Quote:It is your line of thinking that is detrimental to the smaller servers. Shame on youWas on Triumph tonight red side and indeed the lowest amount of players was 14. At the same time Freedom was in the 100's. For everybody forced to play outside the peak times, considering a move towards the most heavily populated server would be a smart thing.
Or perhaps just start a few new AT's to play there during the night. Then when your own server awakes go back.. If you stay there, they will come, but if you leave, it will not leave a good impression on others that log in.

Freedom is no longer the most populated as of i16. Virtue is. Also, there are a lot of clueless people who have no clue how to use /search. <_< And I personally don't invite people below level 12 when I'm running 30+ missions.
-
Quote:Virtue is more populated than Freedom, now.Yeah, I had a full team, chatty /boardcast, and lag spikes at the market on Freedom just last Thursday. Now it's possible that Freedom's activity has been reduced by two orders of magnitude in the past 6 days, but unlikely.
I regularly lead 8man pug redside teams there at all level ranges. They take but 5-10 minutes to form, mostly

Or you can stop nerdraging and sit and think and learn to form teams or find ways to get yourself invited. I'll only give you one example of what you could do. Try asking people who are already teamed if they have a spot for you.

I certainly would not be bringing my villains to level with puny heroes. You have nothing to worry about. Villainside is more fun anyway.
-
When GR comes out, do you think a relaunch in S. Korea could be possible with the Koreans only needing to purchase the GR expansion to get access to all the game's content? The game has significantly evolved since it failed there.
-
Are you one of those nooby Trapsers that stays back with their FFG where it affects noone but you? Traps is fine, you just need to learn to play..... with it.

Quote:I reccommend rolling villainside. There is quite a community redside VirtueHey everyone.
So, yeah. I joined CoH three months ago, when the AE/slammer craze was at the height of its powers. I wasn't really familiar with it for the first month -- I leveled my first character to 32 largely solo, doing paper missions.
Then, peer pressure. I have to admit, being able to fully realize various powerset combinations with easysauce XP wasn't a bad experience. I wasn't exactly -enriching-, but it was a fun indulgence.
Thank god it's over.
Now that it is, I realize that I have absolutely no idea what to do with my in-game time. I'm on hero side now, for the most part, but I've no idea how to get involved in task forces, where to hang out to find level 50 teams to do cool stuff, how to go about making influence and getting recipes outside of AE, etc. The list goes on.
So, my fellow virtuers -- help me out here. Please?
I'll even tank for you. Pick your poison. Shield defense? Dark armor? Willpower? Futa? Okay, I won't do futa, but seriously, give me a hand. AE farming broke my rudder.. The content is of higher quality there. Use the /search system and place yourself in it by hitting the "team" button in the bottom left and adjusting the dropdown box accordingly.

Lol? The game isn't anywhere near running its course.

The last mission of the first Vivacious Verandi arc.
With all the chaos you'd been causing, one would expect a huge vg v vg v vg v vg war, perhaps in an outdoor setting around the Giza. What you get is a warehouse mission with only two VGs and barely any fighting between them. -
I said ncsoft.com, not plaync.com o.o
-
Guild Wars and Aion are there, but no CoX? WHY?
Also, there is no press release for the launch of i16. I HATE NC! -
-
That is all. If you want evidence, try trolling me for it on this thread. Learn to use the /search system to find groups and put yourself in the LFT system. yadda yadda. Met new players yesterday.

Quote:Cheers! It's pretty telltale due to how quickly it died. Just goes to show that when 95% of the crowd disappears, 95% of the crowd was blatantly farming and trying their damnedest to skip as much content as possible, rather than experience alternative player-made content.
I'm disappointed in the players more than anything. Is it so hard to play through something interesting instead of a bunch of bosses named in all caps and on the same outdoor map day in and day out?
If people "quit" AE due to the changes, they didn't belong in it anyway. Get out of my way so we can try and make a real AE community for once. -

Quote:Don't you mean imported into the game? No! Bad! Standard code rant!
FYI, the tool that processes geometry exported into the game had a bug, and anything that was exported as an editable mesh rather than an editable polygon (go look it up if you want to know) didn't preserve the smoothing groups (again...go look it up)
Zero impact on performance. -
Quote:But the same old is very fun! Grouping with random people and seeing how you work together o.o. Plus the smash, smash good! More colorful smash? .... SMASH GOOD!Yes, a very nice issue with lots of QoL adds. Lots of cool stuff and now maybe AE will not be a farmer's haven.
Unfortunately, they didn't add anything to really do in game. I logged on and changed a few colors, ran around and it's pretty much same old, same old. Ah well. I guess these types of changes are easier and quicker. Who knows. -

Don't feed the nerd-raging troll.

Quote:Sorry, I'm not a necrophiliac....and it feels weird. Kinda sad, but relieved. I can move on with my RP now, but I really did enjoy playing the Baron Technis with all his time traveling shenanigans.
I'm wondering though, how many of you would kill a character to enhance a story? How many have actually done the dead? What was it like?
