Im sure most who have used the arena will agree to get good balanced match's you need to team up with others. So why cant you Sk friends? Maybe im missing something but i just cant work out why you cant Most of the PvP(arena) on union is done by 50s and sometimes you get lower lvl people wanting to join a match. If you do let them join you gimp 1 team by having a lower lvl hero on one side. But my main concern is that it can be a bad experience for them, maybe putting them of useing the arena all togeather.
So why cant you SK?

I was wondering this as well when the arenas first came out, I don't think there ever was any official note on it.

The SK drops when you enter the match itself. You can't SK anyone in the arena, but nobody knows why.

Does level even impact that much? I mean, I don't think the usual ToHit-vs-Defence checks (ala PvE) operate in PvP, nor the damage scaling.

4 or 5 lvls dosnt make much difference but after that it does.

Its hit points. There is a huge difference in hp from lvl1 to lvl50.
There is also a lot of AT modifiers that scale with lvl. A low lvl cant hurt a high lvl since his damage is poor.

I once tried 5 lvl 10-20's against my lvl50. They couldnt hurt me, and the lowest lvl's I could almost 1 hit kill.

Why dont you just scale to their lvl? Arena fights are still fun even if they arent at lvl50.

In the dim and distant past 'I think' a half hearted reason was given along the lines that because of the weight divisions available sking wasn't seen as necessary.

More likely something to do with they couldn't get it to work right so they left it out, maybe.
