Well, if you don't like it, don't look at it or post on it. Easy. Most of the posts in this section are about the same thing anyway, just from "buddies". So, go away.
As far as the other questions/comments.
I farm a BM map. (a warrior village on wifes account, but same baddies) I have it set at 0x8 to maximize speed. I set it to +2,3 or 4 x8 to PL each account. I either use a fire/kin or an elec/sd. I actually have a fire/kin on the other account as well for farming.
The items i sold were the 4 purples listed on the other SS, plus the LotG and a Numina that had dropped.
Yes, drops are random, but since ive been farming, i never go more than a couple days without a purple drop. But to be honest, i think AE farming actually pays off more due to the amount of recipes that you can get. It's far more than the 3-5 IO drops per farm map.

Ok, without name calling, flaming, hate, imma try this again just for giggles. Im 2 hours into a farming and selling profits infl cap goal. Just to see how many hours farming and selling drops it would take to hit the cap. No market schemes other than listing and selling drops. Via WW or vendor depending on which pays the most. Im not listing each run how many items fell. Its about the same each time.
Recipes, salvage almost full each run. Mostly commons, a couple yellow, and so on. In 9 runs ive gotten 4 purples to fall. More purples than orange recipes and orange arent the rare ones.
Heres a pic of what ive sold stuff for. (not including the pvp recipe)

I wonder if purples will sell for more or less? Considering that more people will have access to them, if there are more on blue than red. Or if they will go down, considering there will be more on the market....
Should i sell them all now, or wait? lol. Dunno... -
Awesome. Congrats! I can't ever seem to get into the playstyle of either of the 2 forms, tho i want to.

Maybe /ice melee. Ice isn't really strong but something about using Ice Patch, with the ability to sap endurance sounds fun.

Imma start farming and selling only, no flipping or looking for niches, and see how long just selling drops takes. Bet it still takes less than a week. I'll do only PI, then do only AE.

Just buy some Gift of the Anciets +run speed, and theres a couple of sets (cant think right off which ones) that increase run speed. Mine runs 28 mph in Granite. It's fun to watch people's reactions. lol.

I don't find the cones too bad, yea I would prefer AoE but who wouldn't?
I'll take a look at the set you mentioned, I see it scales up so I will have to replace them every 5 levels or so, is it an expensive set?
Depends on what expensive means to you. That set isn't like, say, a purple set or kinetic combats. I think it's pretty cheap, really. IF you wanna leave your global, i'll toss you whatever i have on my toons. I usually have a couple here and there cause i don't use them. -
My demon/dark is loooovely even at 38. I do a warrior replica is the AE with no problems at all.

My highest is like 155-160. Its only down for a few seconds. Not too much to even tell. To reach the final few seconds will cost more than its worth, imo. Anything within 10 seconds is fine by me.

Kins can max out their own damage from just one person's FS. Kins can give each other +50% recharge plus another 60% from stacked siphon speed. Emp gives a perma +100% with AB. Both offer "limitless" endurance through AB and transference, but transference can miss. ID has KB protetion, CM does not. Emp relies late game on regen that is constantly there. Kin relies on a heal that can miss and is in melee range. Emps have +Def and +tohit. With 95% damage from enhancements, 31 from fort, 39 from 2 assaults, and 20 from new vig, emps can still push close to the damage cap if they grab //dark and get soul drain, making FS a neglegible difference.
My vote goes to 2 emps. -
1 could make a killing on lev 25 accuracies and end red alone. I just came back after a couple months off and they are hitting 400k.... REALLY? Ouch. Even for a multi billionaire, im not paying ridiculous amounts. It cost like 10grand to make or so. (if memorized)

I made one after watching Dechs video. Hes 33 atm and very fun. Im not commenting on the build because the others are spot on. I cant wait til i get the epics and IO this guy.

I was thinking of 2 emps also. Combined with Archery on both. 2 RoA every 16secs or so plus all the defense that the other posters are talking about sounds nice. My other thought was 2 kin/arch, for the added damage. Which do you guys think would be better? Kin or Emps? Ive never tried Emp so i have no clue as to even how to slot it.

So, maybe 2 Emp/Archery since RoA is up more often? Or 2 Kin/Arch for the FS? Hmmm. lol.

I avoid the Nuke on my defender simply because it is NOT like Rain of Arrows or Full Auto.
My preference would be for all the Defender versions be converted over to "crashless".
The lower damage is not an issue in that circumstance, so you essentially would be giving all defenders the same level of performance that only a few sets currently enjoy.
The reason I would prefer them be crashless rather than "Full" strength, is that it would not be something Blasters could point to as a "balance" concern, and secondly, Defenders have a specific "duty" on teams and having a "low-level" nuke which ALSO drains your endurance accomplishes nothing really. It doesnt END the battle, and in all but a few powerset combinations, it will END your contribution to the battle from that point on.
Now time to make an Ice def for me and Ice blaster for wife and go to work.

There are many different ways to go about this, and to some extent it's a question of which play styles you enjoy most. You should also take into account time to level to whatever level you want; for instance, you might prefer to level to 33, turn off XP, and farm AE for tickets, which you use for recipe rolls which would give you mostly level 30 (for 1-30s) and 33 (for everything else) rare recipes, which you can then craft.
In some cases, you might trade off some efficiency of farming for other traits, such as enjoyability of the play while doing the farming.
Here's the breakdown. If you want purples only, the fastest way is to get a farm mission in PI. Set it to -1x8. Since 47-50 drops purples, it's faster to kill 49's than 54's.
If you want fast inf. Get an AE farm mish. Roll 35-39 silver drops. It drop procs, Kinetic Combats, Numinas, and Miracles, ToD, Oblits. Those sell up to 200 mil each.
I farm with a Fire/Kin troller and an Elec/SD scrapper on blue. Both are very efficient. I've also seen Plant/Kins and Plant/Storm even do very good.
It depends on the map also. Freak farms stun alot. I avoid it. Demons deflect alot also, taking longer to kill. (yes, even on high end builds) Council and Warriors tend to be the easiest. Family is, too, without Bosses. I think they do mental damage along with Crazed.
Good luck. Have fun. And if by chance you have 2 accounts, like me, stop a toon at 35 for your own recipes in AE since WW is mostly dried up under 50.

After seeing Dechs vids i'm in process of a dark/fire tank myself. He's 28 atm. Yet to play him tho. Waiting til 32 so i can IO him. I've always wanted a dark tank but listened to how bad they were. Now that ive seen otherwise, its on like donkey kong.
And on a side note, can your stoner run 28mph in GA? Mine can.

Well, we have water in our lakes and oceans in game. We have the waterspout on villians. And whats the stealth/def aura on heroes that looks like running water? I think lookwise, it could be done. May not be the OMG LOOK AT DAT, but i think it could work.
