One game's problem was that it couldn't be made to work on a console, the other game's problem is that it will be made to work on a console.

FSAA is my usual culprit of slideshowism when dual instancing. Dropping it down a notch on one or both instance clears it right up.

Quote:So Im really annoyed with the current trend of cake decorating. On all the shows they have the cakes that are concepts they just use tons of fondant to make it look like anything. Fondant isnt that tasty. Quit decorating cakes to look like things and just make cakes that taste good.

All I know is that Ice Blasters are the FOTM.

Quote:Ah, you need to get Mid's Hero Designer found here making such questions easy to find out on your own.Which uses less endurance/sec?
Base level Sprint + CJ toggled on, or ninja run?
Until then...
Ninja Run: .46 End/sec (unenhanceable)
Sprint: .29 End/sec
CJ: .07 End/sed
-----------------
Total: .35 End/sec
With one even-level SO EndRedux in each:
Sprint: .22 End/sec
CJ: .05 End/sed
-----------------
Total: .29 End/sec -

Quote:1. No one said anything disrespectful of their Devs.Competition is good, you guys dont even tried that game and you are trolling against it just because you love CoX. I love CoX but theres no reason to be disrespectful with other games or devs.
I think that is an inmature behavior.
2. Games don't have feelings. They're not human beings. They're not gods, either. There is no reason one should have a moral imperative to have an a priori stance of respect toward them. Lack of respect toward a game is not a sign of immaturity -- but anthropomorphizing games might be.

I'm wary of being suckered into these types of series that get canceled before any type of explanatory revelation (Journeyman), or, if they become popular, the writers make up stupid stuff as they go along (Lost... yes, I said Lost).

Quote:Nope, just go to the level 25-29 bracket and chose "A Madman's Council". Do that, and Hess will be unlocked to you.Do I have to complete some kind of Oros mission first to be allowed to run Lars
arc ?
In the same way, do the level 30-34 arc, "Crossing Over" to unlock the Katie Hannon TF, and the level 10-15 arc, "The Heart of the Hollows" to unlock the Cavern of Transcendence Trial.
This all presumes you have access to the Flashback Crystal. -
The real competition will be the PC users v. the console users of the same game. Talk about grab your popcorn and pull up a chair...
-
I'm guessing that the Praetorian arcs will eventually make their way to the flashbackmachine.
The Posi and the Devs are pretty good (now) about making sure badgers can access all arc- and mission-based badges (with the exception of Mayhem/Safefguard). -
Vanessa's copies are paper tigers, they only have a few hp each. If you don't have an AoE attack, buy the grenades temp power from the Market.

Did you try deleting the mouse driver and let windows use its default? That has helped quite a few people in the past.

You cut off the first part of the HijackThis log. Please repost that.
Unrelated to the pigg problem, you could stand to update your video driver.
You have way too many background programs running on that machine especially since it's only 1 GB of RAM. CoH uses more than 1 GB of memory which means caching to the hard drive. That causes slow load times and stuttering when moving around quickly. And with all those other programs... <shudder>.
You could stand to have a complete system hard driver reinstall: Save everything; make sure you have system reinstall software; wipe hard drive; reinstall system, programs, and data.
As you reinstall, keep running HijackThis to keep track of all those programs that put themselves into the start up registry and nuke the ones that shouldn't be doing that. A well behaved program only starts running when you click on it and removes itself completely when it's done. To get an idea of all the junk in your computer see here:
http://www.pchell.com/support/hijackthistutorial.shtml
Also, cut and paste your HijackThis log to here to understand it better: http://www.hijackthis.de/
It could be you don't have enough memory to deal with that pigg file.
Another way to check if it's software related is to follow the instructions here which turns off all those other programs that have insinuated themselves into the start-up registries.
Soooo...
1. At least one more GB of RAM.
2. Clean your start up registry: Go in their and hack everything out. OR Use the instructions above to turn it all off. OR my recommendation: Clean reinstall of hard drive (this will improve performance in many ways).
3. Update your graphics driver. -
1. In the game try these commands:
/unbind mousewheel
2. Outside the game try these actions:
/bind MOUSEWHEEL "+camdistadjust"
A. Reboot
B. Delete your mouse driver and let windows install default.
C. Go to website of mouse manufacturer for an updated driver. -
And then maximize the window once you get into the game. Some people forget they can do that.

Quote:We've had no official word on this.I spent an hour and a half to two hours ToTing in a costume on a level 4-6 character yesterday. I got costume salvage as normal though the spawns still seem broken with many boss+lt spawns and such. A bit much for a solo low level character.
I never got a Halloween Tip. My question is can the Halloween Tip be gained by characters lower than level 20? I can't seem to see any information on that in this thread. If it is gated to level 20 that seems...well not a great idea.
All the time I was ToTing in costume under 20, I didn't get the Halloween Tip, so, I'm guessing you need to be 20+ to get it. Dedicated badgers will probably have to powerlevel to 20 or join a team. -
Quote:No one signed an NDA at the panel.Umm... Wow. I was speculating on the story for I19 and I20 and how the I think the Devs will use the invasion as an excuse to give the buildings in the game a face lift and remove the war walls.
How did this devolve into a discussion on the Signed NDA?
Honestly, I think the Signed NDA, had to do with the fact that they had people in a room, and said "hey, while there here, we can just have them sign something." -
Only the Hellfire is customizable. That came up in Testing and we were told that the customization of the other demon attacks to match was beyond the scope of the UI.
-
The whole point of the chart is that if you can describe the woman with a few words to characterize her, then she's not a strong female character with any depth.
Or... it's showing that there are indeed strong female characters but they often get dismissed with a few words casting them into a shallow type.
Either way... men are pigs. -
Quote:I would like to hear from anyone who had done the halloween tip mission, finished, trick or treated some more. and gotten a second halloween tip mission - the next one, not the same one.
Has anyone gotten any halloween tip mission other than the first one?
I believe the use of the singular was on purpose. There is only one Halloween Tip Mission. When the reward menu is working correctly, you'll have to do the same mission four times to earn all the rewards.Quote:This YearÂ’s Halloween Event Includes... a brand new Halloween Tip Mission. These events aren't limited to Primal Earth either, but can also be found in Praetoria!... Specifically we are most interested in:...
- Are players receiving the Tip Mission...

Quote:Try these badges...In case people were wondering why I've not included the CoV DVD edition, the Mac pack/architect edition, and the 30 day mini-booster, the reason is that I can't find the authbits needed for them.
Mini-booster: JumpJetPack or KoreanJetPack
CoV DVD: ComboCostume or DVD
