i'd say no to both O2 boost and tornado because O2 boost is a very very small heal and tornado is so random and uncontrollable it makes it very unpredictable.
I'd hold out till hurricane and lighting storm for the storm set.
Travel powers i'd stick to just 1 set so i'd say either fly/hover or SJ/CJ but in saying that my earth storm had hasten and fly/hover depends what you want really.

Hurrcane, hands down, wins every time. Its the unsung control power of the storm set, I have it on almost all of the time.
Push foes in to a corner so they are really tightly packed with the repel, plus I run around my Ice Patch pushing foes back on to it if they get free.

Well, nor do I, but not enough of them scream "OMG!! THIS IS A MUST!!!" on the forums, which is a shame 
PBAoE's like Tornadough (sorry had too) really make it difficult for Stalkers like myself to get that AS off. Be wary though it is possible to TP in hit you with a De-toggle and slay you that way..
That is if your into PvP..

I fail too see how a stalker can walk up to a player with such a power on. It will break his hide and he will be flung away. I must admit I just started stalking though..

No to Tornado, in PvE anyway. I know people like it for PvP.
Hurricane is great for both though. And O2 Boost is indeed a low powered heal but its very quick to recharge and it unsleeps & unstuns. Very useful against Knives of Artimus or for emergency heals. Personally I got it at 35.

I assume they meant a /nrg Brute? nrg stalkers don't exist do they? The Brutes NRG set has knockback protection. They will just stroll thru Hurricane and smack you upside the head. They will experience the -accuracy debuff though I think.
A Stalker would probably just Impale you from afar instead I'd guess.
Stalkers do have acess to /Energy Aura. But it has a few powers trimmed off. I still fail to see how a stalker could do it unless he tped in.

Yes theres /nrg stalkers and yes entropy shield in the /nrg set has KB protection and a big fat NO to hurricane unhiding stalkers .. all it does is KB's so a stalker with KB protection and good ACC can take out someone with hurricane on.

its both KB and Repel but if you in quick with KB protection and AS with good ACC its not going to stop someone AS'ing you.
Edit Repel just slowly pushes you away.
KB knocks you down.

IIRC /EA stalkers have both repel and knockback protection.

Correct, */NRG has Res to both KB and Repel.
Also, if you really think a controller will just stand there and let an */NRG Brute come at them head on, you got another thing coming, Storm has detoggles to help in those situations.

To try and answer the OPs question instead of turning this into another /storm PvP thread, here goes.
Hurricane is a must, herding/panicbutton/controlpower/debuff all in one...take it, get used to it and love it
Thunder Clap, it has its uses but I would personally vote against it. The animation is too long + it being PbAoE can get u killed...oh and a lousy accuracy on it.
Tornado...man I love this power. AoE immob to keep mobs in the spot, unleash Tornado for some nice dmg + def debuff + it's really good for AVs. People tend to hate tornado but you simply need to learn how to use and believe me you will love it

o2 boost is not a must, but I still used it alot. The odd heal here and there, protect especially tanks from sappers cos of it's res to end drain + keeping my pet alive.
IMO you should always try and get the leaping pool 'cos of CJ and Acro...those powers are just too good.

I have a lvl 27 earth/storm controler with all the earth powers exept the sleep, single target imob and animated stone, and in secondary i have gale, snow storm, stamy mist, freezing rain. Next lvl im getting thunder clap coz it will fit in nicley with my chain of holds, but i dnt know wetehr to get tornado, is it werth it when i have earth quake and freezing rain, or should i go for hurricane, its jus twith hurricane i thought it would un-group them. comments?
