What is the Ultimate SS?Fire Brute Build for AE Farming?

I'm still pretty new to this game so I would like to know what the ultimate build would be for me to make a super farming toon using a SS/Fire Brute for AE missions. Also, which map would you suggest for the build?

Please let me know what the build is through Mids Hero builder with all Purple Enhancements and etc all slotted.

And also, approximately how much influence would it cost to make such a toon?

I would like to be able to farm at max difficulty settings.

Wait, there's more than one SS/FA build?

Put this together really quick. It has enough recharge for perma hasten. Softcaps fire def so you can bind all your inspirations to turn into reds and not have to worry about purple inspirations. On my version of MIDS after i updated it the incarnate tab no longer says "on/off" so I dont know if it will show those but for alpha/ spiritual obviously. Interface/reactive. Destiny/Ageless. Judgement/Pyronic. and if you choose to use lore/Phantoms with the non target-able support which gives a massive recharge and recovery bonus. Pyronic over Ion for its faster animation. With ageless T4 and consume you shouldn't have endurance issues. It's an expensive build but you asked for the best. Besides, purples and pvp procs are considerably cheaper than they used to be. Also realize most people would cry foul over not slotting healing flames at all for health but first, it does get some health bonus from spiritual (33%) and second, at least when i play, healing flames gets used very little as my health rarely drops very low. Healing flames will still give you back 40 something percent currently.

Hmm, only other things are every main attack for farming has a damage proc which may be worth dirt once the proc changes happen in i24. And this build is more suited for PL'ing. A build meant for ticket farming doesnt need so much. Not going to mention maps for farming/PL'ing as its taboo and we dont talk about it.

Edit/ Scratch the Incarnate issues. Didnt realize the latest version put tabs below fitness for chosen incarnate slots.

Are you a redside brute? Or crossed over and completed the patron arcs that unlock the Patron power pools?

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

I'm Blueside Brute. Does it matter what side?

If you want Mu Mastery it does. Heroes can't get that pool unless they switch to Red and run the arc to unlock it.

Also, though you didn't ask... I think that someone new to the game should really avoid farming and PLing for a good while until they have a better handle on many different aspects of the game. Farming and PLing can promote early burn-out through getting characters to the cap and/or earning inf fast enough to make content feel stale. Don't force yourself into boredom before you've even begun!

How do I switch sides?

Well... first you need to have access to the 'Going Rogue' system (VIP players have it automatically, Premium players will need to buy it.)

Then you need your character to reach at least level 20. (Although if you just want to run the patron arc and then switch back, I'd wait to do this until level 35, when the patron missions open up.)

After level 20, enemies will start occasionally dropping 'Tips.' These are one-shot missions with a little more story to them, and each tip comes with a moral choice (which dictate the particulars of the mission you run.) For a Blue Side to Red Side shift, you are going to want to run Vigilante missions at first. After ten missions of one alignment (please note, you can only do 5 tip missions in a 20 hour period) a special Morality mission will drop (which doesn't seem to count for or against your regular tip mission count.) Completing this mission will change (or affirm) your alignment.

Now that your character is a vigilante, you can go to the Rogue Isles. There you need to start the process over, but you will only get one choice (Villain) of morality drops. 10 more tip missions and a Villain Morality mission will drop. Complete that, and you are now a villain.

So this will take you four days to make the shift. Do note that, if you have any Hero Merits, you should spend them BEFORE you start this process. Otherwise, you will lose them when you switch to Vigilante.

Once you have unlocked the Patron Power Pools, just repeat the process (this time going to Rogue, then returning to Paragon city and moving to Hero) to switch back.

Thank you. Wow that sounds like a long process is there no other faster way of doing it? Yes I am VIP and level 43.

You can buy an alignment change token for 800 points to instantly switch sides. Of course, you would need two if you wanted to instantly switch back.

Because of the Memorial Day weekend sale, they're actually only 400 points. However, that sale ends in under 5 hours at the time of this posting.

If you're farming single target damage is useless to you.

You want AoE for farming.

I second the opinion that you shouldn't spend all your time farming if you're new to the game.

I'm also of the opinion that you should post a build yourself instead of just asking other people to do the work for you. I'm perfectly happy to offer advice and critique a build, but I don't generally go to the effort of putting one together for people who aren't willing to put the effort in themselves.

Just a quirk of mine.

+1 to all of this. Get a few characters to 50 the (gasp!) old-fashioned way so you actually learn the powersets first. By that point, I will bet you won't even need to ask for help, because you will actually know enough about the game to DIY.

YMMV

Best,

^ This. Also so you can dictate what you wanted to put into that one slot. recharge or damage or whatever. Your choice really since it doesnt effect the build I made.

I also debated giving the build, but I was bored and I do love MIDS.

Single target damage may be mostly useless for farming, however bosses give the best results, so its good to have bosses. It's also good to run on a higher difficulty setting. This means bosses have a fair bit of health. They tend to die a lot slower then other mobs. Since it's fairly difficult to have a 100% AoE chain, then you will have open moments in your attacks. KO blow is one of the best single target attacks in the game, so not slotting it is kind dumb in my opinion. I could vaguely see an argument for not taking it, if you wanted to fit something else in the build. But not slotting it makes no sense. Heck, at a minimum stick one slot in, and put 2 lvl 50 damage IOs, or a couple Nucs.

In that case, remove the slots from Rise of the Phoenix and put them into KO blow and slot hecatomb. Problem solved.

Yeah, if you are using ROTP more than once per farming round, you've got bigger issues than "underslotting" it.

It was for the 10% recharge. Which the melee purple will do just as well. I guess i still have it ingrained in my head to try and use non combat purples over combat ones cause they were so much more expensive. Which isnt the case now.

note that if you do buy the side switches (at what I'd call silly prices) you will still have to do the patron arc missions. They just save you the time doing the tip missions.
At 43 though, you might as well do the tip missions, it's all XP, and some of the rogue/villian/vig tip missions are brilliant.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):
