Just ran 2 oro arcs, both with AT only powers, Hatreds Hungry Heart, and The Organ Grinders. Got a total of 7 recipes. 3 were mish comnpletes. 4 set pieces and 3 Commons, so it's affecting Oro too.
-
Other code has changed, it is perhaps interfering with the rewards related delivery, recipe only, in an unanticipated way. There also may be some interaction between the live database, the server environment there, and a host of other factors that are not the drop code itself. But the end result is toons aren't getting rewards
ooo..nasty thought, if BIG IF, but if they've added some new recipes to the game but haven't activated them yet, couldn't that cause issues? -
Yeah back to Ouro after this, too much feeling like we're being told we're morons and nothing's wrong. Did 3 Borea mishes spawnd for 6, got 3 common io recipes and 7 enhancers, then did 3 spawned for just me and got 1 ONE effing enhancement. Sorry Synapse but while I may not be a programmer I do know how to count, and I also know that for that many dead rikti there shoulda been more then what I got.

I assume it's like most other procs and has a fire chance every 10 seconds, but does it check once and give both end and healing, or does it check once for each so you could get healing but no end or the other way around?
-
Great guide, have you thought about expanding it with advise on a per AT or per challenge basis? What I mean is something like "For no travel power arcs try hatred hungry hear since it's all in Croatoa". Also what arcs would you recomend in the 35-39, and 40-44 range with the least amount of travel?
-
not sure if this'll help but I had my 50th run and oro arc in the 40-44 raNge and I got lots of recipe drops. He was running 0/+0

Hi All, my search-fu is weaksauce so could someone post a link to the list of what npc and factions are resistant/vulnerable to what? Thanks.
-
If you use either claws or dual blades go with willpower instead of regen since WP only has 1 power that'll cause redraw.
-
I'm haveing an occasional problem where I'll eisther zone REALLY quick, or it'll take minutes.
-
I tried to post this in the I16 bugs section but couldn't. Ever since the last issue cam out I've been getting intermitent load times, sometime I'll zone in 1 second, and sometimes it take quite literally 10 minutes, so what the blue heck is goin on?
::edit::
Closed Fire fox and logged out for a while, then played an alt with no problem. So I got hopeful and logged back with the toon that had all the issues and no problem yet. Gonna leave FF open and see if it starts again. -
go for a DM/Shield if you have the inf, DM/SR if you're cash strapped.

Quote:A force multiplication, this is where team members can be encouraged to let go and unleash more no? If so I think scrappers can provide force multiplication just not to the extent of other ATs because they are already a force unto themselves.
Ahhh..but 0x a billion is still zero, scrappers give you something TO multiply -
Quote:If you want to run normal stuff that the devs expect people to run ala radio mishes and TFs and whatnot, SO'd DM/Shield scrapper will do fine. If on the opther hand you want to solo AVs, cut down pylons by yerself and tell a farm group that you'll take this side of the map and they can have the other half, and then take your side and then go help them, then you'll need Sets and expensive crap like that.AAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to burst into this conversation, but reading what I quoted made something inside of me snap like a twig. Please, please help me understand something.
..and I am in a rage, so, if my writing is not understandable, I apologize in advance.
If IOs, and IO sets, are not needed....then please, please, please explain why when you go to the different AT forums, the builds there REQUIRE LOTG recharge IOs, plural, more than one, they REQUIRE Numinas, they REQUIRE every single IO set out there that is so expensive you are required to have billions and zillions of influence points, and I know I am being dramatic, but I feel dramatic about this...not about the cost...sellers sell at the amount buyers buy, but about the necessity of the sets
Case in point....real life example here, I would love to make a Shield scrapper...I happily went to the scrapper boards to do some homework on the subject, and found out Shields demands IOs...it will not perform well without them
Explain to me, how, in one post these IOs are REQUIRED, or your build will not work, and in other posts your builds will work WITHOUT IOS!!!!!!!!!
Which is it?????
If I go build a Dark/Shield, and solo her with a build filled with Crushing Impacts and Common IOs ....will I die in every fight because I don't have Numinas, and LOTG recharges, four of them, and, and, fight with no accuracy because I had to six slot a set of expensive IOs to get a tiny defensive bonus which I can't see, even being as rotten in math as I am, being large enough to make a difference and, and, oh Fudgesticks....my confusion over this has been building and building and I, I, did a Nova.
If someone can explain this whole mess to me, send me a PM because I am sure I am the only player here who is bitterly confused by this "You NEED IOs, You DON'T need IOs thing...
I played this game before there was a Wentworths. The builds people played were SO, DO, and TO, builds, and they worked. Now, these same builds REQUIRE a bloody fortume in IOs or they will not perform.
...Oh cornflakes, I am going to go into the game, and punch some Hellions in the nose with one of my new toons...but....oh noes my new toons just have TOs in their build, the Hellions will hit them in the nose instead.
Lisa-Leaves thread muttering something about bandaids and LOTG..four of them..yes,that made an impression on me.
...and...thanks for letting me rage. I truly needed to express myself on this matter.
I return this thread back to you all. -
Midnighter doors now have the map name above them

Well, if it is as screwed up as it looks like you guys should get bug hunter badges and a set of purple, cuase a cluster frag like this would get ALOT of folks unsubbed.
-
yeah, the only time I've ever been afraid was fighting Jick-in-Irons think he has an AoE fear.

Quote:It also grants Defense Debuff Resist.heck no, grant cover is the FIRST thing to go. The only thing it adds to you is slow resistance, which when you're not getting hit by attacks means SOO little. OWTS is SO much more useful than grant cover. Even at the cap, there are always things that can get to you. But grant cover in large, does nothing for you either way. If nothing else, OWTS is a "conserve power" type power if you don't need it for the survivability.

Quote:yeahhh..with 100 mill I'd say tanker. My scrapper will be doing these +8 farms, but he's probally worth around 5 billion inf.I think based on what you have, I'd recommend going tanker. Trying to optimize a shield scrapper (soft capped defenses, good dps, good innate regen) will burn through 100M very quickly. You might spend all that in getting just 1 set.
This is not me trying to put you down. However, generating vast amounts of influence requires either a lot of time or some market savvy. I have 1 billion saved up to upgrade my current fire/shield into the sets I want (she's currently soft capped and has a Miracle proc, 4 LoTG Recharges, 2 full sets of Obliterations, 2 full sets of BoTZ) and I may have barely enough to cover what I'm trying to buy. -
Because while they're busy [censored] we're busy trying to figure out a better way to scramble the egg.
-
hmmm...I'd say Fire,Dark, or Electrical for a primary and shield, willpower, or invuln for a secondary. Shield will be the most expensive secondary, the other pri/sec could be done really cheaply.
-
I noticed that I SEEM to be hitting fewer folks with soul drain then normal, but that could just be an illousion.
-
Scrapper>Shield Defense> Shield Charge, also doesn't crit :P
-
I'd keep Grant Cover for the Def Debuff Resists, and as the 5th LotG holder.
-
Hello folks, I'm looking to buy a Panecea Proc, any level, crafted or not. I'm on Freedom blueside. I'm offering 1 billion

Quote:I like this. As I have always said, people can farm or do whatever they want to do, and it doesn't affect my game. I'm not against farming, I just don't personally do it.
But this post is suggesting something I haven't really thought about before. The farmers can get more drops and feed the items into the market to help us non-farmers get what we need as well. Otherwise, we'd be looking at certain items being rarer and possibly having to pay a slightly higher price for them, or not be able to get them at all.
It seems to me it's a WIN for everybody.
Bu.But, farmers are ebil right? If Joe Schmoe can't blame his sucking and inability to afford "Da phat lewtz" on farmers thay'd have to realize they suck, because THEY are just plain lousy players, and we all know how likely that is.
