i dont mean to sound funny, but this is probably the most useless promotion ive heard in a while, feel free to correct me with some actual points on this, but i dont think its much use, 1 free month for us Europeans since we cant get the 12 month deal is pretty pathetic.
i can see alot of people jumping on the hate wagon after this comment but i call it as it is, so feel free to give your opinions, but i certainly wont be taking the "opportunity" for this "super speed deal". -

i think im just dissapointed, not because its not autumnal, but because i can see this dark set as being a mix and port set and we really are only getting it because controllers are aswell, well in some form, dark affinity.
well i wont make assumptions lol ive made too many of them, i will wait and see how this set fairs. -

melt armor is good for striping defense and resistence and i believe it is quite powerful, however, if your like a truck as you say and you have no problems watsoever, maybe you should consider getting just fireball and fire blast and get more attacks, maybe even go to the redside get the mu mastery set elec fences and elec ball for more damage.
the options are endless

yeah i agree now that you guys have given valid points regarding this i can see its not wise, i dont want to sound like a kid without his rattle but its not fair on us europeans lol.
with that said, i will look to get a turn out on saturday and see what i can get.
the thing is while i apprecaite the people making the raids happen i.e cherry cupcakes, its also hard to turn up since times are different.
i willl definitly try to keep up with the americans on the server, guess a crate of red bull and relentless will do the trick :P

Hey guys, I noticed theres been hami raids on exalted and I always forget to check the forums to join up so figured that we could organise one, ive never actually run one before but would like to organise one and I feel id be up for the challenge.
I would appreciate it if alot of people could turn up as I will be recording it with fraps to post up on youtube.

what would be a good idea for pvp, is say a window of opportunity say 30 minutes villains get to start an invasion and a group of heroes would be there to stop them, kinda like Turgenevs idea but invasion style, btw thanks VK for giving us this info nice to see i22 heading our way, i would assume january february time?

nice idea nice use of the imagination but never will it ever be a powerset considering how many ppl could be offended by this since alot of ppl were murdered by hitler in gas chambers, it would cause uproar.

So, I have been on an Ice kick recently. I started a Ice/Ice Dom. I have two question really. 1) Should I expect more love from teammates for an Ice/Ice Dom than I got with a Grav/Nrg? 2) How does Ice/Ice play different at high levels from Grav/Nrg?
while ice sounds like a good choice, i would prefer a more personal touch and plant/energy has got to be one of the best dom sets i have played, in my experience an amazing pvp set and pve set, drop seeds of confusion after domination, carrion creepers next, then fire ball from fire mastery, whirling hands drop vines, and pick off the rest with a lethal ST attack chain.
i personally put the achilles heel chance for debuff in fly trap and it does wonders.
perma dom with this is a beast plus power boost will boost ur defenses if its good enough including pretty much everything else, i quite like it and it fits to my playstyle, i have one tricked out n hes monsterous.
from what i heard about grav it seems it has some unresolved issues so i would personally just leave it for now.
ice is a good set too if you pair it with fire assault it could be nasty damage and mitigation from some ice dom powers. -

Gravity i like but never got one to 50 so i didnt notice anything good or bad just a thematically cool set, never touched force fields in my life so no comment, poison needs work even after the venemous gas changes.

So i read up on Dechs Kaisons thread regarding Dark Armor.
i wanna make one really bad now lol but my main concern is survivability, so i wanna know *if* its possible to softcap positional or specific damage types on a dark armor brute?
my theme is a DA/SS/FM.
i been tinkering with mids and i just cant get good enough defense or survivability.
i know im doing something wrong so anyone got any ideas or builds they can share with me.

your assumption of a set we have no new information is pretty ignorant since all ive heard is "its a mix between ice and fire, oh its a dual blade type set" seriously give me a break man.
what happens in autumn? hmm? a mix of nasty weather springs to mind, like tornados ( in extreme circumstances) co0ld weather, lightning thunder storms, a big bag mix of possibly extreme weather conditions.
so before people start saying the same bag of nonesense as explained above please just think about the set, or even if it is the new set at all.
i personally wouldnt mind dark assault and dark control since it can be overpowering. -

I like to try all the secondaries when it comes to dominators and Energy is the last one on the list. Since I'm not a huge fan of Knock back I chose Plant as a primary. Plant is not only great for damage and mitigation (and it's my favorite control set in the game) but the pet throws out roots just as often as I do. So it would be almost impossible for me to send mobs flying across the galaxy due to all the immobs from me spamming roots, Fly Trap spamming roots and last but not least Carrion Creepers with it's immob patch.
I'm also locked into Primal Mastery because...
1) Energy Assault has a very Hybrid Ranged/Melee feel but bone smasher, Total Focus, Whirling Hands and Power Burst make you want to get in there and Blap it out!
2) I've always wanted an excuse to take that set and I love Energy Transfer(non kb), Energy Torrent, and Explosive Blast...just Ironically I hate KB :/.
3) I would normally take Ice Mastery but I love the fact that with Primal I can Take down a Boss with Energy Transfer, Bone Smasher and Total Focus but also handle big mobs with Energy Torrent and Explosive Blast.
THE REAL QUESTION (finally!)
Since I'm forced to take Temp Invulnerability should I not worry about going for a Dom that is defense built? Should I focus more on Recharge and treat Seeds and Carrion Creepers as my defense? (example: kill them before they kill you)
Even after Level Bumping this toon and playing around with his build I'm having issues (and MAN is he hard on end!).
