Not everyone lives in a show house with every piece of furniture precisely matching every other.

I have dark wood furniture, a black metal bed, and built in wardrobes with white doors in my bedroom... oh and a light green bookcase, I think it looks fine.

I was trying to do a similar thing in my base, not with the tper but up to a raised section of a room. I was using the plain square blocks but it was leaving a gap. Pity they couldn't introduce a counter with no drawers on the side you could place ramps on.

Super Reflexes is in for a big time buff in issue 7 - at least when fighting foes above your level (and lets face it we normally do). Given that Ice Armour and SR were both given buffs (?issue6) to try and compensate for defences weakness (ie do badly against boss,lt,high level), I suspect both will be slightly overpowered in issue 7.

And lets face it, if regen has got a big target saying "nerf me" then it should have

Seems to be getting a bit of loving and hating in I7:

• Reduced the effectiveness of Super Reflexes defense to AoE attacks (stalker and scrapper). With I6, Super Reflexes was given a very high bonus to AoE attacks in order to make it more effective against bosses and Arch Villains, since they typically use AoE powers, but with the new To Hit calculations, this is no longer necessary.

• Super Reflexes Passive Defense abilities have been increased in effectiveness by 1/3rd.

I'm not really here anymore, but arrived in the first couple of days of retail.

Haven't played in a couple of weeks and finally bit the bullet to deactivate my account only to find I did it the day after it had renewed for a new month, so I still get posting rights for a while.

While I haven't explored all the content (most tf's went undone as I never had the time to do any of the longer ones) I've seen a fair bit. Just got a little jaded so finally jumped ship and set off for pastures new with a few friends I met here.

Movement is tactics. Just standing there and taking hits is bad tactics, especially if you're a squishy. The best way to avoid hits is to move around, or as you call it "running away" and attack when ít's best suited to you.

If we didn't move around we would be as dumb as the NPC's in this game.

By that way of thinking when I were a young lad being taught how to fight I should have stood there and let people well far and above my weight class beat the stuffing out of me. Sorry to dissapoint bu I used my slighter and shorter frame to my advantage. I moved out of the way and got in close inside my oppentents reach to deliver blows and such. And I was told I was doing right by my teachers. Had I have follwed what you consider tactics its likely my teachers would have not bothered coaching me anymore.

Probably the greatest boxer who ever lived, Muhammad Ali, used movement as his prime weapon. There were many bigger and more powerful boxers than him but he rarely stood there and took it. They couldn't hurt him because they couldn't catch him.

See TG is in Sirens, anywhere he is there's always a crowd.

First rule of PvP, follow the TG.

Other than the brave few PvP in the arena was never that popular. If you want to find the pvpers I would imagine check the pvp zones, just a guess.

Also I still want to consider MoGs value. I have seen info that suggests a 3 slotted def MoG is good in PvP and even can get past Hurricane. Natuarally a Dull pain prior to it otimises it. Especially with the bug buff of HP increase that was left. Or has this been a myth?

I don't know if ED changed it or if it's significantly different to hurricaine but I know Rose Knight would activate MoG to allow him to walk into bubbles to beat the [censored] out of the controller which was why we were so successful against teams who relied on this tactic.

Actually I don't like BS because of the animation, it doesn't feel as *crunchy* as I would like it. Katana gets away with being *swishy* but BS needs more bite to the animations.

Ahh but by that reasoning then you would also be the worst pvp SG on defiant.

You can have them as a package deal, two titles for the price of one.

In the dim and distant past 'I think' a half hearted reason was given along the lines that because of the weight divisions available sking wasn't seen as necessary.

More likely something to do with they couldn't get it to work right so they left it out, maybe.

The first raid I did I had no idea where the targetter was for the whole thing. Instead I set myself to follow Spad as he was my team leader, so if I attacked anything I shouldn't have I could blame him.

Yeah mine says this to. It may be that they have changed the power but it definetly was pants, either by accident or design. I haven't had it since I respecced it out, but that was probably 9 months ago now.

The ice epic does have flash freeze which is an AoE sleep. Months ago I read someones guide on the US site which mentioned some epic power which was described as 'what Frozen Aura should have been like' but I can't remember if this was referring to flash freeze. I never took the cold mastery set.

I almost always solo'd on rugged.

Being single target I found managing big mobs a pain. I preferred to cut through missions faster with fewer mobs and pick up the bonuses at the end. Though with my blaster I resented soloing, always preferring big teams.

The secondary isn't great, quite a few of the powers are take it or leave it imo. FA was useless no matter how many accuracy SO's went in it, before ED I tried it with 4 or 5 iirc and accuracy was still rubbish, and that was against much lower mobs. It was pointless trying it against even mobs or higher.

If that was true why do blasters not have it in their primary/secondary?

I suppose that's the problem I'm not sure if I'll use it for pve, pvp or nothing. I really need to decide then the build will really sort itself out. What are the musts for a pvp build, if I go that way?

My previous build had icepatch as soon as you could take it, it single handedly brought me my tankbuster badge. However as I got nearer to 50 it became less important. Probably my first 45 levels where done without tanks or controllers so I was controllerlite for my team. This is also my first build without BFR, my last build had 4 holds, FR, BFR, FT and Cryofreeze ray from the epics.
