never timed these to check against there recovery times. Buildup seems much slower to recycle now. Stamina does not give me the level of recovery it did before patch.

So to sum it up seems like there is severe problems with secondary power pool effects.

I have a suggestion that I think might work. A lot of the bugs seems to be enemies trapped in floors/stairways/walls etc. Before we /petition, why don't we try doing a broadcast and see if anyone have tp foe or a non-targeting AoE to help out. If say after 5-10 mins (or whatever the player deems reasonable) and no one answers, then use the /petition. By helping each other, it'll free up the GMs to fix things that only the GMs can fix. And, overall, should speed up response time.

I have come across that same problem. Even doing the TV trial that happened during a mission, but luckily we had 2 blasters that had Nova and were able to blast those bastardos who were trapped in the wall.

Little Minor bug.

But female characters, have a male coughing noise.

Also Sometimes when teaming the current misison won't show up on some of the teams nav window when you enter the mission.

I had an issue with enemies falling through the floor on a mission. The enemies could target me through the stairs and shoot at me, but neither they nor I could engage in melee through the stairs nor through the wall on the floor below that they were now trapped behind.

It was more than a little frustrating since I was playing a tanker and hence had no range options.
