    Corrupt Pigg

I get them all the time, especially when in the Underground Trial or when trying to log in a character to the new Atlas Park for the first time. It is really getting old. Last night it happened in the middle of the Avatar fight in the UGT and by the time I got back in it was over so I didn't get any of the rewards.

    UStream notes?

I'm sure, was just wondering if anyone who watched it heard anything worth passing along. Happy to wait, just curious.

    Anything noteworthy from today's UStream?

    Liberty Down?

So I just got a lost connection to mapserver and now Liberty appears as down on the official site along with Freedom.

The only reason a Breakfree works in that situation is if enough other people on your team are running Tactics, if you already have some confuse protection from your powersets somewhere, or if enough people are hitting Clarions to take up the slack, and there is slack to take up.

Two basic BF's will keep you clear of it though, so a simple variation on the Keyes strategy of 'bring a full tray of greens and restock in the hospital' using BF's instead of greens will work.
I was on a scrapper, so yes I had some mez protection. Honestly I still am not bothered by this attack. Does this mean that Cortex's confuse attack is a gimmick? Being inflicted with the Vahz wasting disease is a gimmick? I welcome new and unusual attacks that require planning and trial and error to accomplish successfully. If the confusion effects had remained at the strength they initially were on beta, then yes this would have been more "gimmicky." The way it is now, I personally don't have a problem with it. I also don't think it is unusual for 1-2 people to already have the clarion power on a league of 12-24 people. Does the fight take some experience to be successful? Yes. If 70% of the people are failing the fight 100% of the time, then yes the battle is to gimmicky. But I have heard of far more successes than failures (most failures stemming from the lichen-infested war walker battle) to call this to gimmicky. Again everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is just mine.
  6. As far as global channels on Liberty, here are a few:

    LB
    LFA
    SisterhoodFriends
    Ghost Legion

There may be others, but those are the main ones. If you are looking for incarnate trials, they noramlly form up in the Rikti War Zone (formerly the Crash Site).

I have gotten the same error on 3 of the last 5 UG trials I have run. Two were on trying to zone out of the trial. The third time was in the middle of the Avatar fight.
  8. You really don't need a specific AT for the final fight either. I find that a medium breakfree takes away the confusion affect.

    Flying Monkeys?

Reminds me of my favorite old bug that has since been fixed. Pull out a nemesis staff on a khled and then switch form to a squid. The nem staff used to stick through the middle of he model.

    New This Week?

So besides the first sig arc, is thee anything else new in the store today?
  11. Just because it took many, many runs to finally get. I am most proud of Master of Keyes.

There is no reticle, but the targeted characters get a message and the word targeted under their buff bar. Staying clear of targeted teammates will ensure you aren't hit with most of the AOE attacks.

  14. I actually have the opposite problem. I renewed for six months on 9/12, but only got the September points up front instead of the whole amount.
  15. This was the only reason I switched to a multimonth plan. Guess I'll be switching back.
  16. As much as I have enjoyed some of the past ustreams and it was nice for them to highlight some of the community sites, these ustreams are quickly becoming a big waste of time. And the VIP start date teasing was not cool at all.
  17. You'll be missed. When CoH goes free to play you should pop in every once in awhile just to say hello. Good luck with the business and with everything.

    Cheers!
  18. Weird how it isn't affecting some people. None of the people I regularly team with have been experiencing this issue.
  19. There is a post from the community team that the account server is having issues. It doesn't look like we have seen an update for 4 hours.

I know a lot of people hate this trial, and call me a sadist, but I actually love it. The gimmicks are easily managed when you know that Antimatter freezes time at 80%, 50% and 20% of his life meter. Dragging him close to the terminals he uses to regen (always in the same order) will cause the freeze time mechanic to be much shorter. If the league leader has people stop attacking at 85%, 55%, and 25% of his life until after obliteration beam fires then deaths are easily avoided by being frozen in the beam.

If people hate this trial so much, I can't wait to see how hate is going to be leveld on the Underground trial with the regening war walker fight and the Avatar of Hamidon's confuse AoE.
  21. Finally got the MO on my badger, so I can bring my 50+3 emp to any other attempts.
