PvE - Ninja/REG or /SR?
I have a high level Nin/Regen and Divine Avalanche saves my stalker so many times
However to reach a point where your doing more sustained fighting and not mind numbing hit n run stuff, takes a long time. At least level 27 when you start to slot Soaring Dragon or whatever that level 26 attack is called
Till then I had Sting of the Wasp, Flashing Steel and DA (and AS of course mixed with brawl).
Learn to use Recon heal a bit earlier due to the draw time and dont rely on DA too much in melee - use the heal if in doubt as by the time DA is activated you could be about to die mid animation.
I'd advise working in Fast Healing too, really helpfull HP boost.
/Regen hasn't QR for villains, DA stack nicely with SR toggles, SR can pick Aid self and having capped melee defense all the time helps a lot to re-hide ; last but not least, SR has quicknessssssssss ! Both secondaries are great, but I'd pick /SR without a doubt.
If you don't like Medicine, you could play ninjitsu.
If you're concerned about /SR having 4 toggles but 0 heals and /regen having 0 defence but lots heals I'd pick ninjitsu. 3 toggles, 1 heal, works very well with katana upping the def (that's how I do it on my nin/nin )

I would go for the Regen imo, it has 3 self heals if you include Instant healing. Whilst not having QR on a stalker is a bit of a pain you can get by with stamina.
Getting hasten will also help the recharge powers of ya heals.
I play SR currently on a stalker so far i have been very impressed with it. ALthough my build is MA/SR i think SR has alot to offer.
Regen is tough but stalkers def bonuses make the utility of placiate/hide alot better imo. Quickness allows you to fire off AS's & placiate quicker. Teamed with hasten too the attack rate you can achieve is amazing.
With Ninj having some very good ST damage attacks at higher levels you will see a quick turn around of these attacks and a good high damage attack chain.
For me I'd go SR (with aid self)
(Also before this seems one sided i do have a lvl 50 regen scrapper and i just feel that Regen may not be the best stalker secondry for pvp but then again it's play style and regen has IH & MoG that are potent powers for stalkers if you are happy to keep your head down during the down times between them )
I'm currently working on a DM/Regen Stalker and am rather enjoying it. DM gives a nice attack debuff with every hit and regen does the repair work when a hit does get through.
For me /SR wins over /Regen.
/SR is a pretty tight build and I'd highly recommend getting Aid Self. In my opinion Defense wins over Resistance on Stalkers, your going to get hit no matter what power pools you choose, but with Defense from /SR or /Nin your chances of hitting an extra AS in the middle of a fight vastly improve. Plus /SR offers +Perception which helps a good deal in PvP and PvE, /Regen cant offer you this.
SR all the way for me.
Well thats my 2inf anyway.
Does regeneration work from your base health or from buffed?
For instance, does Fast Healing & Integration regenerate health more if you use Dull Pain?

I dont see y your asking this question considering that your leaving the game.

Part of the reason I bothered to write here even after I decided to end my subscription (for now) is that I feel CoX could be so much more.

I've seen MANY post where people say they have taken a break from CoV and returned. Taking a break is not a final decision and honestly I think you would rather troll than admit you don't know the answer to my question. Oh well..

First things first integration is a self-buff (100%)
Fast healing is a self-buff (75%)
Reconstruction is a heal (25% health points)
Istant healing is a self-buff (800%)
Dull pain is a self-buff + heal (40% health boost 40% health points)
Add all them powers together (excluding dull pain} will keep your Regeneration high.
Dull pain is the only + base health point temp

I guess I dont ...
regen is completey rubbish for stalkers, firstly its based around hitpoints, and stalkers hitpoints arent that high, and also with regen u can get knocked outa hide to easy with defence there is a high chance they miss so u can stay in hide and AS everyone :P
It's now Issue 21 and I am back!

I am quite torn about what secondary to choose for ninja sword. This is purely for pve. I am planning to use divine avalanche quite a lot to up my +def and (if possible) scrap instead of hit and run.
My major concern about /SR is having 4 toggles and 0 heals.
On the other hand, /reg has no defence or resistance and requires active use, stalling the attack sequence...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
