Thanks for the feedback guys.
Purples, purples, purples....the bane of my CoH life.
The reason why I don't put purples in, is because I simply cannot afford them. This build was taking that into account, and I think it's one of the great things about this set combination, that I can put dirt cheap debuff IOs in it.
But DemonicJudgement, your comments about Apocolypse being little to no difference in price to Decimation (I think you mean), has made me wonder....
EDIT: Ok, just as I thought - they are so much more expensive, but if you know of a place where I could get them cheaper or for the same price, I'd be very interested :P -

With my plant/fire dom, I find that I am more often out of melee range, than in it - and the only time I'm really in it, is when I use Combustion. My attack chain is something like this:
Seeds > Roots > FE > Fire Breath > Run in melee > Combustion > Use blasts to finish off mobs
As for the opening question, I'd say take it - makes for some nice AoE damage -
I'd go for Fire Mastery, then when you hit 47/48, respec into Psi Mastery.

Liking Puppet Mastery.
Just been reading up on it though, how about a Body Puppet for the tier 3? It'll also a tie-in with the rest of the puppet powers. -
I was wondering about the +DMG buff from Cloaking Device myself, but according to Mids, it's Targeting Drone which gives the AR snipe the damage buff.

Soloing is not fast, but it does get easier as you level, especially 41+.
Don't be afraid to take powers, even just for the time being, as you can always get rid of them later. I had Stone Mastery before, but respecc'd into Fire Mastery recently, and boy does it make soloing quicker and easier! I'll be probably respecc'ing back into Stone later on for concept reasons. -

Hi -
Past 38, I tend to hardly ever use Incinerate. It may do good damage, but my build is filled with ranged attacks, and so don't have time to go in for just 1 or 2 melee attacks.
If anything, I'd recommend Combustion over it anyday -

I'd 2nd what has been said, and respec out Spore Burst and Spirit Tree - they're next to useles IMO.
Spore burst can be quite handy in PvP though. -
Maybe it's just me then - I really enjoy controlling and whacking hold upon hold on mobs - no matter what type [obviously the most convenient hold first!]
The only dominators I'd strongly advise to take a mass immob power on, would be on a gravity and fire dom because they have disorient powers (which would stop the mobs from moving all over the place - some mobs can surprisingly stagger so far away from the group)
You can never have too much control IMO -

Seeds of confusion is so powerful (mainly because of the excellent recharge/duration ratio (3 rech makes it kind of perma even without hasten) and the lack of an accu penalty, that you could skip an AoE hold and get away without the Vines. I'm sadly scared of a nerf someday soon
And Roots is not really usefull either imo, but that's personal taste i guess.
Also spirit tree isn't that good. It's rooted on the spot and most of times battle is too frantic and mobile that you can't afford keep standing near it to benefit it's even not so usefull +regen.
Personally i'd take a second travel next to SS instead, because it can be tough going about the rogue isles with no vertical movement and cj from leaping offers nice extra combat mobility too. Or take some nice extra powerpools (tp friend or stealth pool for example) if you like.
Aid self is not so important unless you plan to PvP a lot and it's especially less usefull when you don't have PB from /ice or /nrg .
And personally i'd never ever drop creepers. They totally rock!
Mu mastery is a my fav patron. Powersink is pretty good for end recovery and the pet is a great healbot. Outweighs soul mastery by far imo.

Go with what Blue said - Aim will help a lot, especially with Vines, for those "Oh [censored]" moments. I personally would never skip a mass hold.
Roots + Seeds go well together because it stops the mobs from running all over the place(I've slotted Seeds 3 Rec 2 Acc 1 ConfDur. Remember to target the back of the group!)
Stealth works great in a Plant dom's build as it let's you get that much closer to the group for aligning Seeds of Confusion.
Soul Mastery on a dominator is pants. And yes, I'd know unfortunately.
One last thing, Seeds of Confusion [Cone confuse] and Spore Burst [Sleep] generates aggro unlike it's [similar] Mind control counterparts. -

I've reached level 30 with my Warshade recently - aaaaaah what a feeling! Heard it gets much better!
Anyways....I've not slotted Dwarf or Nova form with end mods - Stygian Circle is all I need. I've slotted it with 1 recharge IO and have hasten, and find that it is up everytime I need it. -

Just a note on your Patron shield - I'm not sure if it is Defence or Resistence based to be honest, but I would slot 3 x DEF/RES, 2 x ENDRED, rather than 4 x ENDREDs

I would say Shiver is different to Arctic Air in that Arctic Air provides damage mitigation with it's minor confuse and fleeing effect. (I've slotted mine 3 ENDRED/ 3 CONFUSEDURATION), only because I have the slots to spare - this means the ticks are the same but each tick lasts longer)
But, apparently, a Power-boosted Shiver is a sight to behold.
