Out of those I'd do either spine/nin stalker or spine/fire scrapper. Neither is the best, but it's the best of both sides from what you got, imo.

I've been playing my fort lately (NW actually, since Forts have zero advantage over NW's now), and it can be fun. But it's a pretty big challenge. Expect to get hit with like 80% of attacks thrown at you.
Shatter armor (epic pool attack) is the only reason to play one these days. It's the second strongest attack in the game next to AS, it seems. Plus it does -20% res, which is pretty huge. Make sure you get it, team up, and just spam that and webs. -

Now I get it....
All those times we saw Chido run to drones across the entire zone....he was really just practicing for the race in these Olympics! -
I agree that you probably wouldn't use HP much. I know I don't use bonesmasher almost at all on my EM/regen. But if it was a guaranteed placate (unlike the actual placate power, which is broken and useless if you've already attacked the target with anything except AS)....I might use it more.

Jimmay plays an elec/something I think, and he likes it a lot. I assume you absolutely have to proc the attacks to get any decent damage though.

This isn't really PvP related, to be honest. And in my opinion, it should not be done in a PvP environment. DR will really screw everything up. Things like "highest damage" will be pointless, since everybody will basically have the same thing, since DR will make buffs and inspirations meaningless. Also, timing the "longest hold" in PvP will be impossible. Considering a "long hold" is something like 8 seconds, compared to a short hold of 4 seconds, the difference is marginal, at best. And when you get one person with 8.3 seconds while someone else has 8.34 seconds, good luck timing that accurately.
Yeah, this sounds cool, but it should be done in a PvE environment, because that would offer a much bigger range of results. -
Quote:I found another exception relating to this. The dwarf form of peacebringers/WS has the same exact bug. Even though it has kb protection, it gets suppressed when mezzed. Just like forts/NW. So great news....they didn't just forget that VEATs exist in the game. They forgot that all epic AT's exist. Great job devs...as usual.I'm pretty sure they didn't fix Forts/Windows's mez protection toggles yet (Imdom Will)
When they fixed Mez powers suppressing knockback protection in mez protection toggles, they seems to have skipped over Fortunatas/Windows. So yes, you can mez them and toss them around like a cat in a sack. -
Uhh...stone has no advantages at all, so pretty much anything is better. WP is ok. Shield is good because it has fairly high levels of defense, along with some decent resistance. It's definitely not top tier like Fire, but with a large investment, it can be made pretty good.

Quote:I'm with Rent on this. I got phase and hiber on both my stalkers. And spines really doesn't have any tricks. Ripper is pointless because you can just spam impale, which does more damage. Trow spines is completely pointless, because it basically doesn't even do any damage. I guess you can proc them, but you can just proc impale and lunge and spam them nonstop. Not like a stalker is likely to be using many attacks anyway.impossible.
spines has enough toys that you will never be out of things to take.
The main reason I have phase and hiber is that it's a 100% guaranteed getaway. Without phase, if people are on you after you leave hibernoob, there's a decent chance you'll be in trouble. With phase, there's no possible chance to die at all. And when you play a toon with zero accolades or IO's, that is nice to have.
Lastly, some people actually like PvP'ing at less than level 50, for example sirens. With only hibernoob, you're basically limiting yourself to only RV and arena. Which is fine for some, but not all. -
It would actually make the set useful in PvP, at least for offensive playstyles.
But it would require a total redesign of the powers, which I can guarantee will not happen. -
When I get bored I like to hit Lith's bad SR with my bad fort.

Yeah not worth the slots. You get a lot more from slotting an actual -kb IO somewhere else.
-
That is meaningless considering it completely suppresses when you attack. It's no different from just using normal invis and just toggling it off before attacking. Doesn't sound superior to me.

Can't say I've ever seen anybody playing those combos (because they aren't very good), so you're not likely to find much on it. The blaster is the one you should concentrate on though - it's at least decent.

"Once you have climbed the mountain of WoW, there is no descent."

I'm starting to think it's all just a façade. Nobody can really be that ignorant. He's probably another insane person like Twixt that's using a video game to "prove" a completely obvious point like "If you act like a moron, people will treat you like one".
