? ? ? Claws/Regen ? ? ?
I have a Claws/Regen Stalker and I know it isn't a Scrapper but I can give you general help.
Do NOT take Swipe... take Strike and Slash instead.
Three slot Dull Pain, Instant Healing and Reconstruction for three recharges and the later two with three heals as well.
My main advice to you is do not let poeple sway you away from Moment of Glory (MoG). Try it out for yourself first. I love the power and find useful against Elite Bosses/Archvillains/Heroes or as a panic button.
Soloing: you have very little damage resistance in this set so expect to take heavy damage when you get hit, however, because of your uber fast regen rate you'll have that lost health back in no time. You do get damage resistance to Lethal, Smashing, Toxic and Disorientation resistance with Resilience so that does help (three slot with improved resistance )
Claws are good. Low recharge, low endurance cost... low damage but since they recharge fast you'll be able to dish out the damage in no time.
Hope this helpes, Rap

err, as I know a small amount about this particular combination, I can say IT ROX
Claws, whilst not having the burst damage of BS or Kat is certainly Fast
From level 16 (integ) you will notice a definite improvement in your scrapping.
From level 28 you 'can' up the difficulty with no problems solo
I know its not much of a start, but give me a /t in game and I will give you a better idea. union or defiant.
Claws/Regen is very effective soloing. You'll love Focus when it arrives at 18. Claws also works pretty well in teams as it has some good AoE/Cone attacks available later in the set.
FireKitty posted a handy Regen guide with an example build for Claws/Regen here-> Clicky!
Other advantage of claws is its endurance light so can be used in a fitness free build! One day I'll get mine over level 18
True, but if you want to use FA then Stamina might be handy.
With Follow Up I'm not sure that FA is really necessary though, except for PvP. ACC + a little to hit buff is great and your attacks are very chainable out of the box. So much so I that I'm not sure I'm getting Eviscerate on my Claws scrapper. Strike and Slash are about the same damage in about the same time and I have a full attack chain with Follow Up, Strike Slash and Focus + movement.
@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.
Really leave out Evicerate? I'd have thought the higher burst damage, cone and improved critical chance would be reason enough to keep it just for teaming.

This is "A" [u]semi[u] pvp build without H/O's, look it over by all means but builds are NEVER set in stone
MoG is only there a a filler. (I hardly use it)
Drop it and take SS then MoG sucks...
I'd try and squeeze in Hasten as soon as possible and 6 slot IH at first chance you get...you want that back as soon as possible because thats your lifeline when solo'in tougher enemies, prehaps swap Resilience and Hasten round if you can't stand SS as a travel power.
I must admit, I have had no problems with the above build, the powers have been taken in that order with a healthy regard towards exemping, should the need arise, and claws is quick it its own right.
Horses for Courses.
My remake on Union, (for the newer content) is being built the same way.
(Recon on auto - 3 rech + 3 heal works wonders)
tougher enemies, what tougher enemies?
do you really need stamina though?
I've been playing a Claws/Regen (after already playing a Claws/Dark Armor thru to 50) and decided not to take Stamina and see how it goes without it.
I'm currently level 28 (just got Instant Healing... nice) and have to say that I'm not noticing too much that I havent got Stamina. I have had to slot some End Redux in a couple of my attacks (Focus and Eviscerate) to balance it a bit, but I'm hopeful that once they are all slotted up with 2 x Acc, 3 x Dam and 1 End Redux I won't even notice that I didn't put Stamina in the build.
From my view Claws/Regen is a very soloable build. Claws has alot of damage output witht he AoE's and good use of follow up. Spin, Eviscerate & Shockwave can be devistating if u line the mobs up well and will let you breeze through the missions.
Grabbing the majority of the Regen powers with a good IH will be great too.
I find with Dull Pain & Reconstruction i rarely need to use any others when soloing even on the hardest of diff. If you ahve any specific power questions let me know as I've played that build a hell of alot
Just PM

I dont 'need' it but its nice to have, step back for a few seconds (in an AV fight) and bang, ready to go again with a full end bar
I have a level 44 scrapper (my main) and I must say from lvl 16 onwards I absolutely loved him.
Soloing bosses/EBs/whatever can seem pretty dull however you're slowly but surely gonna kill him, all the fast (although a tad less powerful) damage plus the knockback u can getwill be a great asset. Also if you have a heavy/fast assault playstyle the claws/regen scrapper is even more fun.
My opinion is a tad biased but this is from personal experience.
Here is my current lvl 37 build.
All advice from the others are valid. For a regen scrapper swift and heal is not wasted powers, esp. not after i9. The swift brings faster between spawns and the health boosts your health and thus regen. Notice I have both hasten and air sup.
Air sup and Focus goes hand in hand. They both have almost 100% Knock down.
Attack chain:
Follow Up: boosts dmg & acc
Focus: Ranged dmg and KD
Slash: Debuffs def.
Air sup: KD
This chain can keep bosses locked down as long as all your KD attacks hit. With rec. red. in, Follow Up is perma and even buffs it self.
Hasten burns your end faster and even with all my inherent recovery I can get down to 20% end left in a solo fight vs. a boss + 2 lt. + 5 min. So stamina help. I guess with my future Numna recovery bonuses I might be able to respec out of fitness but until then im quite happy with my fitness pool
All in all you can go wrong soloing w. a claws/regen scrapper. Look me up on Union and i will SK your new scrapper.

At first I wasnt sure about Eviscerate, but I picked it. It takes some time to learn how to use it (target the middle mob of three etc.). It has a high crit chance and it is fun line up mobs to hit two or more with one click. Slotted with two or more Sirocco's Dervish IOs you will get a 10% Regen bonus
Hi guys im going to role a claws/regen scrapper, been playing for a while and i have altitis. i need to get one that im going to use alot and enjoy. do you think i would enjoy claws/regen? can it solo nicely? i would be greatful if someone could leave me some general info about claws because i rarely notice it in a team and i have never used it . thanks
