would love to join you for corrupter evenigns are best but not Thursday/friday this week

Yep I'd slot hide as well if you can fit it into the build as all the def adds up

coolios. Does the defense enhcnaments i slot in on hide contribute to how well others can see me? or is it pointless even having anyhting slotted for hide
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd say it's well worth slotting def & end red on hide as you should be running it constantly. THe def helps boost your AoE def greatly to stop you getting caught in the odd bit of excess blast when your in the thick of it trying to assasinate.
However.. depends what your secondry is on how much you want to slot it up really -
Yep the Ecehlon put together a team yesterday and we had a little play, ontop of completeing it using the Shiv rush tactic oen member got the Toxic Tarantuler badge and our shiv's seemed to eat Mako before we even started.
I think Kitty had been training them
Great TF and lots of fun
Our Team was made up of around:
1 Scrapper
1 Tank
3 Controllers
3 Defenders -
Well imo claws is very ncie even for SC. I think SR is a ncie way to go.
Although you don't get the self heal u get from Ning you can squeeze in quickness i think for SC (Might be wrong) and this will help your recharge on Focus.
With the ptoential of a BU'd Ranged Crit Attack and quickness bringing it back quickly after placiating you should give alot of people trouble.
AS'ing is not the only way to get about as a stlaker and claws imo has a great strike range and death dealing capactiy through that power.
SR will also grant you the +perc and increased speed to catch your foe. Although it is going to be resisted heavily by some of the larger SC hero's such as tanks and some scrappers I think it's a gr8 set.
What can i say.. I use MA in SC and do very well for myself
If you plan on going for DA though I'd plan your PvP in Warburg or RV as the self rez is too good a pwoer to not have about -
From my view Claws/Regen is a very soloable build. Claws has alot of damage output witht he AoE's and good use of follow up. Spin, Eviscerate & Shockwave can be devistating if u line the mobs up well and will let you breeze through the missions.
Grabbing the majority of the Regen powers with a good IH will be great too.
I find with Dull Pain & Reconstruction i rarely need to use any others when soloing even on the hardest of diff. If you ahve any specific power questions let me know as I've played that build a hell of alot
Just PM -
I'd like to add in that the Evil Echelon is still going strong and we have a number of active players across all of our SG's and we see regualr evil doings and Heroic deeds.
With the run up to I9 and alot of Hero new content I imagine that the Villian side across the board is slowing down but sure inventions will kick start after everyone bashes states TF a bit
VOTE ECHELON!

Looks good to me, think the end should be ok how it's slotted. Still wondering over epics.
My FF went down the Earth route simply for Earths Embrace as a second heal and has Acrobatics too makes a real preoblem for many types even dom's. if there was a change to the epics then it might allow you to squeeze in GI or SI although I think GI would be better with the general build to boost Def & try to get your teams huddled in your bigger bubbles -
Gratz on the brute Gun. Enjoy the break and we'll see u in the pvp zones

Hey well done Swifty.. Good Work Buddy

It's arctic fog that causes the massive FPS drop, after a while. Always did since I6 and still does right now.

and to couple Mighty's comment I team with a */Cold corr and PvP alot and never get problems but he doesn't run the above power which may be the cause -
Aye congrats you two was some interesting matches..
Also did notice that with the TK was waiting for it for a long time to come out
Thanks for the organisers and hope for more good pvp again soon -
I play SR currently on a stalker so far i have been very impressed with it. ALthough my build is MA/SR i think SR has alot to offer.
Regen is tough but stalkers def bonuses make the utility of placiate/hide alot better imo. Quickness allows you to fire off AS's & placiate quicker. Teamed with hasten too the attack rate you can achieve is amazing.
With Ninj having some very good ST damage attacks at higher levels you will see a quick turn around of these attacks and a good high damage attack chain.
For me I'd go SR (with aid self)
(Also before this seems one sided i do have a lvl 50 regen scrapper and i just feel that Regen may not be the best stalker secondry for pvp but then again it's play style and regen has IH & MoG that are potent powers for stalkers if you are happy to keep your head down during the down times between them)
-
I've used two trolelr types in pvp being an Ice/Storm & Grav/FF
Both of these prob would go under the annoying sets. Now if you don't want to feel like a squishy really go for FF the annoyance of PFF up constantly and Force Bubble can wreak havoc at high levels. However it won't help you take down your opponent too well.
For dueling */Rad is very good with mean */Storm builds too. Msot trollers can PvP pretty good regardless of sets but for a fav I'd actually say */TA more of a support in a team and taking on large group of opponents in zones/base raids/ team arena but great powers to have!
What sort of PvP did you have in mind? -
Just my opinion of course, I agree alot with Stalk. I play a high lvl Regen a fair bit in PvP and the most annoying part to it is that you get hit by everything from slows to debuffs to any damage. Athough the healing is awsome at survivability I sometimes think that dodging all this would just be easier.
Now SR can be ulucky and hit several time then face plant but the resistences vs debuffs and slows shouldn't be underestimated.
but as always in PvP it depends what your fighting and how you play. My Regen tears through some opponenets and is laid to waste by others! -
Big Gratzie Raz LRSF & PvP time woot woot

*wipes away a tear*
Thanx guys..
Wanted tos ay a massive thanks to alot of people as this toon has been floating around for 2 years nearly, gone through 3 respecs and been left aside too many times.
But i like it in a wierd little way and had fun so I need to thank the old TCO (Long forgotten but some of u will know them) for this toons early days.
But I'd like to say a massive thanks to all the echelon gang that offered teams night and day for me and all our coalition emmbers that have helped make it a great fun last 10 levels.
It's the people you team with that makes the toon adn the game. Thankfully I had you lot
*rubs hands - Stalker next i think*

As for travel powers, you can get by with only the kin ones and as i see you have CJ & Acro it shouldn't casue to much problems at all.
[/ QUOTE ]
I beg to differ there. What will happen if someone is def based and you can't buff your speed off them? You will have a hard time vs /sr scrappers and stalkers, ice tankers, rad defenders and controllers, forcefield defenders and controllers... and so on
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep completely correct, sphon speed can be a pain vs def based sets.. I tend to buff off the little NPC's sitting about if zonal pvp. Alternatively u need to rely on IR to keep you bouncing about and slotted one SO makes it perma from memory.
although repel isn't liked by most it works for me. It will bounce them away which can make healing/end regaining more difficult but i find the valuable seconds and detoggling it does more then pays this off. But thats my play style I guess each to there own.
As always these forums express epoples opinions and the best advice is to always try it out. I have ahd many suprised people as i detoggle them and simply heal/end recover off fo them if they root.
-
Well if I'm on or ppl want to Tell me a Dark/Kin is avaliable for this SF
@Mr Nice -
I find really enjoying the build in PvP is the main thing. You can have a great build on paper but it doesn't suit your play style.
Some of the things I play i just love the look of and get by in PvP..
Also it really depends what PvP your looking for from Arena, Zonal, Raids, Team, Duel, Solo.. So much choice you can't really go wrong
What kinda plan did u have? -
Just to jump in on Dark's comment on repel..
I'm of a different opinion, i think repel is a great power in PvP now PvE... Lets say i've only toggled it on ocne.. for a laugh. I've got a high lvl Kin that i mess about with in PvP zones and arena a bit.
Repel workjs really well when players root for attacks or scrappers/tanks want to stand and throw with you. Although the % is very low to detoggle over time it really works. The number of regen's i've seen bounce away from me and cocky Rock tanks has been hilarious.
As for travel powers, you can get by with only the kin ones and as i see you have CJ & Acro it shouldn't casue to much problems at all.
But hey this is just the mad ramblings of my opinion go with what suits u -
Thnx Proverbial, would be a nice addition like the hero one you maintain too
Feel bad that I brought this thread back from the dead now
