Cartoon Network - Tower Prep
I'm wary of being suckered into these types of series that get canceled before any type of explanatory revelation (Journeyman), or, if they become popular, the writers make up stupid stuff as they go along (Lost... yes, I said Lost).

Oh, I forgot to mention one of the show's writers and executive producers is Paul Dini.
Yes, that Paul Dini.

It was ok. Definitely has some potential. However whoever is handling the music needs to learn the meaning of unobtrusive. While most of the score works well there are a couple times when the music is so out of place and in your face that it takes you right out of the show. It's like putting in training montage music at a time when there is no montage.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
I wonder if I'll be able to get a Tower Prep uniform for my guy in Fusion Fall.
I haven't actually watched the show, but.... well..... y'know.... LOOT!!
Even though I'm annoyed that CN has a number of "live action" programs instead of being just animation, I watched the sneak premier of Tower Prep, which ran after their homemade, live action Scooby Doo movie.
The regular premier is Tuesday at 8p with additional showings during the week.
It's sort of a mix of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters with The Prisoner.
Premise, main character Ian gets suspended for fighting from school, again, for defending a friend. While playing an MMO online he is rendered unconscious by a strange tone coming over the headset and wakes up in a boarding school.
All the adults are only referred to by their title or subject taught, no names (Math, Science, History, Coach, Headmaster). None of the students know where in the world they are. The forested school grounds is surrounded by a tall, humming wall on three sides and cliffs overlooking the ocean on the fourth. There are "things" in the woods at night to encourage the students to stay within the campus.
The school's stated purpose is to unlock the unique potential in each student. And it appears each student have a talent. Ian's ability is to "see" what is about to happen and react to it, which is why he's good at fighting. He quickly befriends three others, each with their own ability. Nothing that's a super power, yet. Their mutual goal is to escape and go home.
I found it interesting, you may want to set your DVRs to catch it as well.
