Yeah - wtf.
Can we get a repsonce to why the least voted one was chosen? Edit: There's one answer here -
Quote:This really helps sums up my thoughts. Esp. the bolded.I have no problem with difficult content existing in the game. But my interest in this trials is minimal at best. I wouldn't blink at an eye at its existence if it weren't the barrier between me and Hybrid.
I will be farming this to get it out of the way. They've asked me to farm it anyway, I'm just cutting directly to the chase. I have little love for the incarnate trials as the sole source of incarnate advancement and would much rather have stuck to shards.
If the hybrid slot unlocked after one run, then it would make sense to run the whole thing, enjoy the trial for each 50 etc etc.
Being asked to run it over and over and over and over and over (5 times right), well might as well do it the easy way.
However, I can the likely result. I won't be surprised come Tuesday there's a patch to stop the wide spread farming.
Rather than holding on until there is varied (trials and solo to 8 person team) content, the next slot will require salvage or doo dads that will only be attained by that single trial. -

Quote:No. I hope you have sent a support ticket in though (so if it is common it gets noticed as common) & I'd start a thread in the tech support area here in forums as well.Is anyone else having problems logging in and the first time it will kick you back to log in screen? It seems like its gotten worse with i22 and now i23
and repairing doesn't seem to help at all or lowering graphic settings etc
And sometimes night ward alone makes me crash to log in screen! Please please please look at this :C
It gets 1/2 loaded and kicked to log in -
Quote:So my guess is, that in two-three months there will be a time locked arc that requires 90-120 minutes solo/team to 8 to actually play but due to the time lock will be closer to 21-28 days in real time.Trials are the core Incarnate content - any new stuff is attached to them first, and once the devs are happy with them, they then roll them out to non-Trial content.
Compared to doing the magi trial and unlocking in an hour or two real & game time. -
Quote:note that if you do buy the side switches (at what I'd call silly prices) you will still have to do the patron arc missions. They just save you the time doing the tip missions.Thank you. Wow that sounds like a long process
is there no other faster way of doing it? Yes I am VIP and level 43.
At 43 though, you might as well do the tip missions, it's all XP, and some of the rogue/villian/vig tip missions are brilliant. -
Quote:I've yet to see that attiude on the Virtue trials. The BAF is esp. easy just to follow the crowd. So happy to see it isn't just me. About half of my 50s are Alpha'd, the rest haven't touched anything Incarnate, and every time I think about doing something Incarnate, I talk myself out of it because I would be so "newbie" at it and all the posts I see talk about people leaching and how awful it is when the team has to "carry their weight".
I also have a small stable of characters in the 40s which will just add to my number of non-Incarnates.
So to me, the timing of this latest iTrial is a non-issue. -

Quote:I'ld like heal self on my storm and other support characters that only get heal other.I took stimulant/heal other on my sr scrapper and ice tanker (alternate builds) to aid squishies when they are in a bind, i.e. mezzed or low health to keep them in the battle to support me when needed. Although I would LIKE Aid Self right away the other powers have their uses.
TBH I really wish the vet reward to skip prerequisites carried over to the med, leadership and especially the friggin fighting pool...
Quote:If a pool needs real help, I'd say fix Presence first. -
I'd like to see heal self as a T1 pick. But it's more a suggestion thread.

Quote:What often happens with the LFG tool when you queue up while waiting is one of two things:

This happened four times before I actually got in- if that's typical, it's a problem. Having nothing to compare it to, I'm not sure if it's typical.
So, finally got in and was unhappily surprised to find myself exemplared way down- I thought I'd joined the higher level one, but obviously not.
1) You sit in queue until the min number of players (for DFB 4) are also waiting, then it starts the event, and asks everyone waiting if they want to start. As it's minium number of players, it only takes one to be afk or doing a mission they don't want to interupt to cause the event to fail.
2) Someone starts a DFB with less than 8, it check the queue for people waiting and offers them a ride. I've gotten a few trips to the sewers this way from SG base or uni. -
Quote:It's a really old quote with a lot of variations. So old I think it started as 1 papyrus notes. My signature that Wendy was referencing is a paraphrase of something a game developer used to say around the office. Yes, there are more situations than just the two in the signature, but he didn't need to mention all of those other things to make his point.
Since I never could find the chat logs where I was told this line (it was said in a global channel by someone that worked with the game developer), I don't put it in quotes or attribute it to that game developer. -
Quote:Its happened to me. (A character offline longer than the game itself has been around). The only time I've heard of that was someone that had a character in the initial beta. The player literally forgot they even had the character (wasn't on a server they normally play on after an absence).
I've also seen a small handful of 'gosh look at this' threads on it in forums. -
Freedom and Virtue have the biggest populations which equals more trials.
The ex-europe defiant might have more people during your play time.
Servers are arranged with the last one you used at the top, then lowest load to highest load at the bottom on the list. Keep an eye on which are always at the bottom when you play.
You can also join the global chat channels for a few servers to get a feel of how active they are.
If you don't already, leading trials yourself via sending tells and messages in global channels is often successful for BAFs and LAMs
Quote:Where other players are connecting from will have nothing to do with lag you get.preferably with a lot of players around the same region where I live so it's not so laggy. -
Quote:yeah its a lot of thread to go through, but afaict standard procs, atos, and sbe will all be using the PPM method soon.I might be missing something... but that link takes us to a forum post that is talking about SBEs and not ATOs.... it's just making the SBE work like normal procs.
Edit : Never mind I did find info in that post.... Still not a very clear answer, but when have Red Tags ever given a clear answer. -
XP Boosters?
Just in case you dont know: Enhancement Boosters are not XP boosters, they raise the level of your IO (watch out that ED doesnt make that boost useless). Really good on purple IOs.
Unless you were talking about XP Boosters in general as they werent listed. -
Quote:Agree. I can wait. Lets my points build.Another week of Paragon working on making sure all the truly new stuff is actually done and ready instead of pushing it out the door unfinished. I'd rather see a few weeks of "new but not really new" stuff like this than another "we've got a deadline to meet -- get it on the market NOW!" debacle like what happened with the Imperial Dynasty set.

Ahhh Marketing, rather have a cool sounding name than be accurate and informative
At least it's fridays for me. -
Almost every DFB run on Virtue is a badge run.
If I really wanted it, I'd start recruiting for it in Atlas, "DFB BADGE run lfm". Lead the team yourself.
DFB also teaches avoiding standing still in one place while you fight. -
Please do some contests without prizes equal to cash value. That way everyone can join in. Not just the countries you've bothered to check contest requirements for.
It's not like the $30 prize is much more than a token ribbon anyway. -
Quote:AFAIK; AE Farms are the only farms the red names have ever vocally been against. This is really not something that there's a definite and absolute response to, it's going to come down to personal opinion. That being said, my opinion is that there is nothing exploitative about AE Farming. The dev's gave us a tool that can be used to create our own content. I don't understand how it could be considered exploitative to use that tool to our best advantage. Why wouldn't we? It's not like the AE is a hack. It's a perfectly legitimate part of the game.
