In talso the training store, you can exit out of the door to the right of the counter at the back of the store. Also have you notice that when enter a mission door, it will open out into the street, but in the mission when entering or exiting it opens in to the mission map?

Go to YouTube and search for Objet. It a 3d printer, if you have $20,000 you can have a desktop printer for yourself.

Quote:Then you love this aura, it is ground only. And jumping when you land, makes a big patch.I'm just not a huge fan of the "path" auras.
Yeah, they look cool on running characters. But for jumpers and fliers, all it does is obscure the screen while your character moves.
One other thing I noted, when you are defeated, it makes a patch that covers your body. Instance grave. -
Yes I am having the same trouble. It happens on all the servers. It is also happens when I Try to enter port oaks. It seems to happen if my toons where logged out in those zones.

As others have said, have fun, ask if you don't know. Don't be afraid to tell others that you are new.
If you find yourself in a high level zone as low level character, run down the center of the streets, cars and trucks don't hurt you, mobs can hurt. Mobs on the street tend to stay on the sidewalks, and only ambushs and aggroed mobs jaywalk.
Mobs have three states, calm, alerted and aggroed, calm they will walk back and fouth or just stand there emoting. Alerted they will stop what they are doing an look at you, Aggroed they will start attacking you. If they become alerted you can back off before they attack you, but if you approach or even stand there to long they will attack.
If you have to go to the hospital remember to talk to the nurse, she will sell you insp.
That all I have for this time.
Good hunting. -
Bet you get a good laugh when you de evolution. " oh wow it is a trained monkey!"
I only have two characters with names like that.
Jess A-girl, my high school anime girl tank, whose battle cry is "you about to beaten by A-girl.
And my undead dual blade/dark brute Crypt D. Knight. Who of course has a green aura. -
Old player here.
This was the prez park enterance back in the first beta of COH. Shortly before going live, the devs added a 2nd start zone, GC moved kings down when it was added. (look at map of king and you will see that it fits with prez's map.) The devs placed a new gate in GC for the park, king's gate was left with out a place to connect to because COH was about to go live. The devs didn't have time to rebuild king to take out the gate area, so they just left it. -
Yep, they can be buffed, on my sonics ATs I buff them with the teammate buffs and keep it behind me when mobs run to Meele range. I also use mine as a apha target if there is a large group.

I am having the same problem, with vista OS. No sound. Ran some old demos that I know had sound, but now don't. I use zolth's launcher to start it up. My guess is a patch that the devs did broke the sound play back. Hmmm, think I'll send in a bug report next time I am in game.

Demon wings and angel wings are vet rewards, (think it 6 months, not sure about that though) all other wing types are drops. Look in the market for them if you want them now. Otherwise you have to wait for a drop. Good hunting.

sadly the devs. fixed that that work around with GR. so we are back to where we started. Devs. please can we get a lock tray option.

Those are the most used, but I have seen bookshelfs placed close together used as floors.
Desks, benches and cabinets also, though if you are floating the floors you have to hide the legs or the look though bottoms.
The long tube lights on or off make interesting looking floors.
The best way of doing things is try what you want, make a test room, try out small test of what you want to use. Also go though the "post your base" threads on the forms here. If you see something that you like ask about how it was done in the thread.
Good luck. -
I went a looked yesterday, they don't have any overlay yet. In fact they only have the interactive maps up, not even the downloadable one... Yet. Give them time they are working hard to get them to us.

I just went an checked. There is nothing wrong that I could see. Now if you have not visited in awhile they had a layout change. But it is the same place that we loved. Here's the home page if you need to up date your book marks. http://www.badge-hunter.com
Sigh. Beating to the punch again. You have to love this place with so many people that race each other to to help. -
Welcome, you will have a great time here. Don't worry about making mistakes, we all done that.
A few tips when you start playing, skip the AE contact for a bit. There is a lot more out there than that and you will learn more about how the game works. There are tons of zones that you can visit.
When you out level atlas ( or galaxy) look for the T on your map, that the tram that can move you to a new zone ( go to Kings Row). There find your police contact. Get the scanner.
If you are starting on vill side look for the F on your map. That the ferry, works just like the tram. For villains you want the broker.
Click on all npcs that have a circle around their feet, read what they have to say. They will clue you in to what you can do in game.
Finally if you don't know something ask in chat, someone will gladly help you. If not just ask here in the forums.
Good hunting have fun.
Ps. Don't feel that you have to rush to level 50. This game is about the trip, not the destination. -

looks nice. but to tell the truth, i think yours was better, Dark.

wow. thanks for the replies so far. though i am surprised that no one came back with the standard reply. you all know the one. all together now... "It's a..."

That happens in game. As your character, not as player. By weird stuff I mean lag, rubber banding, game bugs, DCing, extra.
To prime the pump sort of, I'll give you all examples of what I mean.
Dcing during a task force. We all had this happen to us. We come back and in chat say "sorry I DCed", but what if you came back, and said in character, "Stupid Ouroboros meddlers, yanked me right out of time to do a dumb mission that any one else could do. And then they miss the target time when sending me back...arggg. Oh...wait you all are cleared to know about Ouroboros, right??"
Ok, folks have at it. I hope that you can come up with some good stuff. -
not to sure about this. but i think there is an error here on the names of the files.
in the file demonSumm.txt for the demon prince you calling for a file "Demon Prince".
yet in the boss demon file.txt you only using "Prince". will this mess up the txt files? sorry if i am out of line for questioning this. thanks for looking. -
oddly i have always know it as scrapper's tp. Because scrappers didn't care about debt, but how fast one could get to the mobs or a quick way to get to a contact for insp to take that out slightly bothersome AV. ah the good old days of scrapperlock.
-
first off you should float the field off the floor, you can use the floor safe for this. Slow field look great in screen shot, but not that great when walking though IRL. as to color pick a floor color that looks like water, Blues and greens look good. the floor i like is pebble or stone work if you making a pool. hope this helps.

Quote:this is a good book, give some good advice, and gives *cough* facts on zombies.Zombies don't get tired. You do.
If you haven't read Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide yet, I'd strongly suggest doing that. -
these look great. good job all. Now if we could get the thorns' tp ring as an item. we be set.

we had the same problem of an AE player the other day, Our pug team in bricks was going to go after Nos the AV. when he joined, he though it was an AE mission and was waiting in atlas. when we told him it was in brick he didn't know what that was, or where it was. He was lvl 42. we talked him to brick and with the mission up, he still couldn't find it. we had to go to him and lead him to the door, explaining to him about the map and red arrow to find missions. he did ok once in mission till we got to nos and then quit after our first teamwipe (we were running at lvl 5 diff.) we did finally beat the AV. but it makes me feel sad that we have players who don't know any thing out side AE.
I guess the point is maybe the devs should make a 0 level vet reward that can be earned by playing a person's first toon to lvl 10, that way the player get a look at how the rest of the game is played, without have it be a timed thing ( you have to wait x amount of time before you , the player can enter AE.), or having every toon earn a badge to get in.
I don't hate AE, i do play some mission from it. but i hate the ideal that some players end up cheating them self out of the rest of the game because they don't know there is a bigger world out there than atlas.
