I was never around for CoP so I'm sure how feasbile this suggestion is...but would someone be able to develop a mission arc with MA that is similar to CoP?
Of course you don't get an actual item of power.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not very feasible. CoP could allow an entire SG to participate, making the team/co-op make-up of the trial much larger than anything MA could do.
[/ QUOTE ]
I meant more along the lines of the story. I've heard about the mechanics but never follow-up on the actual storyline.

I was wondering the same thing. -
Things I would like to see.
A difficulty slider in test mode.
The ability to cap custom mobs at a certain level
The ability to have hostages escorted to objectives
The ability to trigger glowies. -

Hey all,
We are aware of the issues regarding the forums and are actively working to address them at this time. We should have the forums back to normal shortly.
Thanks,

OK...So if they have to remove this due to performance, fine...What about the real bug with casting Magic Fortune and players not getting a buff? I've been seeing this all weekend and it's a bit annoying for something I paid money for x2 (dual boxer with 2 accounts).
Please look into this DEVs.
Thanks

Are you positive that the players you've been trying to buff don't already have some form of fortune-buff on them? It can occasionally be hard to spot those icons (I really wish they were all a uniform and distinct color).
If there is any fortune buff on a character, no other fortune buff will work until the prior one runs out (20min). Note also, that casting a fortune on someone will not refresh their buff if it's about to run out. You have to wait for the buff to expire before you can recast it with any effect (other than the card-throwing animation).
I've been on fortune cross-buffing teams (stop snickering!) quite a bit since the pack launched, and never had there not be a buff effect (though several times people thought they didn't get one, because they had a hard time spotting the buff icon.

Actually, he's right on the money.... I personally wasn't having a problem getting buffs, but I had a friend of mine who was playing CoX on a computer in the same room as me (so I could visually confirm this) that when I tried giving him a buff, he would click "accept", and nothing would happen. No system message saying "you got ____", no "you got a temporary power" message center screen, no buff icon appearing anywhere, nothing. I had another friend try his on him, and he accepted---still nothing.
I'm not sure if this is an account-related issue, or what the deal is, but there most certainly are people experiencing this bug of not getting the buff even if they click "accept." Very, very strange.

I have had this issue. I know of two others that have had it happen as well -
It would be nice to have difficulty slider in MA edit mode. It would make things a lot easier to trouble shoot (for me at least) without having to spend inf or travel.

I am liking this one. One question. Does anyone know how the face in this screenshot was achieved? I can't seem to find that mask.
-
OK. I am officially jealous. Come on PlayNC Store...

It's pretty sad, but by allowing you to drop and vote without even entering the arc they really opened the door up for abusing the system in both directions.
Seriously, if you had to enter the mission for even 2 min it would probably halt the vast majority of 1 star griefing and you'd likely only see it if/when you pissed someone off and they attempt to "get even".

What server are you on? I need to put a money mule there. -
Jeez, I hate that blue cave with the semi hidden passageway. I think I hate that one more than the cake room. I tend to avoid cave missions when possible.

Greetings Players,
Issue 14 is just around the corner, as with many powers changing Issues we will be granting (1) free respec per character, on the day that Issue 14: Architect is launched.
This notification is to give you at least 7 days notice that a respec is coming!

Run away from myspace while you still can!!

OK since you brought this back to the front, mind telling us why? -
Two of those would have been me dying. I am not sure what the heck happened on the first. I got "held" with four ticks of soul storm damage, yet there was no hold animation or chance for damage ticks. One second I was up, there was a flash and I was face planted. I was standing at the edge of my power burst range which is where I normally get for her, so i am really not sure what happened there. My second death didn't matter because of the first.
Sorry all. -
I guess people forgot that "farmers" are what supplied the market. Now the Farmers are merit hoarding, so the markets are suffering. There is no such thing as casual any longer. Find a group that you can run with consistently, work on your skill and start "farming" yourself.

(3) Make the Random Rolls a better chance. Remove some of the garbage so our odds are reasonable of, if not getting a recipe we can use, at least one that someone will want and we can sell on the market.
[/ QUOTE ]
In my opinion, this is all that was needed in the first place. -
[ QUOTE ]
So why not reward us for playing the game? Why the complicated anti-exploit shenanigans?
Complete a mission, merit. Complete a short story arc, two merits. Complete a long story arc, five merits. Beat up a GM, two merits. Beat up an Event GM, three merits. Beat up an AV, two merits. Complete a TF/SF, whatever it is now. (I haven't done a TF in 3+ years.) Get an easy defeat badge, merit. Get a hard defeat badge, three merits. Get all the exploration badges in a zone, merit.
How would that break the game?
[/ QUOTE ]
It wouldn't. It just makes too much sense for it to be implemented -

Peregrine Falcon, are you sure you don't just have the Hide Recipes Missing Ingredients box checked on the drop down at the vendor? I can pull up all the prices for every recipe out there with a toon that has exactly zero merits on them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Whoops. I just logged on and it looks like that's exactly what was happening. Thanks.
I withdrawn that objection, but now I have another.
Stuff costs WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY too many merits. My Scrapper will be 50 before I have enough merits to get anything. You know, actually getting to use some of those set IOs would make the game a lot more fun than simply staring at them in the window.
[/ QUOTE ]
Luckily it's a Scrapper. You have a chance to get very large chunks of merits.
[/ QUOTE ]Scrappers and stalkers have the best setup for merits especially stalkers. Just skip to the end and do only minimum task to complete the missions.
[/ QUOTE ]
I meant the Scrapper could get more merits than a Brute or Stalker. Just run a couple of mid level TF's and poof! merit problem solved. -

<ul type="square">[*] A pact can only be created between characters who are Level 5 and under.[/list]
[/ QUOTE ]
I feel this needs to be at least 10. I don't normally bother even teaming before lvl 5.
My SG recently decided to make a team of Shield characters to level together but I'd got above 5 before any of the others had logged on. So my feedback is that I tried to use this facility but had already out leveled it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Personally, I feel as though it should be extended beyond level 10. I have two characters at 34 and 35 that I would love to pact. -
Subjective
[ QUOTE ]
My character looks ludicrous with that dorky run animation (sorry BaBs), I look like I need baby powder cause I'm chaffing badly in some very uncomfortable places!
[/ QUOTE ]
Perfect!
In the lower levels on a Brute, it is squishy as heck.
The end drain is way too high.
Emotes need to work with the shield active.
The character creator screen will only show round shield and weapon at the same time. If you use a non round shield, you can see the weapon OR the Shield, not both.
