I tossed you some info via PM, and either I am missing something really obvious... or you didn't actually make the APP available yet, because I can't seem to figure out how to get it on my phone. Advice/Help please.

I use Wormhole all the time... however it does need a target. Best way I have found to fix a character who is stuck is to leave the area, more often than not, the NPC just pops out of the wall on his own, ready for ya to kill him. Or you can let an aura power Tim him to death.

I don't PvP because I have never really liked it... in any game. I have not played games due to PvP being anything close to a major component. It's why I stopped playing FPSs... they are pretty much all about PvP now it seems.
And the comment above about trash talk just being part of it? I can't get around the fact that it seems unnnecessary to me, no matter how ya justify it.
What didn't help the cause in this game was all tbhe powerleveling and massive min/maxing that went along with PvP. Things I hate doing. I almost never IO a character as it is, let alone feeling required to get the expensive ones and all the Acccolades just to compete.
And behind all of that is an underlying personality quirk of mine. I hate not being able to succeed at things. Its why when I buy a game involving two-player I can never just play it for the first time with a friend. I have to solo for a while to teach myself how it works. In PvP, the only way to get better is to play more, there is no such thing as learning solo first. -
The mission repeat bug is not linked just to the ITF... my team had that issue on the mission in which you speak to Faathim in E7 of WWD.
What happened somehow, or what it seems like, is the leader of the TF inexplicably changed during the course of it. So, somehow, the complete while I was the leader didn't count.
By chance did the leader of your team change prior to your starting the TF? Or, did someone who wasn't the leader talk to an NPC? It seems our leader changed when someone else spoke to Faathim. -
To my knowledge there aren't any user mods that actually alter the way the UI is set up... you can try to adjust the size of the UI Elements in settings. Perhaps making them smaller will help?
I guess I am not much service here since I just put the pop-up in the upper right under my HP and buff bars. -

Hmmm, just one NPC, eh? How about the Rulu-Shin AV from one of the WWD episodes. Of course, the Drudge boss rocks too...

And this Japanese legend gives credence... how? Or did I miss somethbing where legends somehow make animations in this game appear out of nowhere and suddenly not look dumb when played on a wolf model?

Quote:I sincerely hope that being a paid for set has no bearing on correcting a set when it is over-performing. I have no idea what the actual likelihood is though.Probably, but do you honestly see the devs nerfing two paid-for sets? Just look at how much of an outcry there was over the SBE Performance Shifter proc getting nerfed (read: fixed) because of the fact that they paid extra for it.
The unfortunate reality of Street Justice and Titan Weapons being paid-for sets makes them significantly less likely to see nerfs, because neither development nor marketing is going to want to deal with people threatening to sue them or complain to the BBB or whatever over what they perceive (incorrectly) as a bait and switch. -

Quote:This.I'm just saying, even when power creep exists, there's no really good reason to just barrel on into more power creep until eventually Titan Weapons ans Street Justics are just average.
I'd much rather they add power-sets into the game, shoot for average and then nerf or buff outliers as needed. It's not going to provide people with an endless cycle of FOTM powersets, but it's also not going to fall into a cycle of endless power creep either.
To me, it doesn't sound like this thread is giving credence to a buff for Staff... it sounds more like a needed nerf to StJ and Titan. But that's just me? -
Heh... and then there is that opinion as well.
As an aside, I always thought the 'super-briefs' looked stupid. Of course, I never liked Super-Man so that prolly plays into it as well. -

Quote:When did you start operating on spite? That seems new to me.Well, it's this kind of attitude that makes me wish it would happen even more, and which motivates me to support those who want it to happen.
So, Leo, you want sword-biting dogs? OK, I'm with you on that
Let me make it clear that I have no issue with anthropomorphic characters. I love animals. The important thing to remember is the anthro- part... the humanoid factor. Everything a player does is designed to look good on a man shaped rig, significant deviation just won't look good. Period. Then, my opinion enters into it... in which case I feel strongly that a dog can't possibly wield a sword in its mouth effectively, or while not looking foolish.
I will concede that I was overly harsh and emphatic in my first post in this thread. However, I will maintain that if others are free to excercise their opinions, then so am I. -
When people make billions and billions in this game... I have to wonder as to why? What could you possibly do with all that? I think I have maybe 3 billion across all of my characters, and it feels to me like I am unimaginably wealthy. That amount will last me for a very long time. I would likely start giving it away if I had an order of magnitude more than that.

I think they have moved to the "random" portal access instead of "giant building" access as a way to save time and money. It is far less invasive to plop a portal somewhere... instead of redesigning a whole section of an existing zone just to make a portal to a new zone.
Don't get me wrong, I think I agree with you... pretty much... but I was just sharing my perspective on the 'why' of it all. -
That is... the height of ridiculous. I hope nothing like that ever happens in this game.
That's no kind of 'awesome' I want in this game, I can tell you that.
Allow me to answer the question in the OP then, according to my own opinion: I expect not to have them. And this makes me glad as the majority of the powersets would look stupid when wielded by dogs and cats. -

Are you a VIP? If not, you can't make any Incarnate powers or progress.
And, in that case... the "next" for you would probably be to begin on another character, or consider working on an IO Build if you haven't already.
Also, the Wiki is a great resource for practically anything you want to know about the game! -

Quote:Gotta agree up to that point, dude.Hero 1 has no reason to join the Phalanx, and it would be silly to add him to their roster. If Hero 1 needs a "family", it should be with Vanguard. If the Phalanx needs a patriotic presense (and I don't think it does)
Anything after, well... no. Except for your suggestion on TF Contacts that is.
For me the Ultimate team of Phalanxers would be:
- The leadership of the team is taken over by a totally new, hopefully not lame or patriotically colored hero
- Positron -- He resumes his role as inventor, and resident smart guy
- Glowball -- Penny Ying becomes resident psychic, but takes on an -actual- hero name... not the one I suggested I hope
- Citadel -- He receives some more attention in-game and actually becomes a character worth caring about
- Synapse -- He's gotta stay around as the resident wise-cracker
- Foreshadow -- Manticore steps down to be all Vigilante and brooding after the death of his wife, and Foreshadow steps in to fill his spot.
- War Witch -- She steps in to be the resident dead chick on the team, since Numina is boring, IMO

I don't understand this mindset one iota! The Beta is open to -all- VIPs. It is, for all intents and purposes, an Open Beta. So who gives a fig if people post things from it (as long as they should have access to the thing in the first place, that is).
