    Yeah, and I cheat. I actually have dedicated buffers for my fire/storm. Me and an empath can pretty much clear anything. If I dont hold it, I just tank it.

    I play my troller as an AoE blaster with great single target damage if you throw in lightning storm and tornado.

    The best illustration of this is actually an AV fight. My team when in. They were 4 Iirc. 1 earth/kin, 1 stone tank, 1 emp and 1 more. They couldnt dent the AV at all.
    I was afk due to RL issues, and when I came back after they had fought it for 10 mins. We arrested the AV in 20-30 secs.

    Even if the extra dmg might be helpfull on a low lvl solo troller, I wouldnt. At the low lvl's you can concetrate more on your secondary, and add in a hold or 2. Basicly playing a defender. I prefer this solution to getting a pool power attack which is gonna suck at the later lvls.

  4. It seems like Im gonna be tanking. I have my taunt 6 slotted (3 recharge - 3 Taunts). Im fairly sure I can keep the aggro even if tanks are using holds.
    I have about a million times longer to get some nice taunting on Hami before anyone will start to gauntlet.

    The real problem is actually the recharge of your hold. With 6-10 AM's and some SB's on the side, you are gonna spam your hold pretty freaquently.
    I on the other hand will have 2-3 emps for recharge. I cant "perma" my taunt (ready to fire, as soon as the animation finishes).

    To sum it up, I need to hit taunt more than you can hit holds. Fighting against 20 or 1 tank is the same. Any of those 20 tanks will have to gain more aggro than me. Its hard, but I think it can get close with the buffing you will have. Remember I have 2 AB's only.

  7. /kin has a big problem in 1on1's. No autohit self heal.

    When fighting /kin trollers, dont let him get into range and use trafusion to heal himself.


    My money is on the /rad in most situations.

    When i made my earth/storm its was 100% ACC but as i understand it it has/will be changed .. not sure if it has or will be but even if it has 70% with 1 ACC enh in TC would not hurt at all.

    It got changed a while back. Its no longer autohit. I would also vote against it. It has the same acc as most AoE's which mean 2 acc SO's minimum.
    The long animation time makes it hard to use without someone taking initial aggro.
    I dont like the power, but it has its uses. I would pick tornado over thunderclap any day.

    Ok how come you didn't explain why all the Scrappers who aren't attacking eachother because they can kill Blasters easier weren't attacking you? Don't know about the Scrappers/Tanks in your fights but I don't even bother targeting another Scrapper unless he's getting utterly mobbed (which is rare because most Scrappers avoid eachother) and I think I can steal a kill.

    If you'd have been in any one I've been in you'd have been everyone's [censored] a split second after you spawned. No way to stop it because likely there's more than a couple Scrappers in there looking for the easiest kills they can find, don't care if you're Fire/Rad/Fire you'll spend your half-second using Radiant Aura before 'planting.

    cause when blasters can kill a scrapper in less than 5 secs, they get kills.
    In every FFA with skilled players we have had defiant, blasters had won ever since blappers hit the street.

    Illusion by far. They contribute the most even if you are busy healing.
    Spectral terror, phantom army and phantasm. They each add something and it wont take your time.

  17. Cobra Strike. Yeah its good. I dont have it on my MA/Regen cause Im darkness mastery (concept), which gives me a ranged hold. You dont want this solution, you want focussed accuracy for PvP, which will leave you without somekind of 100% stun/hold unless you take it. I would get it.
    2 acc 2 stuns 2 recharge.

    Cripling. Get for damage. Its the 3rd hardest hitting attack, you can get.
    The -fly is 100% certain, granted that you hit. The immobs doesnt win battles, when everyone has combat jump (protection from immob).

    Lvl35 is fine. IH is overrated IMO. The heals can keep you alive in both PvE and PvP.

    Repel has a small chance to detoggle one toggle - if, however, that toggle is the mez-resist toggle and you have a mez on them once it detoggles... byebye toggles.

    Strangly enough when I tried repel against me. All my toggles would either disappear in a split second, or nothing would happend. I could usually stand 30 secs near repel, and nothing. Then all of a sudden everything gone.
    I had no mez on me.

    But I would think it works the same way as Syn said.


    What really annoys me about fighting kinetics, isnt the -regen of transfusion. Its the bloody forced immob of transfusion/transference.
    Like any good regen will tell you. The regen never keeps you alive in PvP, its the [censored] clicky heals that makes sure you dont die.
  19. My funniest story was prolly about a mastermind, I meet on my scrapper.

    I meet him in Bloody Bay where I was getting a Shivan, and getting closer to the BB - Badge. I saw him with a corrupter, first time I thought, Yay villains! That will give me something to do, so I ran up and faceplanted the MM and Corr.
    They didnt fight back, but what the hell it isnt really my problem. If they wanna just take, then be my quest - A kill is a kill.
    Anyway the MM started spamming in broadcast about how he would pwn me in a 1on1. Since he was a traps MM, I had little to fear. We arranged so we would meet at the villain base.
    When I wait for him, a couple of more villains arrive, and I end up fighting 4 villains at the same time Im doing the 1on1.
    First time I just killed the MM, and some of the other villains too. Got me about 8 kills before they got me. Well stalkers hit pretty hard, and if you are stuck on caltrops with a lot of webgranades on you... Its only a matter of time.
    First of all the MM complained about me running. Well I SS arround, cause I dont want the stalker to keep ASing me. Secondly I never ran far away. I dont run, but I dont stand still either, it was that sort of running.

    Then the mastermind said he had beaten tons of regeners in Warburg, so Im quick to challange him (him being /traps and all). We go to Warburg -after a few days wait (had him on my global)- We setup the fight in the western corner. So far all good.
    Now hes robots/traps, and I havnt looked at his build. Im thinking he will use a [censored] load of tripmines and just TP me with lolol - Pwned n00b. That tactic.
    I puff a few lucks just in case, but there werent any tripmines and I just kill him. I said to him, cause the fight was over pretty quickly, lets have another go. Hes game. We fight in the same location. This time my BU eagle claw hits him, and crits. 1 hit killed he was.

    The mastermind stopped, and I removed him from global and got on with my life.

    PvP. Drop em.
    PvE. They have all have some use. Blizzard can be nice, and is a real treat in the Eden trial. Frost Breath specially is good for lvling.

  23. You dont have hurdle atm. I would prolly skip health and get hurdle instead. Im not a big fan of health, no matter what toon Im playing.

    Hurdle 3 jumps, CJ 2-3 jumps is awesome. Its almost as fast as SJ, but half as high. The key thing is that its not suppresed, and therefor very fast.
    You still need acrocbatics IMO, so keep SJ.

    Powerboost enhances your secondary effects.
    Toggle dropping isnt a secondary effect, nor is mez magnitude. These are set by the power and cant be effected in any way, by any powers (dominations -dominations special ability - is the only exception)
    I would never take PSI personnaly. I hate the long animation of mental blast. With the other blast you can often get the triple damage from the blast before people use a break free, but with mental you cant, unless people where completly drained. Its simply takes too much time.
  24. Everything looks fine. The problem Im having is the choice of movement. I would have gone for hurdle/cj since jumping isnt slowed by "movement slows".

    The powers choices and slotting looks good.
