No animals were harmed in the making of those flops.

Quote:Normal people can push around 50+3 Incarnates like they're cardboard standees. I doubt they're particularly terrified by Thorn Wielders.A level-5 possessed dude with a magic dagger is probably pretty damn mighty, elite, and terrifying to a normal person, which - bear in mind - player characters aren't. Even the really gimpy ones.

I often end up using tights with Mesh simply because pieces (sleeveless robes/jackets, skirts, certain shoulder pieces, certain chest details, etc.) that I want to use on top of the maille are only available with tights.

Quote:I've never been on a TF that was over (successfully) in about 15 minutes.I KNOW some people are still using it into the 30s but honestly I don't see how that is faster than running TFs, etc.

I prefer to passively acquire teams. There was a time when that happened regularly without me doing anything, followed by a time when it happened regularly if I set my flag to 'Looking', followed by a long time of not getting many teams because rather than using the search all the erstwhile leaders seem to want to do is broadcast "Level x team LFM", or else expect you to have joined one of an array of arcane chat channels in order to LFM/LFT in an even more uselessly restrictive manner. The DfB allows me to passively acquire a team, if only for a brief mission. I would certainly like a larger variety of such trials. -
On a particular powerset/AT? Because Gust and my Sonic KB cone were working fine on my Storm/Sonic Defender when I played earlier.

Quote:True Lies did pretty well, I thought.Arnold Schwarzenegger tried to break out of his action guy roles, with comedy movies like Kindergarten Cop, Twins, Junior and Jingle All the Way. None were very commercially successful, so he went back to sci-fi/action, with Eraser, the 6th Day, and End of Days.

Isn't Thursday when they usually do patches?

I figured it was an artifact of them changing from one version of her to another, kind of like when you shoot a Lost with the curing wand and sometimes you'll see the Lost you shot run off while fading out and then the citizen model appears.

I wonder if they'll get Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise to do cameos...

I suppose it's too much to hope that his dull comic strip will rest in peace as well... like as not they'll just keep reprinting it.

How about Leo diCaprio's recent role as Hoover? Of course, he's moved steadily away from his 90s fluff-headed pretty boy image with some really good roles along the way, so it's a less shocking change now than it would've been. Still, an oddly cast role that has me mildly intrigued by a movie I'd otherwise be wholly disinterested in.

I'm all for more options, but I like the current alternate Jab animation far more than Brawl's animation. Not least of which because it actually looks like a jab.

Like I said, to appease idiots who thought "Miss" was insulting (because of its attachment to marital status, as I also mentioned in passing), but were fine with the abbreviation for the same word as said by a drunk person.

Quote:I queue up for it because it's a passive way to get into a team activity while I'm doing other stuff solo (though it tends to limit me to street sweeping). There was a time where team invites poured in with some regularity if I just set my flag to Looking, but that time is past.Sorry.. but if you're running DFB past 15-20(and that's really pushing it).. you're wasting your time. The TF was designed for new toons up to level 8-10, that's it... anything past say 20 at most and either the player is too lazy to do anything else or just wants to rush to 50 for all the shinies- and that type of 50 I don't want anywhere near me on a Trial.
And even at level 27 or so, with Patrol XP a DfB run can be the majority of a level's worth of XP. Hardly a waste of time. And unlike most TFs I've had the displeasure of being on, the DfB is pretty short which makes it better for me. I wish there were other missions to LFG into at higher levels, but until there is I'll continue to queue up for DfB when the invites aren't coming. -
"Ms." was an abbreviation for "Miss" that was adopted in the 70s or early 80s with a slightly different pronunciation in order to appease idiots who thought "Miss" was insulting but who were fine with the same word said by a drunk person and written as an abbreviation with a period. They should have at least pushed for it to be written without the period, or to be written as "Mz." short for "Miz". Or, better yet, just accepted that "Miss" need no longer be attached to marital status.
