    Yeah, i got my SS/fire/mu with spirit radial. Its awesome, heals 794 hp every 12 or so seconds and has really great AoE, generally able to kill stuff before it kill him. Im honesly supprised by how good he is doing. As all i did on this guy before now was fire AE.
    As far as out of the box though. . .not too great unless you wanna cheat and use AE to level up.

    From my experience it’s quite the opposite. For example robots, weak to smashing but good against lethal, and i know that Ms. Liberty has more Lethal res than smashing res, but then again i think anti-matter has negative lethal res. But i guess there might be just as many things that are weak to lethal that i just can’t think of.

    Yep yep. And i dont think it ever ends up affecting how you act. Its much more "meh, better than not having the scaling res" than something that truly defines the set considering it is a hell of a lot better to have your health full and 0 res than to have 45% res and only 10% of your HP.
  4. You dont need all that extra def. Thanks to the insane amount of DDR SR gets you will be fine with about 46%.
  5. I LOVE my DM/SR but if i remember correctly Recluse in the STF might have decent chunk of +tohit (i could be wrong cuz its been awhile since i ran one) which would mean he could rip right thru /SR though
  6. I like claws/fire in those monkey farms better because you have more AoE attacks at that low lvl, but its possible moneky farms arent gonna be around much longer anyway.

    Edit: SS/fire/mu is EPIC for less cheaty farms though

    That, three /SD brutes would be an unstoppable super team. As long as you take grant cover and Phalanx Fighting.

    Brute for RSF

    My DM/SR can tank just about any single AV I’ve gone up against indefinitely, without any insp or buffs, that includes AVs with crazy -def like posi. I need insps or some buffs if I’m going to take on two though, or romi and his nictus in the last mish of ITF ******* auto hit aura *****.
    Now I haven’t tried the LRSF yet on him (so just ignore me i guess?) but i have tried most of the AVs there. However, my widow has done some and was crazy epic, even surviving where brutes have fallen. And DM/SR is tougher, so my guess is it would do pretty well.

    But considering you would most likely have buffs (or insps in Blue's case) just about any brute would be good.

    SS is probably my favorite Melee set mostly because i actually hate build up powers, only 10 seconds of +dmg >.<, but love rage. And the the KD is great dmg mit.
  10. Well, not only will you have ungodly end already (ie no need for PP and SC) you sould also be tohit capped not matter what. For that 1% of the game (maybe a little more actually) where you would need +precep pop 1 small yellow, if you wanna grab leadership that would make FA even more useless.

    But your prolly gonna grab it no matter what anyone says so im not even sure why i posted. :P

    Oh, forgot to mention that the +regen in PP is almost not even noticeable

    But i have to go out and defend Blue_Centurion. I was once an ignorant noob (Imo I was still a noob until recently, still a newb when it comes to most of this game though) that wouldn’t listen to anyone even if they put facts right in front of me. I too created threads of me ranting that then got large amounts of replies with people disagreeing with my. Why hell, i think i was even banned once (I’m actually not sure about that last part). But eventually you actually try out what someone else says and then you are blown away. It just hits you, they were right . . . and I was wrong.

    When i use the term noob i mean someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about but thinks they do. However, newb means someone who doesn’t know what they talking about, so when they ARE talking about it they are actually asking for help from other players.
  12. Maybe i wasnt clear i ment dont slot the dmg purple for example. Hecatomb: Damage (Superior). It's always the other 5 you slot.

    Now this is a question i have, what is it you are fighting that has a lot of toxic? All i can think of are the arachnoids and they arent all that common in mishs and stuff. I think there is a snake thing out there too.

    At this point i think its simply best to ignore him. He actually thinks that slotting a full set of purples is the best way to go. Even though just a few seconds in mids will show that insead of slotting that last full purple going with a non purple dmg/rech or a dmg proc will give you better DPS.

  14. Most of the time stuff is dead before KB protection in fences is a problem. Since the OP said they were gonna be farming kill speed is the top thing you wanna get and mu is the best for that.

    This is another interesting thing i think sould be mentioned. Out of the three attacks, Fire ball, Ball lightning and electrifying fences. Fences will most likely end up having the highest DPS.
  15. SS/Fire/fire would be better, SS/fire/mu is even better but you need to head redside to get that :'( One important thing is that fiery embrace DOES NOT buff fire dmg more than other dmg types any more, devs didnt really make sure ppl know this it seems.
  16. Dont forget that Dark oblit has a higher target cap of 16 compared to shockwaves 10, i think.

    I think it's the PvP IOs are the ones that are 30 Amerits
    I think purple sets are only about 20 Amerits

    So it would be closer to 100 AMerits for 5 purps
    @ 1.5 /day => about 67 days or so for a set of 5

    Also consider that in the course of events, a purple may well drop.
    Dont forget if you were doing that it's 20mil i believe to convert 50 merits into 1 Amerit so those 5 purples would cost over 1.3 bil anyway, i think.
  18. Fiery embrace now buffs all powers equally. It applies about 45% extra dmg as fire after your damage buffs.

    But here, might be a bit of an end hog but your soft capped to s/l with stealth and manuvers and have 77.5% +rech from sets. Their is some alt slotting in a few of the powers that opts for better +rech rather than def.

  19. This is just a few quick suggestions. I will get back to you in great depth later if you would like.
    1. I personally like to have more slots in Rage but that’s just me
    2. Combat jump is over slotted imo, its fine with just the initial slot, i would move at least one of them into FS for the feedback proc (it’s really that awesome)
    3. I highly recommend trying to get villain patrons. If you are going to farm mu (fences and ball) > pyre and if you are going to do more normal gameplay soul (gloom and dark oblit) > pyre. That would also free up a few powers, you could then get grant invis and invis which means you could grab a couple more LotGs.

    Now this is a question i have :P
    Is there a new version of mids out or something because i see you have fitness as inherent powers.

    is better with 151% recov, 2.52/s without any +end

    Health: 1 Heal IO
    Stamina: 2 End Mod IO
    gets 146% recov, 2.44/s without any +end

    I didnt know people actually did the gold class rolls with their tickets, i do bronze. :P

    And to the OP a mix of def and rech is prolly your best bet if its normal play and not fire farming in AE you're building for.
  23. Well, since there isnt a data chunk i cant give you too much help but the first thing i can tell you is never 6 slot a purple set, ever.

    But this is the build i run with, it's set up to fight fire dmg dudes in AE. I tried to max out +rech (with a bit of +recov/end so i dont have to use consume too much) since thats the most useful thing to shoot for. I have made a decent chunk of cash with this guy (that might be an understatement depending on who you talk to)
