  1. I think we need some combat logs posted to see how often it goes off. I'm interested too.
  2. My only guess is that it hasn't been proliferated yet.

Why thank you! For the advice AND the compliment!

I stand corrected....and mildly disappointed. Was planning on taking it in a respec. womp womp...

That's what I thought too. If no one says anything, there's nothing to critique. Nice build, man.
  7. Mids is cool. Having Admin on my work PC and being able to install it is cool as well. The auto-powers have generics in there cause of the whole needing to use slots sparingly mindset that having 3 more power choices brings. Critique away, folks.

  8. I don't know about atlas, but in Cap au Diable, I love throwing a vial of bees at the Luddites and watching them run for their lives.
  9. beyeajus

    Procs in pets?

correct. Achille's heel: chance for -RES is amazing in soldiers, spec ops, jounin, enforcers, etc. since most of their moves involve the same debuff. just another example.

And they work in Recharge intensive pest too.

    EDIT: lol, pest
  10. I'd love to check one out if i just had the patience to get a hero to 20. Can't..stop...making...praetorians!

you sir, are a diligent one.

also, sounds good to me, OP. Giant rampaging stuff at your command is always welcome with this guy.
  13. Ghost Widow's and Scorpion's are easiest.

Scirroco's is good if you're elec armor, tons and tons of Mus, you will be sapped.

Mako's is pretty good except for the friggin' power fonts. God I hate them, but if you like soloing EB's then go for it.

you only have to go through the first 5 or 6 missions before you get the respec/PPP, but fighting recluse at the end is fun.

It varies greatly between the toon I'm playing, but on my widow for example, 6 slot health is great for the +HP and +regen and +recov values that you get for 6 slotting health. (3 numinas, 1 regen tissue, 1-2 miracle, panacea proc too possibly). Defense based toons, imo, get the most mileage out of this, so that they can fully regenerate before getting hit again.
I must try this. My EM/WP brute had to make an embarassing retreat the other day from a random Rikti Heavy EB that he decided to pick a fight with on a whim in RWZ. And that was with SoW on. First time I've played him in a while though, might just be rusty, but he just has health 3-slotted with Gen health IOs.

    Mercenary: Serum

what about slotting an achilles heel: chance for -RES in your soldiers and spec ops?
Grab an envenomed dagger for -Regen too, it helps. I wish they could just cut the crash out of it and lessen the recharge time in Serum, at least.
  17. I'd say go with Mace for the Web Envelope, not to mention for power boost, it will enhance pretty much all the effects of your traps including FFG. Good times.
  18. beyeajus

    Power Boost?

the catgirl avatar probably threw him off. Man, your avatar is ever-changing. It's awesome.
  19. Again with the bugs?! I can't have a bug control dom (yet) and MR. Samuel_Tow tossed the idea around about a bug MM, which also sounds awesome, so I'm settling for a toon with what we already have and an insect-ish costume, probably really small with whatever I can come up with for a suit/head/antennae, etc.

Here's the ideas for insect toons I've come up with so far:

Sonic/Elec blaster, maybe named Hissing Shockroach (the name is really making me want to go with that, but that's another thread)

???/Thorn dom, the barbs just scream insect to me.

Fire/Rad corr- This is a good combo to begin with from what I hear, and it would be cool for a some sort of fire ant toon.

any other ideas? I can't ask to see any shots of costumes that anyone has put together cause my work computer blocks sites like photobucket and flikr...
  20. gotta admit though, the Big Bang Kamehameha was pretty crazy.
  21. Looks good. Just curious, why the Air burst and Detonation in Creeprs? Frankenslotting? Creepers is a great opportunity to proc it up for more damage. there's Impeded Swiftness: chance for smashing, Trap of the Hunter: chance for Lethal, Posi Blast: chance for Energy, Explosive strike: chance for smashing, Javelin Volley: chance for lethal, all great to have in a targetted AoE attack, well, not ALL of them at once, that's crazy. and the Air Bursts and Detonations don't help with your perma-domming (good job getting it by lvl 38 btw )

If you're using decimation, the chance for buildup is fun to have as well. Personally I specc'd out of the chance for heal as well, found it didn't heal all that much too often, YMMV I guess.

Just food for thought too when you hit 50, the purple immob recipes are pretty cheap compared to the other purple sets these days. Would make for easier perma-dom achievement with less slots.

    Gratz again on the P-dommin'er
  22. So I wouldn't even need the DEF procs to softcap. That's cool, leaves the slots open for other procs, I like!

it's pretty interesting so far, I'm used to taking hasten early and no personal powers, but I don't find a need for hasten this time. I stayed away from PFF and DF, and will probably skip RF as well. And I wound up taking the gunshots to act like a 3rd punk pretty much, the more firpower the better until I hit the PPPs, which will probably be Mace Mastery for the power boost. First time I've enjoyed /FF, lol.

oh that would be cool though

My question is, are the War Walkers currently implemented in I18 the standard? Cuz, geeze.

I know for balance reasons they can't all be monsters or AVs, but it seems like a stiff wind could take em down at their current iteration of Boss.

Something that big oughta be a little tougher to drop than a single Death Mage.

I'm hoping there'll at least be Elite Boss versions, or something. Cuz if that's really all Praetoria's got, man, they oughta just stay home and spend the war chest on raising sharks.

With laser beams on their heads.
You're right. What we need is even BIGGER robots! Hear hear!
