Were you in a mayhem mission? I have never in all time since they added mayhem missions been able to knock one of the Eagles that spawn from the "Eagle Death Squad" to drop.

Quote:Just wanted to chime in and say that it is going to be a long long wait to have all of your incarnate powers. Thanks for all the helpful insight guys. I'm gonna stick with the decision I made last night and wait until I have all my incarnate powers before I make another go at it.
Positron posted awhile back that the whole system is going to trickle out a lil bit in each new issue... -
This comes up each new issue.
It is just your perception. People notice the misses when they expect a hit to happen for just that reason, you were actively watching for it to happen
Download herostats and track your acc rates. Keep the combat stats window open and track hit rolls. I am sure that you will find that ACC is just fine. -
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Frankenslotting
the wiki there is a great source of info for all things in the game.
Also there is a global Chat chan called "N P C" that does a mentor project with newer players and provide info.
Hope thats gets you started on the info your looking for.
Im sure one of the build guru's will be along shortly to post a leveling build up for you to look over. -
You can slot level 50 common and Set IO's at level 47
You can slot Purple IO's and level 50
You can slot level 30's at level 27
I highly recomend frankenslotting starting at level 17 if your in Primal Earth and as early as level 10 in Praetoria. -
open your powers window.
In the upper left corner is a button for "combat attributes" click it to open a window with all the "real number" in real time.
You can right click items in this window and choose to track them while you play -
Quote:Its the new villain power you get for reaffirming that your evil thru tip missions...What villain power are you talking about here? Also, it is pretty much impossible to ever have your fury bar at 100%
For brutes it puts you at max fury when you click it.
Edit: Just looked in game and while the description says that "Brute will have their rage bar filled" the power details list it as only a 60% damage buff.
When you click the power it does indeed put you at 100% fury though -
Yeah you wont have a problem moving that on the market right now with all the new low level alts out in GR land

Quote:http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=117256 This guide is my personal fav to MM bindsOnce, a long time ago, I knew how to make binds to give minions orders...but now, alas, I have forgotten most of that and find myself nearing a time when I'll be playing MM to a team and I need to have the control to avoid my pets being the cause of my team's death.
Can someone please give me a rundown of what the MM bind commands are? -
Quote:ThisActually, the game goes out of its way to point out that you shouldn't be soloing EBs
unless you're sure you can do it.
Every mission with one that I can think of, that's not one of the early level "eb in
title only EBs," has one of those "you should get a team together. Someone's there
that's going to mess you up." warnings. And I think some of them do too.
Never seen a mission that contains an AV or EB that doesnt contain the "you may need to get some help" info in the mission text.
Bosses have to be enabled by a player period now. In the past on the default solo setting bosses didnt spawn either. -
The Mender Laz solo TF in Oro can be done in 20-30 min solo at lowest diff settings. That works out to 20 to 30 merits an hour for little difficulty and you get to stomp all those Nazi's into the dirt at the end of the 3rd mission.

Fast Food Workers
You Get One Store Manager, Two Crew Trainers and Three New Hires.
Special power unique to the set: We Got a Bus (Spawns a mob similar to Gang War) only and causes all pets to get a dam buff for 90 seconds -
They create a buff zone centered on your MM, the same size as the bubble to stay in BG mode.
They are always on and will buff all of your pets close enough to the MM to benefit. I believe its a 40ft radius but I am sure someone will be along with the right number if my memory is failing me. -
Great thread, inspired me to finally start a SoA of my own and its been a blast so far.
Looking forward to your continuing adventures -
The Chat server is down also. And Global friend's are blank. Guess I am going to be thankful that they backed up everything this week for us.

The Steadfast +3def can be easily had for 5mil and even better can be had for free from level 10-14 bronze rolls from the AE

I have been reading thru old posts on traps/ and noted that in the past traps summoned pets counted as team members for the purpose of determining how much of an End discount old Vigilance provided.
I am wondering if this has been fixed in the new Vigilance or if when I summon up a acid mortar, ffg, seekers, and poison trap I am going to take a 4 team member hit into my damage boost? -
Just to rehit what some others have offered if your on Infinity or have a toon on Infinity you'd like to make a go of it with let me know and I'd be happy to give you a hand.
-
I didn't notice if the OP covered it but if all else fails this TF will let you run it at -1 on the diff scale.
Solo you can get it down to around 20min with the right load out of skittle for Nosferatu, the rest of the TF is cake. I like 3 large purples, 6 large reds and what ever else fall during the mission.
As mentioned by others the Envenomed Dagger temp power can work wonders, pop a couple purples and hit him with the dagger, with no regen hes just a bag of HP for you to DPS. -
For a Corr Fire/Dark and Fire/Traps both do just fine on SO's
On a Defender just about anything with Traps/ is almost to easy even on just SO's -
Quote:Correct me if Im mistaken but I thought that all attacks could have only one damage tag and one positional tag. So although tis true that the majority of attacks deal some smashing or lethal damage, its not necessarily true that the majority of attacks have the smashing/lethal damage tag.
You are indeed mistaken. An Attack such as Bone Smasher is both energy and smashing damage as well as having the melee positional tag on it. -
Quote:Maybe its my senility kicking in but One with the Shield and Strength of Will are the only "godmodes" that ignore + recharge I thought. They are also the only two Godmodes on the 360 second timers for that very reason.Never heard of such a thing, but here are my initial thoughts:
1) Most godmodes are only up 1/3 of the time (120s duration, 360s recharge). Do you really want to only play 2 out of every 6 minutes?
2) I hope to god you never team with this build, or if you do, don't do the phase shift thing.
3) Godmodes are generally not affected by +recharge at all.
4) Most godmodes do not increase damage output, just defense/resist and maybe recovery/regen.
5) I don't see that you'd gain much else by doing this. Yeah, you could drop a few defensive powers, but then you'll have to fill that with lots of attacks and pool powers, and I don't think there's actually enough of those worth taking anyway.
tl;dr - Frankly, I don't see the point.

Super Jump with a plus 3 jump SO give moves you at 63.6 mph at lets you reach ~ 158 feet of height.
Combat Jumping with 6 plus 3 jump SO's doesn't change your jump speed at all and only lets you jump ~21 feet high.
Hurdle and Combat Jumping both 3 with green SO's will get you ~50mph and ~33 feet of height. Thats about 5mph faster than base fly speed.
