Hey again guys this time I need some critique on illu/ff, changing this toon to PVP is giving me nothing bar headaches

Looking at the powersets ive decided it should have a team pvp edge as although ive no doubts it could duel some toons, I believe its sets will shine more in teams.

Main problems Ive found so far in my testing are..

End Usage:- some of the builds ive tried use far to much, esp on pet summoning with all bubbs up

SI and GI:- SI and force bubb kinda dont mix well, GI seems like it could be usefull tho will peeps gather for it?

Travel power:- Theres a number of ones that seem viable, Leaping coz i can stack CJ and Acro with dispersion, FLY with my def this seems a ideal vantage point bieng able to buff from up high, CJ + teleport tho im not to keen on it.

Epics:- the Final thing bugging me, PB seems to good to give up PB bubbs offer some nice def to my teamates, conserve also would help me with any issues. Then theres PSI epic, will dom would give me sleep protection helping me keep my own bubbs up. Finally theres ice tho having hybernoob and PFF seems overkill imo.

Looks good to me, think the end should be ok how it's slotted. Still wondering over epics.

My FF went down the Earth route simply for Earths Embrace as a second heal and has Acrobatics too makes a real preoblem for many types even dom's. if there was a change to the epics then it might allow you to squeeze in GI or SI although I think GI would be better with the general build to boost Def & try to get your teams huddled in your bigger bubbles

First of all, illu/ff is a great combo for pvp, not only for teams. In duels, the best st hold in game+force bubble will be your best friend. It is a heavy end build, but conserve power makes up for that most of the time.

Cheers DB, looks good tho still unsure on SI, surely with Force bubb when a foe runs into it it will lose the invis side of it, or are you saying only use FB as a reactive power and not a permanent toggle that is on?

No way! FB ftw :P but u can use SI then ST and twhen the target is feared corner it with fb . And yeah u may lose invis when they touch fb, but u still got the surprise component+def bonus (which combined with dispersion and PB, is kinda tasty). Add to that a hold that trespasses any defenses and a tank wise mez protection and ull have a very good pvp toon imo
