Reporting bugs in game

Ive discovered a nice little bug. I have reported but i thought i'd say on here as well.

When my team went into battle fighting mobs that hand an aoe stun effect and i was casting a Regeneration Aura or a Recovery Aura (I'm an Empathy defender SL 28) The regen effect would have an effect on the group but..........

Because i had been stunned for some unknown reason the power had instantly recharged. This meant that i could cast it again and double the effect (stack it).

I'm not sure how hard this would be to reinact it since its more than bad luck i get caught in the aoe stun than luck.

I never knew that we had to give out our account name... you may want to include that in the game proper otherwise that can be problemmatic...

Oh speaking of problems... I noticed that there is a "glowie" problem as of late. I went on a timed mission and we looked EVERYWHERE for over 35 min.. in a little area too.. and we failed the mission... on another box , a friend of me did antoher mission and the glowie poped up like 20 min later AFTER we defeated the boss on that mission.... is there a problem with the coding lately or what??

Since a "glowie" problem was mentioned, I'll add what I've been reporting as a bug for the last few days...

Sometimes, the glowie is invisible. If it wasn't for the kinda-annoying tingle-noise they make, there would be almost no way of finding the invisible glowie.

Had a timed mission that involved two invisible glowies. Had first clear out all the enemies, shut off all powers that made noise (i.e. all of them ), then run around listening for the tingle-noise.

You can still run into the glowies, and can still click on them. They work normally, they just aren't visibile.


Note, that isn't all glowies, just some. Usually one per mission (if there's one at all), but tonight was the first time I had two.

On Pinnacle I lose mapserver alot, especially when going in and out of doors, and when going in and out of doors loadtimes are especially horrendous

There's tons of posts about losing connection to the mapserver. And tons of possible solutions. I couldn't begin to list them here. You should do some searches for "LCTMS", just for starters, and read some of those threads.

As far as your other problem, more memory almost always seems to help slow-zoning issues. If you have 256 MB or less, I would strongly recommend getting that up to 512 MB, 1 GB, or more.

Right now the only BUG I am having, is ever since the last patch, when I use an inspiration on the bottom row, the ones above it are not dropping down. This has gotten me killed many times already, and I have sent 2 bug reports on it. Other people have said they are having the same problem....*wondering when it's gonna be fixed*

No, this is not a big thing . . . that said, it shouldnt be a big thing to consider and fix if it is determined to be a lapse in judgement by the original programmer.

I apologize if Im coming off rude, but I believe this is the second feedback I've given and had to read this response. Feedback by the customer is their gracious attempt at patience with a new game that might need a tweak here and there.

Well, I think the problem here is that you used /bug or /petition to complain about a feature that is working as intended. Sprint is a toggle. Turn it off when you want it off.

Had a positive petition experience the other night.

I was in a Synapse TF with some folks and I think it was our first door mission after some patrols and clockhunts. In the mission, groups of clocks kept warping about the map. We cleared all the visible clocks and scoured the levels for 15 minutes finding no runaways...

Finally we petitioned. within about 5 minutes, a support person came and cleared a missing clock that had fallen through the world.

RE the green shadowy character problem:
I had an Intel Extreme 3d video car (/em embarrased) only the character shading rendered... no faces no other colors or image maps. just a big dark, greenish, ghost-armor-looking thing. (in character creator as well as the game)

If that describes your problem then video card upgrade may indeed be your solution (or just better drivers if you're lucky.)

and NO. I never actually played the game with that card, although I did spend hours trying to tweak it into working.

Sorry if this has been posted allready but there is a glitch that showed one of my characters on 2 days ago. I know it's a glitch because my account wasn't active. I even asked the makers about it and they said my account was never active at that time but it still shows one of my characters was online.

I find when I switch from one area to another, sometimes the game will crash and send an error report. Hopefully some good will come from the reporting feature.

Someone may have said this before...

I'm an Empathy defender with Recovery Aura.
If I am too low on endurance to actually use Recovery Aura and try to activate the power, it triggers the animation as if I had used Recovery Aura (spread of the arms, blue circles of light, y'know...) but doesn't buff me or my teammates.
This usually being done as the immediate predecessor to a big fight or during a battle, most teammates will fully believe that they're covered by the aura while the icon remains outlined in red in my powertray.
If left to fire when the proper endurance is accumulated, the aura properly buffs, but does not produce the animation.

Just a small problem, but causes grief when people think they're buffed, but they're not.

See what you can do, please?

for some reason whenever anyone tries to trade with me it returns the message "player is considering another offer" when im not. However I can initiate a trade with them with no problem. Hope you can figure this out.

This happens quite often, even when I first come online! I would say this happens 75% of the time!

Whenever I push the Contacts button, my computer instantly freezes up, and I have to reboot, I have tried pushing every other button in the menus first before I push the Contacts and My computer doesn't freeze up on anything until I push the Contacts button!

I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if it is just my Computer being a piece of (censored)! If so let me know so I don't break out the Sledgehammer when it does it constantly!!!

Brickstown contact give me story arc mission the 2nd time I visit her. Not even a friend. Mission door pointer points underground near west corner of Brickstown. Can't enter mission zone. Petitioned it 3 time, wait for 4 days for a GM to help. No response yet. Not seen this bug since beta.
Although I have to admit I play in odd hours and less than an hour in weekday sessions.

Public apology. No bugs really. GM just show me there is an underground parking lot nearby behind the fences. I make a fool myself

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but.

Not alot of us read the text when leveling anymore, but when you level up at level 6 I think you're told about enhancements. They tell you to drag one on top of the other to start the combining process. This ofcourse starts the replacement process. Could you change the text on this.

Super Jump and Combat jump let you climb walls that were previously too steep to get up...and I don't mean jump up them either....you float up them as if you were flying.

As long as the wall has a slant of pretty much any angle...you should be able to float up it. Jump into it and hold down your forward key and you'll float up...in fact you probably don't even need to jump.

This may not be your problem, but ToHit Buffs and ToHit DeBuffs look almost exactly alike. I've occasionally bought "lookalike" enhancements that wouldn't slot up... Doh!

I think that PLing is a kind of bug in the game. How is it right that a person can just stand their at the train station and level. I know a guy that went from 16 to 32 in four days by PLing. This is not right.
A feature should be added that cuts ex if the character is not moving for a certain time period.
