This is the build i planned to have for PvP when im getting higher with my controller, give me advices and things that should be better to choose

Im new on controllers so i problably made some misstakes, but i hope i got the most of it right

u want more slots in telkineses mo r end reduces in tactics think this build is very dependand on transference to top ur end up, be aware that people jump around a lot so you might not get end back every time.

I suggest getting a proper travel power, relying on siphon speed and inertial reduction in pvp is pretty questionable.. But I dont have a high lvl kin..

3 end redux on telekinesis,
dominate 2 acc, 2 hold 2 recharge,
lose repel.. hmm.
Possible swap 2 slows to recharge in siphon speed..

Total domination will be pretty useless in PvP, so consider how much pvp-orientated build you want. Mass confusion can be ok, at least for masterminds

Im not convinced about usefulness of assault/tactics.

Having taken a kinetic without a travel power into zone PvP I think you will be wanting a real travel power. It's too annoying to not be able to get away quickly...

Not sure that you need to 6 slot fulcrum shift... it recharges fairly quickly anyway...

Better off slotting Transfusion: 2 x acc, 2 x recharge, 2 x heal and Transference: 2 x acc, 2 x recharge, 2 x endmod

If you are sticking with no travel power I would change one of those jumps in Inertial Reduction to a recharge and as hammerfall says add some recharges to siphon speed rather than those slows.

Is this a solo PvP build? Your team will love you more if you have speedboost for them... I imagine

Repel sucks, and that goes for pve and for pvp too. I see a sensible lack of recharges on your buffs. AoEs no good for PvP . Psi epics is ok, but primal epics are the best.

All in all, this is the way I'd play a mind/kin in PvP (but why /kin ?

What kind of PvP do you intend to use this build for?

Just to jump in on Dark's comment on repel..

I'm of a different opinion, i think repel is a great power in PvP now PvE... Lets say i've only toggled it on ocne.. for a laugh. I've got a high lvl Kin that i mess about with in PvP zones and arena a bit.

Repel workjs really well when players root for attacks or scrappers/tanks want to stand and throw with you. Although the % is very low to detoggle over time it really works. The number of regen's i've seen bounce away from me and cocky Rock tanks has been hilarious.

As for travel powers, you can get by with only the kin ones and as i see you have CJ & Acro it shouldn't casue to much problems at all.

But hey this is just the mad ramblings of my opinion go with what suits u

You needn't repel to move away from them and besides, you will want to be close to them for heals/buffs too. Having a tank or a scrappie in melee shouldn't be much of a problem unless they mez, and repel wouldn't be much of a help in that case either. So, apart of draining your end and pushing away foes you would like to heal/buff from, I see no use for repel

I beg to differ there. What will happen if someone is def based and you can't buff your speed off them? You will have a hard time vs /sr scrappers and stalkers, ice tankers, rad defenders and controllers, forcefield defenders and controllers... and so on

Yep completely correct, sphon speed can be a pain vs def based sets.. I tend to buff off the little NPC's sitting about if zonal pvp. Alternatively u need to rely on IR to keep you bouncing about and slotted one SO makes it perma from memory.

although repel isn't liked by most it works for me. It will bounce them away which can make healing/end regaining more difficult but i find the valuable seconds and detoggling it does more then pays this off. But thats my play style I guess each to there own.

As always these forums express epoples opinions and the best advice is to always try it out. I have ahd many suprised people as i detoggle them and simply heal/end recover off fo them if they root.

You may see no use for Repel in you build or you style, but dismissing the power or it's use by others is a little misleading.

Simple advice on how others have alternate uses for it is just as valid as advice as to reasons it might not be used. Different players use powers differently in different situations.

I've had Repel used on my /regen very effectively in some instances. In combination with other powers, it's toggle drop and the resulting KB, used in strategic parts of the environment made things very, very difficult.

Maybe it fares better or worse against other sets. Perhaps there's equally times and places a power can be used well, or not used well?

Repel's toggle drop chance is tiny now.
