Since you are a fellow Justice player, I'll give a few minor recommendations.

Definitely post in the Justice server forums to let folks know you are back. (Click that link to get there.)

Join one or both of the main Justice Global chat channels. That's where you'll get a lot of information on events, teaming, and all things Justice.

Justice For All - to join, type /chanjoin "Justice For All"

Justice United - to join, type /chanjoin "Justice United"

Those should be typed in the chat box.

Justice is still active, it's just a matter of finding the people and letting them know you are looking for a team.

No problems here. And it's a computer and location I haven't used before, so had to answer the security questions and authorize the location.

Or possibly restructuring how the new store restructuring for Freedom will work with PayPal.

Log into the PlayNC account. Click on Billing Summary.

I'm not sure exactly what the options there are when you don't have a Credit Card on file, but in the Actions box there may be a link for Add Card, Change Card or similar. Since I have a card on file, I can't see what options you have.

Sorry I wasn't clearer. I only mentioned the EVGA Precision Tool as an example of a program that does similar things to what the programs I listed as possible problems do, overclocking and fan controls. I wasn't saying it was on your computer.

Other than that, I really don't see anything out of the ordinary in your CoH Helper or HiJackThis logs. At least, nothing that I can recognize as having caused problems in the past or behaving similarly to other known problem programs.

Can you launch the game in Safe Mode? Open the launcher, right-click on the City of Heroes entry and select Properties. Put a check mark in the box at the bottom for Launch in Safe Mode and click OK. Then launch the game.

If you can launch it in Safe Mode, it will load with the lowest graphics settings. You can then raise the graphics to an acceptable level. I'd recommend setting the screen resolution first since it will force you to restart the game. A safe setting would be the one ending in (Desktop) since it will use whatever you have as your Windows resolution. After the game restarts, change settings one by one and click Apply Now after each one. You may even want to occaisionally quit to the Desktop and relaunch the game to make sure it's loading correctly. If it doesn't, go back to the Launch in Safe Mode setting and try again, but restart the game after fewer changes each time until you find the setting causing it to hang.

Other than that, I'm pretty well out of ideas. Maybe one of the other techs here can spot something I'm missing.

It's possible that either the TurboV software, the Smart Doctor or the GPU Boost software is causing the problem. One allows you to overclock the CPU, one overclocks the shader clock of the graphics card and the other allows you to overclock the onboard Intel IGP. It's possible that one, two or all three are causing a conflict with CoH.

We've seen examples in the past of the EVGA Precision Tool or other overclocking tools causing problems.

Also, I see that the Asus EPU program is running as well. This is a fairly new Energy Processing Unit designed by Asus that is supposed to be a Power Management tool. Since it works with Overclocking and power saving features at the same time, it may be introducing a new problem that we haven't seen yet.

Most likely cause is WindowBlinds.

Either set WindowBlinds not to skin CoH or uninstall it.

Players have reported that disabling it doesn't seem to work.

As for CoH Helper not working, did you save it to your hard drive or run it from the website? You should save it and then right-click the file and Run as Administrator.

Along with the /maxinactivefps setting that Chad mentioned, make sure that you set the NCLauncher to close when the game is launched. There is, so I'm told, a memory leak that occurs when you leave the Launcher open. I see it running in the HJT log.

I don't know since I set mine to close after launching the game when I first installed the new Launcher, but people I've added to my "game technical info trust list" have reported it, so I'll take their word for it.

I also see that you have an ATI video card listed in CoH Helper and HJT logs show some nVidia graphics services running. Have you previously had an nVidia card installed? You may want to make sure the nVidia drivers and software are fully uninstalled and then run Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode to remove the parts that the uninstallers don't remove.

Give me warning when mine are coming. I need to pick out someplace with cute waitresses that don't know me so that I can try to use the power of the brownies to score points. I have had practice ya know.

And don't worry about not having done everything in the game. I've been here since the head start and still haven't run all of the heroic content, much less the villainous content. Several Trials, TF's and SF's that I'll likely never experience now.

Looks like I probably won't be able to make it. Lost power during the day, and the Launcher doesn't autostart on my computer.

I've been "updating" for the last hour and I'm at 24% with a whopping 27 Kbs/sec for my speed. That's been consistent with my normal speed since using the NCSoft launcher. I think the fastest I've ever seen was one burst for about a minute at 46 Kbs/sec.

I've been updating each client every 3 days as it is, or if I see a new update on one of the servers when launching the other clients.

Ah well. Have fun.

People with some types of color-blindness may not be able to read those posts at all.

Especially if they are using the villain settings.

I was talking to some people the other day and they told me that BAB is getting seriously injured during the attack on Galaxy City. As in life-threatening injuries.

He doesn't die but his injuries are extremely severe and his brain is transplanted into a humanoid feline body, similar to Tigra from Thundercats.

But they are going to keep that as an NPC only model and not allow players to use that new body style.

They wanted to do something like this earlier but Chris refused to animate it. Now that he's no longer with Paragon Studios, no one else is objecting.

At least, this is what I was told by some very unreliable sources.
