Stone tank + ninja run

Can anyone confirm that ninja run works while rooted on a stone tank?

No it does not.

Just buy some Gift of the Anciets +run speed, and theres a couple of sets (cant think right off which ones) that increase run speed. Mine runs 28 mph in Granite. It's fun to watch people's reactions. lol.

Thanks to you both. I'll look into the Gift of the Ancients. It hadn't occurred to me to look over specific IOs to address the lack of speed with the stone tank.

Devote an extra pair of slots to Swift as well. By itself, it won't help a LOT, but, in combination with the GOTA +run speeds you won't feel as if you're wading uphill through cold, chest-deep molasses.

there are many +run speed bonuses out there.

I do use Ninja Run as my travel power because of all the +run speed. With NR and sprint, my stone tank runs at 66mph. I could get it faster, but I would lose the +recharge bonuses, which are just as important. Having a recharge bonus in Granite is nice. (I really wish I had made a stone tank a long time ago instead of my fire tank.)

YMMV---IMO

Also, +Movement bonuses count as different from +Run bonuses; they stack

My Stoney never calls for Speed Boost. Never.
