Kheldians, The hero epic's get locked out of 2 power pools whereas the villains epic's are not...
I would like to suggest adding a Kheldian only power pool such as the following:
Kheldian (Only) Power Pool:
6 Air Superiority (?)
14 Recall Friend (8 WS)
20 Hover (10 PB)
20 Teleport Foe (10 WS)
The suggested levels are based on both the current power pool levels (6, 6, 14 and 20)
and their availability to either of the kheldian archetypes.
In addition this would allow Peacebringers to 'Recall Friend's and Warshades to 'Hover' for longer between teleports.

Comments please:
(Oh and if you play a Kheldian please say so when you comment.)

The reason VEATS arent locked out of power pools is because they dont get travel powers which the epics get inherently.
PB gets Flight, Flight in nova form, Hover, teleport in Dwarf form and can take Group Flight.
WS gets TP, Flight in nova form, Recall Friend, teleport in Dwarf form, and can take TP Foe.
VEATS get squat travel wise, and so must take a travel power. -
Most use this macro (or a bind version)
/macro nova "powerexecname light nova$$gototray 6"
Assuming a Peacebringer with his/her nova powers in tray 6. -
Never seen Ultraviolet... its not nowhere, we have flatspace technology!
-
They could start with simple NPCs. Add them as decorative items with a simple animation (such as typing at keyboard, research, floating books etc) there wouldnt need to be any programming, just add an animated object.

Bases are supposed to be getting some love soon - in I13 or I14, I think.
We also need internal doors, water features, proper non-kinky beds, and some sort of windows and multi-level options
[/ QUOTE ]
I knew i'd forgotten something...
7. Proper doorways, from basic weak glass sliding doors, to fully armored vault doors. this would allow for the base to be customised for base raiding better, as the vital areas could be protected by heavy doors that would hold up to a lot of damage, and allow the defenders time to get into position.
8. Treasure - this would be a set of decorative items that could be placed in the vault to make it feel more vaulty. There could be Trolleys of Cash (like the Mayhem mission glowies), Stacks of Bullion, Piles of Gold and gems, Ancient Treasure Chests, etc. I'd guess this may be more a Villain side thing, the Heroes would probably give all their treasures to charity -
The best way to implement this would be similar to the Ouroboros Portal. Once a team mission is selected by the leader and Red-Starred then the power is castable.
The player with the portal power then casts it near to him/herself and it generates a portal linked to the mission entrance, this would then last 5 minutes, or until all the team members enter the portal. -
Some suggestions for upgrades to the base systems.
1. different base portals, keep the in-zone portals the same, but allow a choice in base. You could choose from a set of doors, an ancient portal, a tech Portal, and the existing generic portal. (Also make the existing portal directional so that people dont enter base behind the portal looking at a brick wall)
2. Add a Wall item, this would work like the existing Pillar item, but only be placeable along the edges of a map square (base raid rules for placement would still apply, so you cannot hide vital devices within 4 walls.
3. a space friendly teleport system, add teleports that can go to more than 2 locations. they would have a cost equal to the number of 2 location TPs, but take up less space overall for example a 6 location TP would take up the same space as 2 normal TPs but cost the same as 3.
4. Different versions of Teleport Beacons for base, add Floor standing versions that can be placed in front of the TP as well as the Wall Mounted versions currently available.
5. More floor/ceiling heights and smaller map blocks overall, The current bases are much too large in comparison to the player size and feel very empty and smaller blocks would allow for a cosier feeling base. this would also allow the doorways to be placed in the middle of the wall in Even sized rooms. -
My guess would be...
1. a solo TF/Mission strand to betray your origin, possibly around level 5 ish.
2. Epics would still be limited to the relevant sides, Kheldians are too good to turn evil (Nictus have been forced to be evil, and Warshades have already turned from the dark path), and the Soldiers of Arachnos are loyal to Lord Recluse (at least as loyal as any villain can be)
Hmm... maybe we could have Villainous Kheldians with a PB/WS going thru some missions leading to their capture and turning into a Nictus. -
/Signed... and expand to all storage lists (we already have sort on personal lists, just need storage now), Inspirations and Salvage can get quite muddled after a while as well.

This may have been posted before, if it has i apologise.
Having played the VEATS it struck me that they are basically a hybrid, with powers from the Soldier and the Crab/Bane archetypes. So what if they extended the hybrid idea to other archetypes.
This would work by choosing 2 powersets for your primary and secondary as opposed to the usual one.
Freely choosing from 2 sets might be rather overpowered (like someone taking 2 Tier 9 powers) so the following restrictions would be needed
1. When a power is chosen, the 2nd sets power at that tier is then locked and cannot be chosen at a later time.
2. Powers with identical effects are locked with the first one chosen locking the other. This wouldnt affect many sets but can you imagine a Scrapper with Regen and WillPower secondaries and the health pool, would have obscene regenerative abilities -
Could be good for TFs with a comic page detailing the backstory of each TF... but for missions in general it would be too much work and take far too much space to hold all the graphics. so /half-signed

So we need Normal, Buff (normal skin with bulging muscles), Reptilian, Hairy, Leafy, Robotic and Bio-organic
To those in power, please please, we would like this feature. -
Perhaps they should make it so that Trial players can use /r so they can reply to a tell, but not initiate a /tell conversation. This would still enable trialers to get onto a team.
While it would be possible for RMT spammers to use reply to spam in response to an honest team invite, they would be /ignorespammer'd so fast they wouldn't survive long. -
there already are some underwater bases, at least red-side. these are the bases you reach via a sub and start at the sub bay in the base...
but im guessing you want some indication that the mission is underwater, perhaps with glass tunnels where you can see the underwater landscape outside, glass domes where you can see fish and other undersea creatures (Lusca and Sally even) swimming overhead.
/Signed... we definately need more 'Active' scenery in missions. -

something tells me that, if this is implanted, some SG's are getting [censored] of all the ppl whispering them >_<
[/ QUOTE ]
Which is why an Eve style application system would work better. This way the SG leaders could flag the SG as Recruiting or not recruiting (probably at the SG registrar) and only when the SG is actively recruiting can people leave messages/applications to join the SG for them (again, most logically at the SG registrars in Atlas/Galaxy and Port Oakes).
Then the SG leaders can review the applications at their leisure and invite those characters they are interested in.
But for this to work, we would need a few more features.
1. Ability to see Character information from messages/tells even if the character is offline (even if its a basic version of character info such as character name, bio, when created and powers).
2. Offline SG Invitations, but only to a person who has applied to the SG, otherwise there would be chaos caused by some SGs spamming invites to anyone and everyone.
This would also allow Solo players to invite their alts into an SG to allow easier sharing of items between characters on the same account. (Unless the devs want to give us account level storage... something that lots and lots of players would love to have) -
would be nice for us veterans too... the 36 month pet is a little useless without /petsay, I dont mind him/her/it having no useable abilities, but we should at least get /petsay and pet emotes.

that's you, you might have just found the trick.
but then again, that doesn't change the fact that the convert rate is just wrong.
you might not use it that much, but other might.
i for one need a lot more then this basic amount, i can't even expand the place a bit.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which side are you playing? Villain side you can have a fully functional base with full TP/workshop and medical facilities on the standard (and rent free) 8x8 grid. Hero Side, you would need to be a little more choosy about which zones to take as your TP destinations, but should still be able to have a working base in the same plot.
I'd agree that the exchange rate is a little screwy... but perhaps a sliding scale of exchange rate would be better... so a small 1 or 2 man SG would get a conversion rate of 1:1 but a much larger SG would get the current rate of 1000:1
with levels of 10:1 and 100:1 somewhere in between. But as a consequence, make it so that bought prestige doesnt count against the SG rankings list... this way the list represents the actual activity of the SG and not the ability to earn millions of inf with lucky reward drops. -

the "breakfree" argument simply doesn't cut it for several reasons not least of which is that you don't have an infinite supply), is not fun.
[/ QUOTE ]
Using a Break Free heals all Mez at time of use, and grant some protection against further Mez for 60sec afterwards...
You dont need an infinite supply, if you decide to stay and fight a battle you cannot win because your getting locked down, and your toon has no Mez protection, then thats up to you. (you only really lose if they grief you by Mezzing you while an npc enemy is attacking... and no honorable PvPer does that... they get no rating if an npc gets the kill) and in all my PvP zone explorations its very rare I need more than 2 to escape from a troller/dom, and on the occasions I havent escaped its usually a gank and the DD classes kill you, rather than a lone troller/dom.
[Sarcasm] Whatever next... asking them to remove a blaster/corruptor ranged attacks because your melee toons keep getting kited and can't fight back? [/Sarcasm]
Trollers and Doms are a part of THIS game, and lots of people like to play as a troller/dom... totally nerfing an entire archetype just to suit players unwilling to learn how to deal with them is never ever going to happen. (I freely admit, that as a PvE'er I dont like PvP... But PvP zones have their rewards, double exp on missions in them, Badges, Temp Powers, etc. and so to complete the required tasks I must also accept the consequences.) -
It would add a lot of extra Costume creator power with little actual work on the devs part, just clone all the existing shoulder pieces, etc. and remove the extra one.
The only part that would need some dev time is if they decided to allow a mix and match system so you could wear a different shoulder pad, sleeve, glove, boot etc on both arms/legs. (I think that Chest, Legs and Chest details would need substatial amounts of work, so im not expecting anything in these areas)
It would be nice to see a robotic arm coming from a tattered sleeve of a jacket, while the other sleeve is whole and unmarked.
/signed. -
Small QoL suggestion... while most people put level and archetype in their LFT broadcasts, this is not universal.
So it would be nice if they would add 'Character Info' to the name link menu. -
/signed... but this will probably not arrive until other backpacks etc.

Make damage break Crowd Control abilities (mezz, hold, sleep etc). Being able to just CC someone/something constantly while also doing damage to them makes you literally invincible.
This is overpowered and no longer relevant to the games of today.
[/ QUOTE ]
Break Free... ever heard of them? how is it overpowered when you can carry something to remove the mez? -
Masterminds arent a set, they are an archetype... and as such why should they be villain-only, i would love to run a heroic MM (theres nothing that really matches MM hero-side).
OK so Necromancy and thugs are a little evil, but Mercenaries, robots and ninjas could all be guided by a noble leader with peaceful/lawful intent. Replace the Necromancer with the suggested spiritualist and replace thugs with police commander and there you go, a nice set of heroic masterminds.
