  1. With Dark Mind Control and Dark Illusion Control, I'm not sure we really need Dark Control anymore. Sure new sets are always nice, but I'd rather have Electric, Air, or Water.

    Nope, it's the Blue Mitochondria's chain lightning power. (also used by Famine: Rider, iirc)
  3. You can't chain Blazing Arrow and Aimed Arrow, so you might as well take Snap as a filler.

    Bosses have ALWAYS scaled down for solo players on the lowest difficulty. With the new difficulty options, it is a separate option which defaults to "scale down bosses".

    A scaled down boss has the HP and End pool of a Lt, and the mag prot of a Lt, but they keep all their powers.

    Also: Bone Daddies are nasty. Always were.

    I don't think it's that strange. I'm not deleting the character in question, but I'm giving him a new name and identity. I doubt I'll ever roleplay whoever he ends up as, but he is very fun to play, and I invested a lot of Inf into his build. And so his character is gone, and the toon is being remade into something else.

    I'm wondering though, how many of you would kill a character to enhance a story? How many have actually done the dead? What was it like?

  13. I haven't rolled anything new yet, but I'm thinking of Ice/Cold. It's the only Control set I haven't been able to play past 10 or so. On the other hand, I want to save Cold for a Necro/Cold MM someday.

    As for the customizing, I've changed my Grav/Rad to pale blue and white to make Radiation into Time Manip. I've given my Ill/Thermal the Mirage treatment, with firey illusions (Orange Blind looks fantastic with an orange fiery eye aura). My Plant/Kin had her plants brightened, and her Kinetics are a light green shade now. It looks much better for her Lifeforce manipulation powers. My Fire/Sonic is probably going to stick with the default sonic colours, although I find the Orange/Yellow Bright Fire looks better than the default, so I may alter that a bit.

    I haven't played around with Weatherby yet, but I want to see haw he fairs against 8 man spawns.

    All while the enemy is trying to run away (And thus, not attacking).
  19. 4.1 Mag is enough to TP Elite Bosses and lower. Unless they have extra protection.
